Good morning, trying to join but very slow loading.
ReplyDeleteStuck with four bookmarks and a can opener(?). IIRC the trick to these games is to use the cat, but not doing anything for me except meowing.

ReplyDeleteI usually like these games, but not this one... Too slow, too much idle clicking around, too few puzzles to be entertaining... And, as I see, almost everone got stuck around the same place (fire is green, a hat and a can opener), then a hint came that I don't understand (about "asking the lady") and then everyone was suddenly progressing... Cool.
ReplyDeleteI got the second end, but it still says normal end. I do not understand how you got the password for the fireplace, makes no sense to me. I wish someone would explain that. The rest of the game was pretty straight forward, not my favorite game in this series, I usually love these games. :/

ReplyDelete@Urban the hat is inside one of the center cabinets...there is a big 3 x 3 dot grid on the lower right...

ReplyDeleteThe hat has not much to do with the fireplace...it's inside one of the middle cabinets under the shelves jam packed with books.
Oh my gosh how dense I can't even get the colored box open with the book colors. . .anyone still here to help?

ReplyDeleteI mean she must have been living under a rock when saying "the old days when players worked together so harmonically". Sounds as if this hadn't happened for years to come. And that is just wrong. Especially with the real toughies, Neutral and Gatamari, collaboration has always been excellent between players.
So it's not a "thing of the past".

Note: Managed to track down Choko-chai and she apologized in an almost servile manner that the "keyword" was missing in the English version.
ReplyDeleteShe promised to fix it ASAP, so the later players might not have to deal with the "bug" any more.

ReplyDeleteThis was a really delightful game! Apparently I played it after the "bug" to do with nyangon was fixed. In my game, a rather stuffy looking royal person in a portrait gave the hint. And I so enjoy visiting the three real cats at the end!!!
