Games2Jolly - Jolly Boy Market Escape is another point and click room escape game created by Games 2 Jolly. JollyBoy have went on a mini trip to his friend's village. On eve of that day his friend had fed up with some important work in his garage so he didn't come home on time. Jollyboy was alone and there is no food left at the house. So he came out in search of food. He went to the nearby market place. Just as he was about to buy an apple for his appetite he noticed that he forgot to take his wallet with him. ReplyDeleteThe continuing saga of Jolly Boy and his two friends, James and Janice.
Jolly is walking through the village … alone.
James is working in the garage, and Janice is on her way home.
He hopes to meet her halfway, but for now .. he has to try and find the way to open the safe at home to get the money to buy that gorgeous looking apple!
A colourful bird looks down … will it help?
The leafs on the tree are not the ones he needs.
Jolly picks up a blue leaf and walks on to the well.
If only he had a bucket and a rope …..
He picks up a pink leaf and wonders what word is needed on the house.
The crate has a keyhole, so he takes it with him.
And look! The birdies’ colours are helpful indeed! “A hammer!”
Ah, that’s more like it!
Bzzzz, Jolly looks up at the bees, and spots the third leaf!
Walking on, Jolly takes the hammer and smashes the stone in the distance.
Four lines appear. Hmmm, what to do with them?
He walks into the last house and look! The clue is used up right!
What a nice symbol. Oh, this is so encouraging.
Jolly looks up at the wall … o dear … math … where is Janice when you need her …
“Jolly! Where are you!”
“I’m in here, Janice, so good to see you, look …”
Janice comes running in. “I just arrived home, what have you got for me here?”
“Ah, math! Yummy! let’s see … one times three … minus two …. plus seven …. divided by four …. a symbol!”
“Cool, Janice, let’s move on!”
After doing the math, Jolly notices the spot on the wall where the symbols have to go.
“What’s on that tree down right?” Jolly is happy Janice is with him.
She spots a lot of things he would miss! “A number …”.
“And a sort of puzzle on the last house as well .. we need a clue Janice.”
They walk home and inside Jolly tells Janice that he’s hungry and would love to buy an apple.
“Do you remember the code to the wall-safe here?”
“No, but we’ll find it!” Janice is always hopeful.
“That tree-number, let’s try the shapes on the cabinet. If the circle means ‘one’?”
And it does !
“Another symbol!” They cry out together.
When they walk back to the market-place, Janice admires the colourful veggies and fruits.
ReplyDelete“Colourful … wait here!” Jolly runs back to the last house and sets the colours on the wall.
A thread falls out.
When he runs back to Janice, she already placed the leafs and got a hook.
“Let’s tie them together and go to the well”.
What an awesome idea. But, where to use the saw?
Jolly decides to try it on the log in the last house and colourful arrows appear.
“Wasn’t there a colour-puzzle at home?” Janice frowns her forehead.
“Yes, there is!” Jolly remembers. “Perhaps we should count how many arrows per colour?”
And that shows the clue for the puzzle at the last house.
“Hi Jolly, hi Janice!” James comes walking into the story.
Clean hands and all fired up to solve this puzzle.
“I came as fast as I could, with food, but, now that you’re almost there, let’s continue.”
James is right.
This is fun.
James starts working on the arrows, to give them the number they found at home.
And soon he can put the matches in the inventory.
“Well done, James!” Jolly and Janice agree on that.
“Lol, let’s start a fire with the straw in the pot.”
The leaked oil shows a pattern that looks like letters.
And of course it works on the house. The key is used on the crate and look:
the last symbol comes out.
Now things develop fast.
Jolly places the symbol in the last house and finds a scroll.
“YAY, I was already hoping for that” Janice cries out.
They open it and study it together.
“x-y axes …. degrees …” James mumbles all his riddle-knowledge.
“Nope, James, you’re thinking too deeply. It’s for the safe at home.”
And there …. they find the money! Enough in there to buy the whole marketplace!
But … one apple is what they want.
They are so happy, that they forget to ask for the change.
And the seller doesn’t think about it either …..
Then it’s time to sit down and enjoy this apple.
Another problematic situation is solved.
