  1. Level 18 scared me for a minute - thought I went back to 15. But not getting anywhere. Tried to use a certain Windows tool and buckets away but all I got was a really red grid of letters

    ReplyDelete
  2. 18 correct way try it in another location on grid

    ReplyDelete
  3. Janet, to answer the question you got from emptying your bucket you need the grid text.

    ReplyDelete
  4. lvl 18: I played with the blood bucket, got the sentence, got the quotation in the book, but no idea about the answer

    ReplyDelete
  5. ok, just the first name.. 19

    ReplyDelete
  6. The previous version of the grid clearly showed where the quote was from. The title tells you who the "victim" was.

  8. The problem is I haven't yet gotten any question from playing with the buckets. Don't know when to stop throwing red paint on the grid

    ReplyDelete
  9. Janet just use paint bucket tool in one place like thirst square.

    ReplyDelete
  10. "First" of course

    ReplyDelete
  11. Level 10.
Could someone enlighten me on the pattern?
There are about 35, and I have no idea.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Janet - I didn't use any "buckets" for 18 - I just looked at the grid. Some of the portions of the grid are different. Look for those and you will get your question.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Hi Arrie! It's a maths sequence related to nature, you know it well. Number the rest of letters and just pick them like in the sequence.

    ReplyDelete
  14. arrie - Google "natures pattern". It is a number sequence. Start with the first letter of the first row and use the number sequence row by row to get your word.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Of course I know it well, lol, I'm a part of nature myself, 'human'.
So, could someone .... etc etc ?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Hi all !!! Hope it works ,dont know if im in to post ...LOL

  18. On to Level 19. Thanks Puffin - that way was easier for me to see. While I did get some of the letters the other way, I got too splash-happy with the bucket.

    ReplyDelete
  19. YAY!!! good to see you playing New :D

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hey Arrie - did you get it? Ctrl A helps you see the numbers better

    ReplyDelete
  21. Level 10 -The sequence begins with F. Wiki helps to get the numbers. And as Puffin said start at the 1st square.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Trivia bit - if you take the words right before the comma and pick the 1st and last letters based on the crows, you get an anagrammed word that is legal in a few states?

Unfortunately, it's not the answer to the riddle :-(

    ReplyDelete
  23. You're on the right track Janet with first and last letters.

    ReplyDelete
  24. LOL - I think that is one of Lin's favorites... (Your answer Puffin, not mine)

    ReplyDelete
  25. I just went back and got your first answer to 19 - LOL

    ReplyDelete
  26. Sorry, was destracted by a small discussion about classical music, lol, also has a pattern of chords.
With a little help during that discussion I learned I had to work with Fibon .. (end the name yourself on google).
    Now, onto the math.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Stuck on Level 20 - I have the singers and songs and identified some words that might be important? Don't know what to do with the info I have.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Thank you for your posts !!got a little help... LOL

    ReplyDelete
  29. Me too - at least I know the song name, lead singer and group of the lyrics posted.

    ReplyDelete
  30. For Level 20, you should find eggs if you have the right words

    ReplyDelete
  31. The classical one that's playing I know too - had to rule out a couple others before I was sure

    ReplyDelete
  32. im sorry ,on 5 i read what it says but havent the slicest idea what to do..some help please..

    ReplyDelete
  33. Laughing Pumpkin - dead end

    ReplyDelete
  34. I guess I don't have the right words. Thought it was the words that are kind of scary.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Level 5 was tough. Look at the last word of each sentence - count and pick.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Puffin, do some basic riddling with the two things you have

    ReplyDelete
  37. It's Gonoud "The Funeral March of a Marionette "

    ReplyDelete
  38. thank you Janet,i have an egg now

    ReplyDelete
  39. Got one egg at least on 20. Thanks Cee Bee and Donas!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Now do the same thing you just did but think First - not last

    ReplyDelete
  41. I'm on level 11 now. thank you all for the given hints on level 10 !
A bit hard to riddle-concentrate when you're in something else as well, lol. But, level 11. YAY.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Thank you !! on 6 now

    ReplyDelete
  43. I just got back home and stuck on 11 now too arrie, let me know if you get anything.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Level 11 - Think of what you use if you can't see. And look to the "o"

    ReplyDelete
  45. Or you can always think of the "o" as a dot

    ReplyDelete
  46. 11 is easy, you "can't see", so what alphabet do you need?

    ReplyDelete
  47. Boy it sure is easy when you know what to "look" for.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Yes but as Lin said, sometimes the penny drops and sometimes it drops but just rolls away

    ReplyDelete
  49. on lvl 20, do we use the titles? I found half of the answer using performers only

    ReplyDelete
  50. I'm with you Mako, feeling dense on 20. Don't know how to get the other half the answer.

    ReplyDelete
  51. For level 20 - Basic riddling on the title may help a lot :)

    ReplyDelete
  52. On 20, use a different kind of approach to the first egg and make a visit to granny

    ReplyDelete
  53. Im stopping for the night at lvl 9 ,great progress for me !! LOL
Thank you all for your comments and thank you Janet for the immediate replies!
I ll continue tomorrow ,hope you ll leave helpful comments in the meantime LOL

    ReplyDelete
  54. On 33 how many things am I looking for? Because what I'm using may be missing one, not sure. I'm not getting something good for an answer.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Verito: On 33 you are looking for 10 things

    ReplyDelete
  56. Then it IS missing one, will try something different. Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Level 37, am I looking for three words?

    ReplyDelete
  58. That would be a good place to start Verito

    ReplyDelete
  59. Thank you Cee Bee for your hints. I finally did get Level 20. I think I had written so many notes that I couldn't see the info that was right in front of me. I re-wrote it and got it immediately. Now on to 21.

    ReplyDelete
  60. YAY!! well done Puffin, I'm glad I could be of assistance :)

    ReplyDelete
  61. I see I'll have to google some things in order to solve so it'll have to wait until tomorrow, but I see how it may be. Thanks for the hints!!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Anyone around? Level 15, I have the letter/number combos and the grid but not spelling anything I can understand.

    ReplyDelete
  63. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Yeah Me2. You found the grid. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  65. Me2 - if you found the grid use your number/letter combos to get letters and pay a visit to granmaa.

    ReplyDelete
  66. LinR, is that a hint? I might need a more obvious one.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Wow, I'd tried that a dozen times, just realized I couldn't read my own writing. Head slap!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Level 13 I think I recognized the key descriptive word for tool but don't know what to use the tool on. Tried the whole thing and nothing is popping

    ReplyDelete
  69. For level 13 you have to use a certain cipher. This level has a ROTten smell.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Dutchie thanks for your help. level 17-any hints for how to identify images? Hate to give up I've never gotten this far in one of these games.

    ReplyDelete
  71. level 17 is a bit hard. For most pics it's a say out loud thing: say what you see, The picname tells you what they all represent. If you found all 6 answers, take letters from it like first from first, second from second etc. You might need to copy/paste pic to Paint and select a pic, save it and do google image search.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Level 22. Any hints, please?? Stuck with the numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  73. The numbers you found are coordinates, the arrow tells you what direction to use (NESW). Use google maps.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Good Morning. Still on Level 20. Some questions please.

I have the song title for the text and the group who sang it. Is it the group or the lead singer of the group (RZ)?

I know the title for the audio piece and the composer. Is it the composer or the name of the old TV show that used it as the theme song (AHP)?

Not getting anything - except a few words that don't work

    ReplyDelete
  75. Morning Janet, first letters from artists should get you somewhere.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I have no vowels from the artist's first initials

    ReplyDelete
  77. Audio piece is no part of riddle,

    ReplyDelete
  78. Duhhh - please let me just start right over.... Can't believe what I did (actually didn't) do

    ReplyDelete
  79. Hmm, did you google all seven sentences? If you highlight secondl line and right click mouse and choose googlesearch, it should give you a (band)name staring with an O.

    ReplyDelete
  80. On 22 now - thanks for giving me a fairly easy one on 21 to salvage a teeny bit of my pride

    ReplyDelete
  81. Level 23 - got the egg and found the answer to it. But I have only one name and it doesn't work

    ReplyDelete
  82. Did you see the hidden text?

    ReplyDelete
  83. first and last name needed

    ReplyDelete
  84. Thanks Dutchie - my screen was too big to see it and I had to scroll down. Going there now

    ReplyDelete
  85. Thanks again Dutchie and Mtatt - got it.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Ievel 20-one egg appeared with little effort but the title portion is eluding me

    ReplyDelete
  87. mamam, try taking it one step for each line

    ReplyDelete
  88. level 20 google text for each line if you have that then try stepping down for other egg

    ReplyDelete
  89. Mamam - use a different way of picking with the song titles

    ReplyDelete
  90. I guess the artists brought you to that egg, now try to do something with songtitles.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Lol - now that you're all here...

Does Level 24 use a code/alphabet to solve, please? Tried a couple (thought S might be it) and have bombed out. Also tried to count and pick.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Hi Janet, no code needed, look for a word in the text for a hint what to do

    ReplyDelete
  93. I kind of see two words. One which goes with the upper pic and another which may tell me to superimpose?

    ReplyDelete
  94. no code no photo editing .have you wondered why times don't look accurate as in a real clock ;)

    ReplyDelete
  95. Level 20-re:titles-have done firsts and lasts with no joy in hours. It's just c rue l. Still stuck

    ReplyDelete
  96. Donas gave a good hint. Sometimes it's not just 1sts or lasts but a sequence.

    ReplyDelete
  97. In this case first only goes for First song but for Second Third etc song you have to pick another letter.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Janet, you're way ahead of me now. Still don't get 21. I'm sure it's something obvious that I am overlooking. Can I get a hint please?

    ReplyDelete
  99. For 21 hover your mouse over ghosts.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Still staring at 24 - actually the clocks looked okay except for the next to last. Multiply (times) ?

    ReplyDelete
  101. 21 just name the colours then note pic names

    ReplyDelete
  102. Janet try another not times

    ReplyDelete
  103. Together - thanks everyone. That one was hard for me.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Lol - I think I know who did level 25

    ReplyDelete
  105. I don't think you do Janet.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Cute level. Liked that one.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Got to go for a while. Yard work calls. Wonderful riddle - thank you all so very much. Love the graphics!

    ReplyDelete
  108. Hi Lin, guess I was wrong - remembered the Easter riddle

    ReplyDelete
  109. thank you. Headslap. My oma isn't happy

    ReplyDelete
  110. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Right approach Arrie, the images should google, then say what you see.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Arrie, the first is a kind of alcohol, 3 letters,
    say then all aloud

    ReplyDelete
  113. Thank you mako !! That's the first.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Stuck on 24
I read the hints, but no idea what to do here

    ReplyDelete
  115. Pichi, the last line of the text gives a hint for what to do with the numbers on the clocks

    ReplyDelete
  116. Hi Pichi. Level 24 was terrible for me. A key word is "together". And if you look back, I asked if I should multiply and mtatt said try something different

    ReplyDelete
  117. Arrie, the 5 - just read aloud too and 6 you already have

    ReplyDelete
  118. thank you mako, yes, I have 6 letters now, but there's a mistake in there somewhere.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Now looking at Level 26. Have identified the pictures - lol - even the name of the test pattern. Saw the hint in the title. Tried to count in order and while hovering but nothing worked. Even tried to find an order to the flashing. Help please

    ReplyDelete
  120. Arrie - I never got the 5th one so I used the anagram solver with what I had and a ? for the missing letter - got me the answer

    ReplyDelete
  121. Janet, you have their first names and their surnames and a TV with numbers that indicates counting.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Yes Lin I do but still drawing blanks. Is hovering necessary on the level?

    ReplyDelete
  123. Yes, on 18 now !
Phew ... challenging level for me. But fun.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Lvl 26 a TV with numbers to count? I see five characters tv, one in black and the other, with the numbers 1 2 3
I don't understand how to count

    ReplyDelete
  125. Pichi, use the hint in the title and find their names, then a way to count the name

    ReplyDelete
  126. Yes Donas, I have their names, but do not know how to count
I did not know what the hint means,I do not know this word and the translator did not translate

    ReplyDelete
  127. Pichi - sur is short for surname - means last name of person

    ReplyDelete
  128. Thanks Janet! now to think, like count this

    ReplyDelete
  129. pichi, don't count to pick a letter, just count the letters

    ReplyDelete
  130. I don't get any idea how to count too

    ReplyDelete
  131. Speaking of counting, any gentle nudges on Level 27? Saw the hidden text but need something to take.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Look at the "whole", no picking needed

    ReplyDelete
  133. when I count letters I get 5 consonants

    ReplyDelete
  134. Janet, find another way to take steps to pick a letter

    ReplyDelete
  135. Mako, are you on level 27 too?

    ReplyDelete
  136. Janet - focus on the words in quotation marks for 27.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Should be getting two vowels

    ReplyDelete
  138. 26, and completely lost

    ReplyDelete
  139. Mako - Count and A=1, B=2 etc

    ReplyDelete
  140. Mako, Janet's hint about using the hint 'surs' should tell you what to use, one pic is not an actor, but the real person, his name is very, very short

    ReplyDelete
  141. Level 27 - did sequence from front and back. Even tried to sequence words and thought I hit something when a word was the same as a letter (i.e. Oh, Are) but nada :-(

    ReplyDelete
  142. I got all the names, found them with pictures, so I'm sure about them
you say "one person is a real person" so maybe not names of actors but some roles..

    ReplyDelete
  143. ok, not Washington, but...
thanks for clues, finally made it!

    ReplyDelete
  144. Yep, sure did look like Denzel didn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  145. Janet count : 1 of the first word, 2 of the second ...
    Looking 28

    ReplyDelete
  146. Janet, your method looks right, maybe look again

    ReplyDelete
  147. Focusing on the words in the quotation marks on each line, my fourth has no four letter words...

    ReplyDelete
  148. Ignore previous comment - I got it

    ReplyDelete
  149. Janet - don't concern yourself with how many letters in a word just how many words.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Janet, take steps with words, but pick first letters

    ReplyDelete
  151. Yes, I got it right after I posted my previous comment. I'm on 28 now.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Janet, your 4th what? Ok?

    ReplyDelete
  153. Verito, have you found an egg on 38?

    ReplyDelete
  154. Verito, look at the title for a word that should give a hint how to move to pick letters, think of a game

    ReplyDelete
  155. Ohh! Thanks Donas. I'll try with that.

    ReplyDelete
  156. On lvl 28
I joined the phrases with the right words, I count letters with numbers coming out, one way and another, but I do not get anything right... The way is correct or is wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  157. LOL Pichi - I entered the "holiday" and got Broomhilda

    ReplyDelete
  158. I did all the same, from right and left

    ReplyDelete
  159. Pichi, look at left words again, there is something special about it.

    ReplyDelete
  160. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  161. Janet, please delete your comment

    ReplyDelete
  162. Something special? I do not know what can be

    ReplyDelete
  163. Pichi, there is something special about how each phrase on the left begins.

    ReplyDelete
  164. I am stuck playing twister on Level 29.

    ReplyDelete
  165. Thanks Puffin!

    ReplyDelete
  166. twister maybe it indicates something else in the coloured circles

    ReplyDelete
  167. level 21, should taking letters give another colour?

    ReplyDelete
  168. I read the hints up here, hovering over the ghost, so I think I know what letters to take.

    ReplyDelete
  169. may give another word Arrie

    ReplyDelete
  170. be aware of the "I" colour

    ReplyDelete
  171. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  172. Arrie - you see the colors - know their names. And you hover over to see the pic info. Combine the two

    ReplyDelete
  173. Thanks Mako, I needed help on that one. Got that colour wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Thanks for hints of 28
Now stcuk playing twister,I've never played this

    ReplyDelete
  175. For 29, I'm thinking it's not twister but some code. Just not getting the right code or the right letters. Am I on the right track?

    ReplyDelete
  176. Stuck on 29 too, tried to combine colors - that didn't work

    ReplyDelete
  177. for 29, it's not exactly twister, and you are on the right track Puffin, you have 6 lines and 6 dials

    ReplyDelete
  178. For 29 there's some consistency for the colors for right hand, left hand etc. I've tried drawing it out, connecting dots but not getting very far.

    ReplyDelete
  179. Puffin, maybe the layout of the dials will help you see a code

    ReplyDelete
  180. Puffin for 29 think like someone who does not s**

    ReplyDelete
  181. Thanks Pichi & Donas, I was way off on what to use to decode.

    ReplyDelete
  182. Almost 400 comments, so new comments will be on the next page

    ReplyDelete
  183. I thought I made 30 but it leads to 30b!

    ReplyDelete
  184. Yikes, 30b is challenging. I know what some of these are but stumped on about half.
