    ReplyDelete

Will stick around if anyone needs help.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  24. Guys! help! I'm completely stuck, can't work on the clock

    ReplyDelete
  25. Great little game. Number clue was trickiest for me. You need to get both colours on same time display - not separately.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Have you seen the hint in the mirror Dazz?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Dazz: get green on top row and red on bottom (green to right and red on left as in mirror clue) - then use the 4-digit number that appears :)

    ReplyDelete
  28. hint on the mirror?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Lipstick on the mirror shows which colour bar to have on the top and bottom lines.
    Adjust with the buttons.
They will then show the same time.

    ReplyDelete
  30. that's the thing, I can't see anything on the mirror even if I click on it

    ReplyDelete
  31. need ten sniffs...where is the lipstick or black key or marker

    ReplyDelete
  32. Black key comes from the 4 green buttons on the shelves.
Press the blue square to close the door and see the order.

    Rerunning to find the lipstick.

    ReplyDelete
  33. for black key, keep clicking on purple square on a wall to see hint places 123456
and click on dot in that order

    ReplyDelete
  34. Do you have the lipstick yet Dazz?

    ReplyDelete
  35. nothing...no lipstick or anything

    ReplyDelete
  36. put bulb in lamp to have hint numbers 2341
combine hint with colors on shelves
    spoiler color code

    ReplyDelete
  38. Thanks seb, but I must find the clues because it doesn't work

    ReplyDelete
  39. I don't get the word hint.

    ReplyDelete
  50. hi back Austen :-)

    ReplyDelete
  51. The marker comes from the colour code on the bed as AΩ noted above.

    ReplyDelete
  52. wow, a sniffmouse on the moon, hard to see

    ReplyDelete
  53. Shame my friend.
    I miss your humour!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  62. thanks guys, but no use without the marker, there are 6 nmbers and 4 buttons

    ReplyDelete
  63. Dazz - Once you get the bulb for the lamp it shows the order of the colors to be used from the shelves like AlphaOmega said

    ReplyDelete
  64. Getting started for me was the hardest. Once I realized there was a button above the 4 button shelf I finally got the first clue

    ReplyDelete
  65. Dazz, look at places 6 numbers
6 and 2 are top left, 1 is top right...

    ReplyDelete
  66. Dazz the 6 numbers show the order to press the 4 buttons.

BR TL BL TR BL TL

    ReplyDelete
  67. The numbers are placed in the four corners. Press the buttons in the order of the numbers based on which corner they are in.

    ReplyDelete
  68. thanks seb! finally a little progression

    ReplyDelete
  69. Thanks for the hint about holding the purple button. Couldn't do anything until I saw that. Game flows after that. Very nice game!

    ReplyDelete
  70. those buttons really killed me

    ReplyDelete
  79. Great game Guntars - some nice puzzles Thank you

    ReplyDelete
  80. An hour and switching computers later....

My sticking point was holding down the blue button. I kept clicking it rapidly. Thanks for the hint, Dazz. Good game after that!

    ReplyDelete
  81. was going to save this for the morning, but just couldn't resist - great as ever!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

  88. 102 comments, Either its lots of fun, or its difficult, or its both.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Both, to start with, lol. Until I found the purple square above the four dots-bookcase. That started things.
Funny and good game Guntars. Thank you.

  90. For any latecomers:

Because EGDAW and it gives me a great excuse to play again:-

    Sniffthrough:

As usual you get a free Sniff 1 in plain view.
Nothing on the door today and the coloured shelves come into play later so let’s have a look to the right.

The only thing you need to do here right now is to have a word with the dude on the table.
He likes surfing and……… has an empty glass.
Your mission is to fill that glass!
OK so while you’re there you might as well note down the arrow hint on the chair but you won’t be using it for a while.

Turning right again we find a set of shelves with green buttons but no clue as to the order in which to press them.
Try holding down the blue square.
That’s better. Now you can see the order.
Press those buttons for Sniff 2 and the black key.

Back to the surfer scene your key will get you Sniff 3 and a bulb.
Haven’t spotted any lamps yet so let’s spin around to see a beautiful sunset.

Look carefully and you will see the Sniff Armstrong on the moon (4).
If you place the bulb in the lamp you will get a colour order hint and Sniff 5 will be revealed on the horizon.
    Powerful bulb that!

Back to the door and now you should zoom in on the coloured shelves.

Sunset Strip again and combine the colours with the order hint to open the drawer at the bottom of the bed.
Inside you will find Sniff 6, a blue marker and your first surfboard (cue the Hawaii 50 music).
Surfer scene again and use the marker on the chair seat.
The red lines under four of the letters show the order to form a word.

That word opens the top drawer under the green button shelves for Sniff 7 and everybody’s favorite – the lipstick.

Now you know where to use the lipstick.
    You don’t?
Where have you been for the last 96 episodes?
Use it on the mirror of course.
Doing so gives you a hint for the clock.

“What clock?” I hear you ask.
It is to the left of the bed so go and use the buttons on it to make the top and bottom colours match the hint in the mirror.

This will give you a 4 digit number which will open the bottom drawer for Sniff 8, a screwdriver and surfboard 2.
That screwdriver is just what you need to open the panel by the table for Sniff 9 and your third surfboard.

Put your three (very small) surfboards on the shelves to the right of the green buttons and rotate them to match the arrow clue from the chair. The flame indicates which end to use for orientation.
Completing this will get you Sniff 10, the almost as popular as the lipstick double f and some beer.
    Leffe Blonde would be nice.

It is beer O’clock for the surfer dude and in return you will get Sniff 11.

Throw the ff at the wall above the mirror for Sniff 12, say thank you to Guntars, exit and give the game the usual 5* rating.

Another brilliant production from the Sniffmouse stable.
Easily my number one game writers.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Hey, Austen, lol, that was fun to read! 'Where have you been for the last 96 ..'

But, EGDAW is not meant for Sniffmouse-games, they ALWAYS definitely deserve a WT.
EGDAW is for the little in between games, that you pass by so quickly. (No names).

    ReplyDelete
  92. Sorry Arrie I only used it as a sort of excuse to play again!

    ReplyDelete
  93. Was that enough hints Sharon?

    ReplyDelete
  94. Well Austen, I didn't need any hints to get through this game! So HA! And Dazz sorry you struggled so much! No help needed this time. Guntars I'm on to you!! Anyway, A day late and a dollar short, But Loved this game. The bed scene, I would love that view in my bedroom! Thanks Again, Guntars! Wonderful Game!

    ReplyDelete
  95. I found this game difficult to get going because I did press purple button, heard a click, went around to see if anything opened but never in a million years would I have thought it needed to press and hold to close a door to see the numbers to press. Argh! Lucky I play with some very clever people, so thanks for hint :)

    ReplyDelete
  96. @Austen64 Great job on your very funny W/T! I'm convinced EGDAWT!!! No matter how simple or complicated the game because we all play at different levels. And also for others like me who rarely get to play live and need help long after others are out.
    Happy Escaping!

    ReplyDelete
  97. Tania it is Guntars and Angelika who are the clever ones thinking up these brilliang games.
The rest of us just have to figure out what on earth they have done each time!

Sharon with a view like that surely the bed should be facing the other way!

    ReplyDelete
  98. Thanks for the nice comment FireFly.
Doing walkthroughs for Sniffmouse games is almost as much fun as playing them!

    ReplyDelete
  99. I came back to thank Austen for the great walkthrough! Nice job! I agree with you..... :)

    ReplyDelete
  100. thank you another great game i needed them hints x

    ReplyDelete
  101. O dear, I was merely giving Sniffmouse a compliment here, not wanting to teach something. Please don't get me wrong. No need for sorry's of course.
Whatever reason you need to write a WT on Sniffies is good enough !

    ReplyDelete
  102. @arrie NL, I understand what you mean about those (no names) games. Sometimes it's confusing when (no names) players complain about too many hints too soon, or not enough hints...I think those players discourage W/T and hints and that's sad, since that is what this thread is about. So, please hint and teach away, arrie NL! I appreciate it.

    ReplyDelete
  103. No offence taken Arrie.
    All in jest I know.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Cool, thank you both.
    Miscommunication can happen so easily.

    :))

    ReplyDelete
  105. Thanks to all the players here for the WT's! (Austen64 / arrie NL). If you don't won't a walk through, don't read the comments. It's that easy.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Thanks Austen for comprehensive walkthrough. The color order did my head in, even with the spoiler, until you spelled out the logic.Cheers.
