Stuck on number clue - should be from clock?
ReplyDeleteI thought the shelves were clues
ReplyDeleteclock
ReplyDeletechange colour row with up/down arrows

colour code is combo shelves & fixed lamp
ReplyDeleteNice, just had trouble finding the one on the ceiling lamp.
ReplyDeleteDazz, the shelves are the clues but you need to find a number clue that gives the real order
Yay, still live-ish!
ReplyDeleteAnother masterpiece from Guntars.
ReplyDeleteWill stick around if anyone needs help.
I'm in a car not anywhere near A computer to play!!! But will when I get home...leave hints Austen!!
ReplyDeleteFun! Thank you Guntars
ReplyDeleteGuys! help! I'm completely stuck, can't work on the clock
ReplyDeleteGreat little game. Number clue was trickiest for me. You need to get both colours on same time display - not separately.
ReplyDeleteHave you seen the hint in the mirror Dazz?
ReplyDeleteDazz: get green on top row and red on bottom (green to right and red on left as in mirror clue) - then use the 4-digit number that appears :)
ReplyDeletehint on the mirror?
ReplyDeleteLipstick on the mirror shows which colour bar to have on the top and bottom lines.
ReplyDeleteAdjust with the buttons.
They will then show the same time.
No speeding now Sharon!
ReplyDeletethat's the thing, I can't see anything on the mirror even if I click on it
ReplyDeleteHa thanks you two....
ReplyDeleteneed ten sniffs...where is the lipstick or black key or marker
ReplyDeleteBlack key comes from the 4 green buttons on the shelves.
ReplyDeletePress the blue square to close the door and see the order.
Rerunning to find the lipstick.
for black key, keep clicking on purple square on a wall to see hint places 123456
ReplyDeleteand click on dot in that order
Do you have the lipstick yet Dazz?
ReplyDeletenothing...no lipstick or anything
ReplyDeleteput bulb in lamp to have hint numbers 2341
ReplyDeletecombine hint with colors on shelves
spoiler color code
green pink yellow white
Hold on.
ReplyDeleteLooking back.
lipstick from letter code (use marker on chair)
ReplyDeleteThanks seb, but I must find the clues because it doesn't work
ReplyDeleteI don't get the word hint.
ReplyDeleteLipstick comes from using the blue marker on the chair and putting the word you get onto the drawer.
ReplyDeletetotally didn't see the blue square!! Thanks
ReplyDeleteuse marker on chair above "surfing"
ReplyDeleteSee my last post Graham.
ReplyDeleteWas typing as you were posting!
is the guy hinting something?
ReplyDeleteguy is thirsty
ReplyDeleteOh - guess that explains it...I don't have a marker
ReplyDeleteblue marker from colour code (bed)
ReplyDeleteHi AΩ. Long time no see!
ReplyDeleteam I playing some other game, because there's no marker, only the word surfing
ReplyDeletehi back Austen :-)
ReplyDeleteindeed - can hardly catch games live lately...
The marker comes from the colour code on the bed as AΩ noted above.
ReplyDeletewow, a sniffmouse on the moon, hard to see
ReplyDeleteShame my friend.
ReplyDeleteI miss your humour!
Got it finally - never saw the darn button to shut the door and get the button order hint
ReplyDeletefor the word after using marker on chair, take 2 letters per word (hint in red)
ReplyDeletespoiler

ReplyDeletewell, there's also sth like a real life (very challenging recently)...

ReplyDeleteOriginally I did not notice that the red lines also give the order but managed to guess it anyway!
ReplyDeleteG P Y W Dazz.
ReplyDeletehow did you do it, Graham?

Good luck in real life AΩ.
ReplyDeleteHope to bump into you again soon.
ditto :-)
ReplyDeletethanks guys, but no use without the marker, there are 6 nmbers and 4 buttons
ReplyDeleteDazz - Once you get the bulb for the lamp it shows the order of the colors to be used from the shelves like AlphaOmega said
ReplyDeleteGetting started for me was the hardest. Once I realized there was a button above the 4 button shelf I finally got the first clue
ReplyDeleteDazz, look at places 6 numbers
ReplyDelete6 and 2 are top left, 1 is top right...
Dazz the 6 numbers show the order to press the 4 buttons.
ReplyDeleteBR TL BL TR BL TL
The numbers are placed in the four corners. Press the buttons in the order of the numbers based on which corner they are in.
ReplyDeletethanks seb! finally a little progression
ReplyDeleteThanks for the hint about holding the purple button. Couldn't do anything until I saw that. Game flows after that. Very nice game!
ReplyDeletethose buttons really killed me

ReplyDeleteyes, got them all,thanks graham
ReplyDeletefantastic episode
ReplyDeleteExcellent as usual, Thx.
ReplyDeleteThe "mechanics" of the puzzle w/ sliding panel was clever as was the digital clock puzzle. Very nice!!!
Great game Guntars - some nice puzzles Thank you
ReplyDeleteAn hour and switching computers later....
ReplyDeleteMy sticking point was holding down the blue button. I kept clicking it rapidly. Thanks for the hint, Dazz. Good game after that!
was going to save this for the morning, but just couldn't resist - great as ever!
ReplyDeleteClever puzzles, well done!
ReplyDeleteHi friends!
ReplyDeleteThank you for nice comments and discussions :)
I appreciate that
easy easy very easy!
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed I got there in the end on my own because the puzzles were a little tricky. Excellent game.
ReplyDeleteGreat Game as usual! Out with no help, yay!!!
ReplyDeleteVery clever and so much fun! Hopefully I can find some Belgian beer. Belgian chocolate is my fave, so I'll try the beer! Thanks for all your hints @alphaOmega! Thanks, Guntars! Sound effects are hilarious! :))))
ReplyDelete102 comments, Either its lots of fun, or its difficult, or its both.
ReplyDeleteLovedm it
ReplyDeletetahnx Guntars
Both, to start with, lol. Until I found the purple square above the four dots-bookcase. That started things.
ReplyDeleteFunny and good game Guntars. Thank you.
For any latecomers:
ReplyDeleteBecause EGDAW and it gives me a great excuse to play again:-
Sniffthrough:
As usual you get a free Sniff 1 in plain view.
Nothing on the door today and the coloured shelves come into play later so let’s have a look to the right.
The only thing you need to do here right now is to have a word with the dude on the table.
He likes surfing and……… has an empty glass.
Your mission is to fill that glass!
OK so while you’re there you might as well note down the arrow hint on the chair but you won’t be using it for a while.
Turning right again we find a set of shelves with green buttons but no clue as to the order in which to press them.
Try holding down the blue square.
That’s better. Now you can see the order.
Press those buttons for Sniff 2 and the black key.
Back to the surfer scene your key will get you Sniff 3 and a bulb.
Haven’t spotted any lamps yet so let’s spin around to see a beautiful sunset.
Look carefully and you will see the Sniff Armstrong on the moon (4).
If you place the bulb in the lamp you will get a colour order hint and Sniff 5 will be revealed on the horizon.
Powerful bulb that!
Back to the door and now you should zoom in on the coloured shelves.
Sunset Strip again and combine the colours with the order hint to open the drawer at the bottom of the bed.
Inside you will find Sniff 6, a blue marker and your first surfboard (cue the Hawaii 50 music).
Surfer scene again and use the marker on the chair seat.
The red lines under four of the letters show the order to form a word.
That word opens the top drawer under the green button shelves for Sniff 7 and everybody’s favorite – the lipstick.
Now you know where to use the lipstick.
You don’t?
Where have you been for the last 96 episodes?
Use it on the mirror of course.
Doing so gives you a hint for the clock.
“What clock?” I hear you ask.
It is to the left of the bed so go and use the buttons on it to make the top and bottom colours match the hint in the mirror.
This will give you a 4 digit number which will open the bottom drawer for Sniff 8, a screwdriver and surfboard 2.
That screwdriver is just what you need to open the panel by the table for Sniff 9 and your third surfboard.
Put your three (very small) surfboards on the shelves to the right of the green buttons and rotate them to match the arrow clue from the chair. The flame indicates which end to use for orientation.
Completing this will get you Sniff 10, the almost as popular as the lipstick double f and some beer.
Leffe Blonde would be nice.
It is beer O’clock for the surfer dude and in return you will get Sniff 11.
Throw the ff at the wall above the mirror for Sniff 12, say thank you to Guntars, exit and give the game the usual 5* rating.
Another brilliant production from the Sniffmouse stable.
Easily my number one game writers.
Hey, Austen, lol, that was fun to read! 'Where have you been for the last 96 ..'
ReplyDeleteBut, EGDAW is not meant for Sniffmouse-games, they ALWAYS definitely deserve a WT.
EGDAW is for the little in between games, that you pass by so quickly. (No names).
Sorry Arrie I only used it as a sort of excuse to play again!
ReplyDeleteWas that enough hints Sharon?
ReplyDeleteWell Austen, I didn't need any hints to get through this game! So HA! And Dazz sorry you struggled so much! No help needed this time. Guntars I'm on to you!! Anyway, A day late and a dollar short, But Loved this game. The bed scene, I would love that view in my bedroom! Thanks Again, Guntars! Wonderful Game!
ReplyDeleteI found this game difficult to get going because I did press purple button, heard a click, went around to see if anything opened but never in a million years would I have thought it needed to press and hold to close a door to see the numbers to press. Argh! Lucky I play with some very clever people, so thanks for hint :)
ReplyDelete@Austen64 Great job on your very funny W/T! I'm convinced EGDAWT!!! No matter how simple or complicated the game because we all play at different levels. And also for others like me who rarely get to play live and need help long after others are out.
ReplyDeleteHappy Escaping!
Tania it is Guntars and Angelika who are the clever ones thinking up these brilliang games.
ReplyDeleteThe rest of us just have to figure out what on earth they have done each time!
Sharon with a view like that surely the bed should be facing the other way!
Thanks for the nice comment FireFly.
ReplyDeleteDoing walkthroughs for Sniffmouse games is almost as much fun as playing them!
I came back to thank Austen for the great walkthrough! Nice job! I agree with you..... :)
ReplyDeletethank you another great game i needed them hints x
ReplyDeleteO dear, I was merely giving Sniffmouse a compliment here, not wanting to teach something. Please don't get me wrong. No need for sorry's of course.
ReplyDeleteWhatever reason you need to write a WT on Sniffies is good enough !
@arrie NL, I understand what you mean about those (no names) games. Sometimes it's confusing when (no names) players complain about too many hints too soon, or not enough hints...I think those players discourage W/T and hints and that's sad, since that is what this thread is about. So, please hint and teach away, arrie NL! I appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteNo offence taken Arrie.
ReplyDeleteAll in jest I know.
Cool, thank you both.
ReplyDeleteMiscommunication can happen so easily.
:))
Thanks to all the players here for the WT's! (Austen64 / arrie NL). If you don't won't a walk through, don't read the comments. It's that easy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Austen for comprehensive walkthrough. The color order did my head in, even with the spoiler, until you spelled out the logic.Cheers.
