    ReplyDelete
  2. Level 1 is a very typical Escape game solution using music notes. Or are you having trouble figuring out how to get through the door LOL

    ReplyDelete
  3. What do i do in level 1? This is crap!

    ReplyDelete
  4. Can't get past the piano!

    ReplyDelete
  5. Ricky - see what notes (letters) the skeleton fingers are on and anagram

    ReplyDelete
  6. for level 1 nonmugglesue - see what notes the fingers are on then anagram

    ReplyDelete
  7. Anagram? How where? This is so confusing.

    ReplyDelete
  8. oh Janet.. didn't refresh and see you hint!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Ricky - look at the keyboard and where the fingers are. You will get 5 notes (letters). When you anagram the notes/letters you get a word that is the answer. This is a good anagram site
    http://anagram-solver.net/

    ReplyDelete
  10. efacd is the notes and i put them in the url but it took me to a page that wasnt found.

    ReplyDelete
  11. You may need to google piano keyboard image to see what the notes/letters are

    ReplyDelete
  12. ok Thank you. I will try.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yep - use the anagram solver to get the word

    ReplyDelete
  14. Hi all, Happy Halloween! Ricky Tapp there is a link to an anagram solver on the 2nd page, click the link at the bottom, put your letters there and try some answers :)

    ReplyDelete
  15. Getting stuck on 4. Translated, have the quote and who said it and the book/author but none of my answers are working

    ReplyDelete
  16. p.s. what was the last character of the sentence? Didn't see a translation for that on Red Luth

    ReplyDelete
  17. Janet, Harry is looking at what?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Janet, wiki says that symbol means 'end of sentence'

    ReplyDelete
  19. got the first egg on level 2 with help from Red Luth, but I don't know where to go from here?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Thanks Donas. Makes sense

    ReplyDelete
  21. Zoz - I don't think I got an egg on 2. Just translated the runes and took to granny

    ReplyDelete
  22. I neglected to anagram on level 2. Hint, leaving out 2 letters will get you the Halloween egg.

    ReplyDelete
  23. three is not macbeth...hmmmm?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Level 3 - look at title for clue

    ReplyDelete
  25. zoz egg is not linked to level 2 it is for another level

    ReplyDelete
  26. I also need help on 4. I know the quote, the book, I know what Harry is looking at. but cant put the right answer together. I have tried the name of the object both regular and mirrored. nothing. a little push please :)

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well on 3 I see two D's and two T's in the title. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  28. Yep - now look only in the text for "doubles"

    ReplyDelete
  29. EnJoy - Look in Wiki for the Chapter where the quote appeared

    ReplyDelete
  30. Ok, Pop. on 4 put all the things together! answer is three words

    ReplyDelete
  31. Hello all! I don't have time to play, but secretely started.
I need another hint on level 3, cause the doubles I get are only non-vowels (consonants?).

    ReplyDelete
  32. After solving this one, I have to practice again, so please ... ?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Have a good look at text again Arrie. Put on your glasses :P

    ReplyDelete
  34. Arrie - look only in the text for doobles - oops doubles. ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  35. HAHAHAaaa, yeah ... glasses !! lol, dutchie.
Janet, please read my comment. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  36. A hint could be: there are more doubles than just the first letters of words.

    ReplyDelete
  37. lol, Janet, I understand your typo now. Funny !

    ReplyDelete
  38. Doubles - don't a(dd), just l(oo)k

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  40. On 5, egg, I wondered who's? I tried 'thisriddle'.
    *bzzt* wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  41. For 28 I put the words on the right in order and tried to pick letters but that didn't work, I don't see how to make an answer.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Arrie, try the same method you used for that egg in another place

    ReplyDelete
  43. Verito, Look at words on left carefully.

    ReplyDelete
  44. thanks donas, I thought that would help, but .. do you mean the egg on level 4?

    ReplyDelete
  45. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Do the same thing you just did but think First

    ReplyDelete
  47. It's the method I can't find.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Arrie, for level 5, you should find 2 eggs using the same method, there is another word on the egg that should tell you the other place

    ReplyDelete
  49. There's a reason for that strange word in the 7th line - needed that 7th letter

    ReplyDelete
  50. I am stuck again on 4. I put the name of the object from chapter and now I see another picture, with another quote. but not putting it together. I tried writing the previous answer backward (mirrored) but no luck

    ReplyDelete
  51. ah, using the same method but on other words. thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Look carefully at not only what is reversed but who

    ReplyDelete
  53. Enjoy, you read the text on that second picture from right to left.
Use that method on the one who's speaking the words.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I must say, I looove the soundeffects ! (ahem... so far, you never know).

    ReplyDelete
  55. Does anyone know who wrote this riddle? Saw that Mtatt posted it but it seems a bit like Small-tool too.

    ReplyDelete
  56. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Enjoy. Right method wrong "person".

    ReplyDelete
  58. Ok. thank you will try again

    ReplyDelete
  59. got it. thanks, had put that it but not backward

    ReplyDelete
  60. on 6, it's about which is who's.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Thanks everyone who replied to me, I can't read music so that was wasted on me haha

    ReplyDelete
  62. Go with your instincts Arrie. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  63. Neither can I nonmugglesue: I googled 'piano keyboard' to find an image with the notes marked.

    ReplyDelete
  64. nonmugglesue, maybe this helps: http://pianolessons.forbeginners.me/files/2011/04/cropped-piano-keys2.jpg

    ReplyDelete
  65. Thank you Dutchie! I could finally put some order to it!

    ReplyDelete
  66. well, I am slowly plodding along. I am on the second egg of level 5. move toward the end. tried picking backward, but not getting a word. Is it moving backward from the end of the sentence?

    ReplyDelete
  67. I will delete above if it is providing too much info.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Not, it's not going backward by picking letters. It's about combining words.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Thanks arrie -ugh.. I guess I need a break. nothing is sinking in on 5 (2nd egg).

    ReplyDelete
  70. "Did you miss something???" I think this is some sort of hint, right?

    ReplyDelete
  71. Enjoy, both eggs are part of the final answer, no anagram just 'glue' them together.

    ReplyDelete
  72. That's a better hint, dutchie, thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  73. thank you both, now another egg?

    ReplyDelete
  74. try entering it both ways

    ReplyDelete
  75. Hmm - put the "holiday" in on Level 8 and got a really ugly color-changing witch. Methinks that's not quite right

    ReplyDelete
  76. Do I have to see letters in the Sirtaki-guys?

    ReplyDelete
  77. Lol, you met Broomhilda also :)

    ReplyDelete
  78. Janet ..... really ???? Oh ..

    ReplyDelete
  79. LOL - this is funny. Entering all these word associated with the subject and getting great screens.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Yep have met Broomhilda, the Dead End and the warlock now - great fun

    ReplyDelete
  81. Janet, you have to tell me all those words on the chat please, I'm very curious about those other screens. lol.

    ReplyDelete
  82. But still not getting me the answer to Level 8 :-)

    ReplyDelete
  83. Arrie, maybe you have to take a look at Red Luth

    ReplyDelete
  84. Did you found the eggs Janet?

    ReplyDelete
  85. Lol Dutchie, no eggs. was still playing.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Yes, thanks, dutchie. I found it. A lot of dancing on this level!

    ReplyDelete
  87. Janet, 1st things 1st. for level 8.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Janet, what do you have to do when you read 'First'?

    ReplyDelete
  89. Back from reading in Chat. Yes I missed something. Go back and try again

    ReplyDelete
  90. There are some more words with first letters, Janet.

    ReplyDelete
  91. level 10. hmm. Can't find the pattern anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Arrie, for level 10, it's a well known sequence often seen in nature

    ReplyDelete
  93. I already tried to go round, like the web, but that didn't give me words. I'll try again.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Follow the sequence Arrie.

    ReplyDelete
  95. nope. can't make it work. I can't think of any other sequences.

    ReplyDelete
  96. yessss, that's the title of the level, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Level 7 is killing me. I have no idea where to start.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Don' t forget that using Ctrl A can sometimes reveal things.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Thank you Lin, I used it on all levels, but didn't think of it on this one. Too late I think. I'd better stop now and continue tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Unknown - look at the candy pieces over the title and use them to translate. You'll have to fill in a few blanks

    ReplyDelete
  101. Unknown, you see the words, right? The letters and the sweets above them. Just as many sweets as there are letters.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Looking at title and candy above it will be a good start, Unknown

    ReplyDelete
  103. *facepalm* OH. Thank you, Janet!

    ReplyDelete
  104. Staring at the hint on level 10, but I still don't see a pattern, lol.
    Goodnight.

    ReplyDelete
  105. LOL - when you solve Level 8, leave me a few good hints. I'm done for the night

    ReplyDelete
  106. Level 8.
You found the word with the letters from the picture.
Now find a word with the letters of the newspaper-over-the-top-words.
    Glue them together.

    ReplyDelete
  107. On lvl 12 I am pretty sure what to use, but can't see where to apply it.

    ReplyDelete
  108. 03sf24g78aqlkj52, try to apply it on the words next to it.

    ReplyDelete
  109. 03sf24, maybe the title will help, how many does it take?

    ReplyDelete
  110. Hm, still don't get it. I was sure i should use b*****. Now i'm even more confused. Next to "it"? What is "it"? Don't i need a total number divisible with 8 (or possibly 4)?

    ReplyDelete
  111. 03sf24g78aqlkj52 , if you mean binary, find another way

    ReplyDelete
  112. for level 12, keep it simple :)

    ReplyDelete
  113. "When something is important enough, you do it even if the odds are not in your favor"

    ReplyDelete
  114. Thanks! Was overthinking :) Lvl 13 now.

    ReplyDelete
  115. the first 4 levels went so well, now I am just stumbling along needing to be spoon fed. Just finished 5 and of course I am stuck on 6. I saw Arrie's clue above, but nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Enjoy, once you have found them, think firsts

    ReplyDelete
  117. hmmm found them??? I am not smart enough for this one, or it has been too long since I riddled. firsts, I understand.

    what is them? sentences? lines?

    ReplyDelete
  118. Enjoy - google the quotes - see who said them

    ReplyDelete
  119. Initially, I was a bit puzzled by this level

    ReplyDelete
  120. And EnJoy please, don't worry about asking for or needing help. We all do - that's the only way you learn. And soon you'll be helping others too. Trust me

    ReplyDelete
  121. Don' t forget that using Ctrl A can sometimes reveal things.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Arrgh! Level So I got the first "Go Back" (6 ltrs) and then I tried another one (10 ltrs - anyone ever seen Kill Bill?) and got the 2nd Go Back.

    ReplyDelete
  123. LOL - put em together and Let's Dance

    ReplyDelete
  124. Be careful what you enter there, Janet. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  125. Looking at Level 10. See the numbers. Know the sequence I need and no idea where to go from there

    ReplyDelete
  126. I don't see what to do in 31...

    ReplyDelete
  127. Janet - start at first letter of first row and use the sequence to get a word.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Am I going for the spiral - do I start in the middle? No that doesn't work

    ReplyDelete
  129. No spiral (that held me up for a long time). Just go row by row.

    ReplyDelete
  130. NP Janet - now you can help me on 11

    ReplyDelete
  131. Lol - I am old. I remember when the song on Level 11 first came out.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Verito, turns on and off in a coded pattern

    ReplyDelete
  133. Verito. Some are short and some are long.

    ReplyDelete
  134. I can see better now. Thanks Donas and Lin.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Puffin - did you get Level 11? Think of what you use if you can't see. And look to the "o"

    ReplyDelete
  136. Had to step away for a bit. Still stuck on 11. Am I looking at the o's in the words listed.

  141. BOOO. Thats for Halloween. Yayy. That's for the riddle. Im liking all the hints everyone is giving. It has got me to lvl 6 so far. I know who said which, but i have no idea what to do with that information. May i have another hint please? Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  142. Hi Clio_rose; For level 6 initials might help you :)

    ReplyDelete
  143. Thanks dutchie. Very appropriate answer too.

    ReplyDelete
  144. Hi all! I'm completely lost with the 10 leg spider (?!?) at lvl 10.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Hi Mako, if you know what sequence to use, apply it step by step to get a word. Ctrl A might tell you where to start.

    ReplyDelete
  146. And yes it's a 10 legged spider lol, it only shows up with Halloween!

    ReplyDelete
  147. no idea what sequence...

    ReplyDelete
  148. Googling title will help you to find the pattern.

    ReplyDelete
  149. It's a number sequence often used in riddles.

    ReplyDelete
  150. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  151. You got the right sequence, apply it step by step 1,1,2 etc and pick the letters.

    ReplyDelete
  152. now "is that spelled correctly?" and no anagram works
I guess my English is to poor to see the right word, like with the word for pumpkin at lvl 8, even the anagram solver did not find that

    ReplyDelete
  153. Almost there but you missed a 1.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Not sure what solver you use. This is a good one http://anagram-solver.net/

    ReplyDelete
  155. Once again, thanks Dutchie, and..yayy Mako...thank you for asking the right questions. Looking at 11, and thinking.... 10 levels in one day?...thats quite enough for my brain. Friday night drinks all round, i reckon. Please keep leaving these great hints everyone. Thank you all so much.

    ReplyDelete
  156. ok, I got the answer but I don't get the sense of it, even if you start with 0 it should go further than it goes, so it starts with two 0...

    ReplyDelete
  157. Mako, using the sequence you mentioned, i didnt need to anagram. The word was spelled out. 8 letters.

    ReplyDelete
  158. I see now, don't count from one letter to another but always from the beginning, but they maliciously made it that you got the same without only the first letter counting that way
    it hurts !(^^)!

    ReplyDelete
  159. thanks for your guidance!

    ReplyDelete
  160. Good Morning. Went to sleep hoping I would dream of the answer to 12. Tried several ways.

The bottom two sentences: Used the first word to pick letters from the next words. Did both by sequence and by unique number from 1-26. Didn't get anything to take to granny. What am I missing please?

    ReplyDelete
  161. Janet I think your methode is right but apply it only to the word next to it.

    ReplyDelete
  162. Yes Dutchie. Thank you. I had included too much.

    ReplyDelete
  163. made up to 13 but have to go, leave some clues please!

    ReplyDelete
  164. For level 13, one of the begin words of sentences gives clue what tool to use.

    ReplyDelete
  165. Level 13 - there's a very descriptive word which tells you what code to use

    ReplyDelete
  166. Level 14 - Tried the obvious and, of course, it didn't work. Is the really large word a clue to the tool needed?

    ReplyDelete
  167. "Just don't go there..." Hmm, that could be a hint, don't go where?

    ReplyDelete
  168. Hi Janet, not the very large word, but there is another word that is slightly different in the text

    ReplyDelete
  169. LOL - like the skeleton bouncing his head with his hand. Go back

    ReplyDelete
  170. Yes, saw that I need to go somewhere but using firsts of places didn't work.

    ReplyDelete
  171. Try anagramming the letters

    ReplyDelete
  172. It wanted me to go horseback riding so I must be picking too few letters

    ReplyDelete
  173. Thanks all. Was picking the wrong letter on the 2nd one

    ReplyDelete
  174. I'm still stuck on the second egg of level 8. I see the top words on the level but can't grandmaa them into anything useful. Another nudge?

    ReplyDelete
  175. Anagramming first letters of top words should give a word, do the same with first letters of words beneath photo. This solver should work http://anagram-solver.net/ combine words for final answer.

    ReplyDelete
  176. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Thanks dutchie, I didn't combine the two. Haven't had my tea yet.

    ReplyDelete
  178. lvl 17, I think I got 5 of them, not sure about the 6th.
So little time, great riddles, but I have so little time and I'm not doing what I should...
Who's the author of those riddles?

    ReplyDelete
  179. For level 17, take first letter of 1, second of 2 etc and anagram.

    ReplyDelete
  180. Hi! Stuck on 14
I read the hints but I get nothing, someone help me?
    Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  181. Done! I came after posting!

    ReplyDelete
  182. Stuck on Level 15. I've matched up the authors with the tales but not sure what to do next. Looking at letters but can't get any kind of work. At the rate I'm going, it will take me a month to finish.

    ReplyDelete
  183. Puffin, have you found the hotspot to the grid?

    ReplyDelete
  184. Puffin, did you click on the book?

    ReplyDelete
  185. Ah, no I didn't even think to click the book. Thanks!
