ReplyDeleteThere is a clue on back of tiles
ReplyDeleteI am stuck with what to do with the radio.
ReplyDeletegot the left right puzzle, but nothing else yet...
ReplyDeleteR/L clue - pull purple knob on left side of bar
ReplyDeletehalf way down the hall. pull curtain down for a clue.
ReplyDeleteI think I need a button for the radio to work?
ReplyDeleteBandy you get a button from doing the colours on the train in the restaurant.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bandy - that's for the grid in stateroom
ReplyDeleteTY ST but were is clue for colors? I can move the dials to see colors but I get nothing?
ReplyDeleteI see red green and yellow on radio.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteBandy you have to take the key from the clock as well and use that on the train and open the front side.
ReplyDeletehave 3 out of 4 symbol, 4 out of 8 picture icons (you can turn this around)
ReplyDeleteI have open the train for the dots puzzle clue
ReplyDeleteOHHHH I got it now LOL
ReplyDeleteDoing the radio (make the coloured ladies the same size as the ones on the radio) you get the 5 colour code to get the last tile.
ReplyDeleteGreat game :)
Thanks ST there are 2 clues on the toy train!
ReplyDeleteAwesome game.
ReplyDelete5 tiles have been and can not manage radio part, and I have a screwdriver, but have not yet found where anwenden.Habe also 5-digit word not know where please find?
ReplyDeleteFive digit word - look at what is on the shelf (starts with T)
ReplyDeleteI didn't see a hint for the 5 letter word. It's just where you are.
ReplyDeleteScrew driver is used on clock.
ReplyDeleteI think the word was a give me LOL I don't remember any clue.
ReplyDeletehmm still no word, and where the clock for screwdriver?
ReplyDeleteJust finished this on another site. Wonderful game as usual.
ReplyDeleteSPOiLER ALERT:
ReplyDeleteSPOTRAINILER
Marita Train.
ReplyDeleteMarita,
ReplyDelete"Zug"
I am stuck after solving left/right-puzzle. where is the clock, key or 5 letter code you are talking about? and I can't find a hint for 4x4 grid.
ReplyDeleteHint for 4x4 Grid is on middle curtain in Hallway
ReplyDeletehmm have tiles finally 6 where I will find the other 2?
ReplyDeleteIn addition, the radio can seind as a left button missing can make the ladies sharper and higher but not exactly push the black behind
Hotzenplotz,
ReplyDeleteLook at the curtains (the one that can go down) to get the hint for the grid.
for 5 letters word - just roll and read the letters - answer is simply there
ReplyDeleteThere truly is not much better than a Tomatea game!
ReplyDeleteHotz The train and clock stuff is in compartment just before dining car. needs a key.
ReplyDeletedanke fürs wort
ReplyDeleteHotz, you make the key by finding 4 brass items and using them on the strings at the front of the bar
ReplyDeleteahh, the curtain. thank you!!
ReplyDeleteDon´t forget to open the front of the train - hint for color code on right table.
ReplyDeleteMarita - open train front to see color clue and go back to the dining car - right side table and use the colors on the picture of the train
ReplyDeletecan't get colored ladies right, looks right but no numbers?
ReplyDeletehmm, the colors not found on tischezug ggrr
ReplyDeleteAlso remember you are on the O express.
ReplyDeletemarita - zoom auf den Zug und öffne dann ganz vorn den Deckel. Da findest du die Farben für die Karte auf dem rechten Tisch im speisewagen
ReplyDeleteThere are 2 clues on toy train
ReplyDeleteDen deckel über den Scheinwerfern
ReplyDeletethe 4-digit codeauf bar I already thank you, but for color code train on the table is missing me, well and numerical code also
ReplyDeleteI had to shrink my colored ladies, superimpose them on the outlines, and then sharpen and enlarge them - took a bit of doing
ReplyDeleteDawn Bates,
ReplyDeleteAll three have to fit exactly (size, height and left and right). YOu don't get numbers but 5 colours on the left when done correct.
Marita, use the clock key on the train as well.
BTW - I´m out!
ReplyDeletehave only 3 colors red green yellow in the women, all are sharp and slightly greater than the behind but more does not do
ReplyDeleteGot it make sure you use all button on the radio
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you've clicked forward nciht the train did thank fabcode and pay
ReplyDeletedanke bin raus freu
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the hints and help everyone.
ReplyDeleteAnyone still around? I am missing one little white gear for the train.
ReplyDeleteI think that came from one of the puzzles, but don't remember which one.
ReplyDeleteI just started...where is the radio?
ReplyDeleteYeah, thanks. I was missing the conductor picture on the back of the tiles. Once I had that, I got out.
ReplyDeleteRadio is in the other compartment, high on a shelf.
ReplyDeleteYou first have to make the key to open that compartment.
It's in the other room which you get after you assemble the brass key in the bar :) You can go out of that compartment you start in.
ReplyDeleteOh...ok, thanks small...got all the key parts..working on it.
ReplyDeleteCan't find fourth key part. Any hints?
ReplyDeleteWonderful, excellent fun!! LOVE Toma Tea!!!!
ReplyDeleteKey pieces:
ReplyDeleteOn floor in bar area (looks like upside down U)
In area where you place the tiles on a window
Solving the L/R clue (hint is the lights in the bar)
Solving the grid (hint is on the shade half way down train hallway)
Thanks - missed extra views to left of tile spot.
ReplyDeleteThis was a GREAT game, as usual when Tomatea is involved...
ReplyDeleteDon't forget that in Tomatea games, the cursor lights up only when there is something to be done, and stops lighting up when a task is complete. If it's still lighting, then keep checking the spot for an undone task, or for the hint to another.
ReplyDeleteI have only two rooms, no clock.
ReplyDeleteClock is in a cabinet - maybe the 5 letter word one in the room with the train and radio
ReplyDeleteI hadn't use TRAIN
ReplyDelete*used
ReplyDeleteThank you, Janet.
ReplyDeleteNeeded your clues here to get me started but what a great game. Loved the radio puzzle.
ReplyDeleteI've read thru this thread and I have no idea where to find the colours for the train mat in the dining car. The toy train is still active but whenever I try and find another clue on it, it just minimizes again. It's unclear from the clues above as to where to open the front of the train and check the right table for the colour clue. I need more of an explanation.
ReplyDeleteT-T lost a live Tomatea.. but it was a great game indeed :D
ReplyDeleteI just need another Tesshie-e and Robamimi now ;)
So disappointing. I started playing earlier, and saved my progress, but when I came back, my key parts are gone.
ReplyDelete@maroonclown, as I recall, you take the key from the back of the clock after using it there. Then use that key on the gold circle near the right side of the toy train. Then, click on the round grey front on the left side and it will open, showing you the colors for the train on the menu on the 2nd table on the right in the diner car.
ReplyDeleteThat's it zoz! Thanks so much. I had the key in there and it was turned but I guess I wasn't graceful enough with my mouse-work to hit the correct part on the train. It was driving me slowly crazy.
ReplyDeleteThat was lovely, thank you Tomatea!
ReplyDeleteIf you like this setting, the first one in the Orient Express is here:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.escapegames24.com/2011/01/orient-express-night-walkthrough.html
Walkthrough written by Small-Tool, so don't worry, you'll get out.
Nicely done and good graphics.......
ReplyDeleteI didn't much like this. Reused graphics, clue hidden behind tiles, at first I didn't even notice that the train picture even was a puzzle.
ReplyDeleteDidn't enjoy this TomaTea game like I usually do..
Excellent one.
ReplyDeleteWALKTHROUGH
ReplyDeleteAfter entering a solution, click the button on the puzzle/door/safe to open it.
To zoom out of a puzzle, click on the field surrounding it.
There are two compartments in this game, a hall, a corridor and a restaurant.
You have to do some walking from one to the other.
Starting compartment
ReplyDeleteOne cat is missing on the jewelry box, the cats can turn around.
Puzzles hanging cupboards: number, grid, left/right clue.
* tile behind a cup of tea. Turn it around to see a clue.
Go outside, turn left.
Through the doors into the hall
There’s the place for the tiles.
Turning left again is the clue for the cats’ positions plus the door out.
* tile on the bar.
Turning left, 1st PART of a key at left window.
Go through the doors.
The corridor
The starting compartment is now on the right.
Move the cursor over the windows.
* tile at the hotspot on the window.
Close the curtain there to see the clue for the grid.
Walk on to the next doors, click the door on the right to see a keyhole.
Go into the restaurant
Follow the cursor on the left chairs.
* tile on a seat and 2nd PART on the floor.
Go backwards, move the cursor over the right side, zoom in.
* tile left of the window.
Click around on the train on the menu to see what can be done at the front of it.
Walk on to the back of the restaurant.
Click the purple handle on the left lamp: the left/right clue is given.
Zoom in on the puzzle up right, a clue is needed for the position of the dots.
Zoom in on the fence behind the counter. 1 part is given, 4 more PARTS are needed.
Go backwards as far as you can, go into the starting compartment.
Use left/right clue on hanging cupboard = 3rd PART.
Use curtain-clue on the grid = 4th PART.
Back to the restaurant and place the 4 PARTS. Then turn on the SWITCH left of it.
By clicking the hanging PARTS, the text moves also.
Set the parts so a key shows up = key.
Go backwards twice and use key on Second compartment.
ReplyDeleteEnlarge the locomotive on the table, click the small panel between the wheels: a cog is needed.
A winding key is needed. Click the front part: it opens.
Zoom in on the radio, try the arrows..not very sharp. Click the top knob on the right to sharpen the images, but, they’re too large. A knob on the left is missing.
Cupboards on the left.
Use clue at the back of the tiles to find the missing cat.
The middle cupboard holds the clue in itself: click the letters to see what 5 letters are in there.
Anagram them (A I N R T) = a clock.
Go outside and turn left.
Back to the starting compartment. Place the cat and set them as the clue shows, to get a screwdriver.
About item the clock, turn it, use screwdriver, get a cog.
Take the winding key.
The locomotive: place the cog, use the key.
Two clues in here:
1. The dots on the cogs are the clue for the puzzle up right behind the counter in the restaurant.
2. Open the front-cover to see the colours.
In the restaurant:
1. Set the dots up right = * tile.
2. Go to the menu and set the colours (plus the lights on yellow). A number shows up.
Almost there ..
- Use this number in the starting compartment = * tile and the knob for the radio.
- Place the knob and turn and move and sharpen the images to make them fit. It gives another colourclue (gr red ye red gr).
- Use this on the hanging cupboard here = * tile.
- Place all tiles in the hall.
Zoom in and set the puzzle.
Click the panel for a key.
- Use the key on the door here to go out.
SSSSssppppoilers.
ReplyDeleteleft/right clue: (llrrlr).
curtain clue (click what is X):
oXXo
XooX
XooX
oXXo
key-parts: left to right: short rope to long rope.
anagram: train.
the cats: (the two on the left are facing each other, as well as the two on the right).
(Replaying on the Tomatea-site gives a bug on the key-parts: the parts are correct already, but the panel doesn’t open to give the key. So if you want to replay start a complete new game).
Excellent game as ever, only the word puzzle let it down as there is always a clue for everything normally, you just had to guess using the letters that came up.
