ReplyDeleteI can't get the flashlight to work (?) in S. Do I need to do something to the snake first? When I use flashlight, I don't see anything and don't get another view of whatever's behind the grate.
ReplyDeleteAlso, is there a trick to the piano? Maybe I need to fix it somehow first? When I try to play code from book, message says "It sounds strange" and doesn't seem to do anything.
ReplyDeleteThere should be something (don't remember what) on that grate/radiator when you use the torch there.
ReplyDeleteFor the piano, make sure you turn all the pages in the book. You have to play 7 notes.

Self Defiant, is there any plan to fix the Pause Issue? I enjoyed the game, but I will not start it over again.
ReplyDeleteprakta - eat some of those wonderful herbs, and you will magically see where to put the gems! You will most likely need to use the crystal to get to the correct rooms fast enough!

ReplyDeleteI love these "Selfmedicated" games. I got out with 70 orbs, which would put me at 145 orbs collected. How many orbs were there all together, Selfdefiant? If I had one suggestion for this game, it would be to make the effects of the hallucinogen permanent until you take an antidote to make it go away. That way, one wouldn't have to keep going all the way back to eat more of the plant. You could simply explore the whole map if you wanted to and then take the antidote when you no longer need the effect. Then, if you needed to you could go back and take more of the plant if you needed it again and then take the antidote again. etc.... Great Game!

ReplyDeleteLooks like what I call Nightshade. Grows wild and is poisonous. Now you've got me reading up on plants. . . even as I can't seem to get out of your dreadful (but entertaining) hospital. They might have used it here as belladonna to put everyone to sleep. Thanks SD.

ReplyDeleteGreen Key - use the hint in D in Room Y. There is a grey panel on the wall in the middle. Think you have to use the screwdriver to open it. Then you'll see a symbol. You can click in three places to change the colors. That gives you the key.
ReplyDeleteAls - to get started. Go to F where you get the lighter fluid. Fill your lighter and go to I and light the fireplace. That gives you the Grey key which unlocks the Silver door. You can't use the Purple key until you have unlocked the Silver door.
