  8. Clue from paper does not work on box on couch.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Wonder if the candy has something to do with the 4# on padlock

    ReplyDelete
  10. Dazz you can scroll to the papers, there is more than one paper per #

    ReplyDelete
  11. Who's good at math? Or has anybody found more clues to the #3 paper math puzzle?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Dazz where did you find the cany ?

    ReplyDelete
  13. What? A Neutral just after that marvellous Ichima? Is this Christmas morning and my calendar's wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Emmes, candies in drawer

    ReplyDelete
  15. Unknown, the clue on couch and pumpkin eyes are for the 3# code, note pumpkins eyes and the numbers in each ,but you must open the box to see the other pumpkin too

    ReplyDelete
  16. ugh, i can't figure out the shape math problem

    ReplyDelete
  17. Thx Dazz, the keylock fooled me....

    ReplyDelete
  18. Dazz, thanks. I meant the shape math.

I did the math and the answer is

    SPOILER
    square9
    circle2
    diamond0
    star8
    SPOILER

    ReplyDelete
  19. Thank s unknown, been entering the wrong digit for circle

    ReplyDelete
  20. Mirror text to get # in toilet. Phone is ringing, no answer.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Go back to first room when phone is ringing.Check couch.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Emmes, thanks for that shape math, I'd never had got that on my own. Just wanted to write I've found the papers underneath the couch too.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Don't come out of the toilet if you're not done or you'll have to solve the door again

    ReplyDelete
  24. What's the open that needs to be pushed and has anybody found a clue for the 3 letter box in the toilet?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Too much honor meritneith, it was Unknown who cracked it first. Got the letter clue from under the couch and don't know what to do with it. Anyone around who can read what the papers say ? Maybe we are missing some info.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Sorry, Unknown, didn't look up! I just have seen the maze near the bathroom door again, that must be the clue for the key word. Got to work it out.

    ReplyDelete
  27. The paper says

    SPOILERpush "open" ten timesSPOILER

Or at least that's how I read it, but the only open I see is in the box in the toilet and that does nothing

    ReplyDelete
  28. Unknown, the paper says something else first. ;-)

Got the cord from that box.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Push open ten times leaves EGA

    ReplyDelete
  30. Ah, ok, I had missed some crucial letters at the start of the maze :D
This is what the letter maze really says and now the box opens:

    SPOILERGEApush"open"tentimesSPOILER

    ReplyDelete
  31. The plugged in cord gave the hint for the trap door. Got the corkscrew now.

    ReplyDelete
  32. That old flashlight-without-battery thing again!

    ReplyDelete
  33. The corkscrew hides a secret !

    ReplyDelete
  34. Got torch, need battery.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I thought I maybe could get a battery from the phone. Needless to say it didn't work.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Thanks for your warning unknown, didn't realize I should open this10 times, not logical clue.
@meritneith: nobody has to be fast enough to solve puzzles

    ReplyDelete
  37. Dazz, that box thing is logical after reading the maze correctly. But that won't give us that damn battery.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I'm very bad at finding hidden hotspots to click, so I really hope the battery isn't one of those miniature hotspots that I only ever find with random luck.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I don't think it's hidden, no hotspots.
What's with the green broken cb?

    ReplyDelete
  40. I have some batteries here, just bought them on Saturday. :-/

    ReplyDelete
  41. Dazz, I first thought that grey thingy at the bottom right could be a battery but nada. It's part of the door lock.

    ReplyDelete
  42. The blue box has a very chunky lid too, but no hidden compartment.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I hope there's no hint from the clue papers needed and we starve due to language barrier.

    ReplyDelete
  44. How does the light give hint for the 4#?

    ReplyDelete
  45. And I could swear I've searched every pixel in the game. To the sides and upon every cupboard, checking boxes and lids again, trying to find new views (to the ceiling maybe), and so on.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Really annoying when you have to keep solving the door to enter the toilet

    ReplyDelete
  47. Dazz, just push the button a few times, and take a look at the dark letters.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Dazz,

plug it in and click the red button many times. The colors change and the blacked out letters give you the numbers

    ReplyDelete
  49. I must admit I have checked Youtube if there's a walkthrough. No.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Again many times? Thanks unknown!

    ReplyDelete
  51. I should have studied Japanese instead of Polish. *sigh*

    ReplyDelete
  52. the battery is outside the blue door.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Well then, why didn't you? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  54. WHAT? Outside the EXIT door???

    ReplyDelete
  55. Okay, you can lighten up the EXIT letters, not only the grid. Wuya, could you give us a hint how to open that door? Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Wonder if paper9 carries the hint

    ReplyDelete
  57. The papers #8 and #9 have the number 343 and the #8 paper talks about the blue box in the toilet, because there are the letters "A~G 7" on it.

Don't know if this has anything to do with solving the exit door thou.

    ReplyDelete
  58. This means we hadn't done anything with the card with letters yet

    ReplyDelete
  59. Why do some people always throw in a faint hint and then leave... So annoying.

    ReplyDelete
  60. But trying to make this out without talking Japanese is more than a lottery. I think we'll have to wait for another hint from Wuya.

    ReplyDelete
  61. The card with the letters was used to open the blue box in the bathroom.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Perhaps it has something to do with the blue stain... oh wait...

    ReplyDelete
  63. You have to get #10 and #11. They are in the closet.knock left corner of the door。(sorry, my English is very poor

    ReplyDelete
  64. Nope... thought you could drag that paper under the water in sink. But nada. Why can you zoom in on the sink anyway?

    ReplyDelete
  65. Maybe the mirror on top show the letter s in the toilet are mirrored for the phone code

    ReplyDelete
  66. Thank you so much Wuya!!! No problem, your English was good enough to save our souls!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Thanks Wuya. Stuck again, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Same here, Sarah. I have to leave for about twenty minutes, let's see if you have made progress when I'm back. Good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  69. Thx Wuya. Stuck again too. Last Neutral game hundreds of people got stuck for 3 days.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I actually have to leave too. I'll leave it to the brainiacs. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  71. The skull is probably gray and maybe the eye is yellow because the cat has yellow eyes? But what are the hand and the cat?

Any ideas what the calendar might be? There are some symbols in place of numbers on some months.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Hi, Slo-boy here...can someone help me get past the phone in the bathroom? Which way is it mirrored? And do you use all 8 #s or do the math? I can't find the answer.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Just 1: read numbers in bathroom from right to left, use all numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  74. And don't worry, you'll catch up quickly, a lot of "stuck" here and no "POPs".

    ReplyDelete
  75. Can someone read hint #12 ?

    ReplyDelete
  76. SPOILER ALERT:

    32139602

    ReplyDelete
  77. I think you can zoom in on the sink in the bathroom just so you can get the hint to mirror the numbers/letters on the opposite wall. When you zoom in on the sink, you can see a part of the number/letter combo on the mirror, but there's nothing else you can do in that view.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Thank you Emmes, I'd tried something very similar but I think I forgot to use 2s instead of 5s...sheesh!

    ReplyDelete
  79. stuck with everybody else and I may say I wouldn't have got this far without wonderful hints/spoilers

    ReplyDelete
  80. Could the candy be hint for the colors?

    ReplyDelete
  81. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Gotta leave, will be back

    ReplyDelete
  83. Light up E-X-T (TEX) on exit door, then make a T in blue on the grid

    ReplyDelete
  84. You are nearly there just1, in a mo you'll be stuck with us !

    ReplyDelete
  85. Did you guys get the closet open? You knock on bottom left, then click on the keyhole (don't know where was the hint for that, followed Wuya)

    ReplyDelete
  86. okay, got a flashlight that won't stay lit! Is that where you're stuck?

    ReplyDelete
  87. Just1, in hindsight the hit was probably that the sound is different when you click the bottom left corner than if you click the other parts of the closet. I only now turned on sound, so I didn't notice that earlier.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Yep just1 welcome to the club. I think we are missing some vital information from clue #12.

    ReplyDelete
  89. What? I'm back after half an hour and no progress? Good Jesus... ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  90. just1, the hint is from #9, 扉の左下を何回か蹴ってから

    ReplyDelete
  91. Remember last time meritneith ?

    ReplyDelete
  92. Wuya, can you read what is written on clue #12 ?

    ReplyDelete
  93. Oh yes, Emmes, in the first room we were heroes but then...

    ReplyDelete
  94. I'm trying. I just learn some Japanese.

    ReplyDelete
  95. To be honest: If this wasn't a Neutral I would have quit an hour ago. Something I haven't said so often: I hate games with an English title, or some English words or description when you are stuck at last with language barrier. They should make those games completely in Japanese design so we know it and can choose if we start or not.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Give it your best shot Wuya ! And meritneith, I agree, this is frustrating.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Silly me: I have refreshed the game instead of this page! Well, I don't think I miss too much until I've played again so far.

    ReplyDelete
  98. The P.S. may mean
The battery and key that I found in the room did not know how to use after all. Maybe it is dummy. The key I think it's a souvenir to take away.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Learning Japanese so I can find out what's on hint 12

    ReplyDelete
  100. Thx Wuya, hope that this will enlighten someone.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Back in da hood.

Dazz, you may be successful before we've got out. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  102. The #12 may mean

It will probably be in this last note.
It seems to have finally succeeded.

You can see the exit looked like lights in the hallway of the previous
I can't see well becose it's dark, but the cool breeze from the direction of the light.
It is sure to go outside

    ReplyDelete
  103. It does not seem very helpful……

    ReplyDelete
  104. Could someone post the Japanese sentence here? Doesn't work for me

    ReplyDelete
  105. Thought those candies might be for the colors code, of course I could be wrong

    ReplyDelete
  106. Well, just to fantasize: That note could be written by the person who fell into the gap. He thought battery and key were dummies and so it was dark. He couldn't see anything, just felt the air breeze. We know it wasn't safe. If he took the key as a souvenir it must be at the bottom of the gap (along with the corpse of... enough).

    ReplyDelete
  107. I think the gap will be closed by keeping the lever down. So we would have to hang something on it.

I bet all you smart people had those ideas too but well - I can't do anything else now.

    ReplyDelete
  108. I have switched-off the torch in every hall view to see if there was maybe a hidden clue somewhere, nada. I have also tried to use the torch almost everywhere in the other views, also nada. There are a few views we have not used: the broken wine bottle on the floor and the skull/candle on the CB. Need coffee.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Something strange: Why is the flashlight not on or off but it works in the dark hallway. Maybe we have to do some signals with it?

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  111. The Google translation is spooky, either in English or German...

I think the lever is meant by "tail".

Thanks so far Wuya? Without you we'd still search the battery.

    ReplyDelete
  112. It comes out a little differently in Babelfish ~

Would probably end of this notation by It seems finally succeeded to the phonebook Down the Hall looks like exit lights Dark located a look from the light breeze Bet you there blowing out I'm sure outside Finding in P. S. room key battery and gears they didn't after all. Just blank is if not. Gear car key I take, I would return.

Still not very helpful but I'm wondering what 'gear' refers to...

    ReplyDelete
  113. I got the hint from Japan Forum。
The number of month is the number of note, and the number in circle is the order of word. ex: January "2" means the second word in #1.

    ReplyDelete
  114. So I found the key now.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Maybe we should check the number of circles around numbers?

    ReplyDelete
  116. Wuya, what to the Japanese signs in some months of the calendar mean?

April, June, July, September and October.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Oh! So you got to help us again!

    ReplyDelete
  118. Thanks for posting Wuya

    ReplyDelete
  119. I need #10 and #11, but i do not know open de closet :_, Spolier Please.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Oh pish-tiffle. I can't even tell where the words begin and end on those notes! But that's a very clever clue, if you happen to read Japanese. I guess we have to wait for a full translation, and get out with a spoiler. Drat :(

    ReplyDelete
  121. Andres, keep clicking bottom left corner of the closet

    ReplyDelete
  122. Thx Wuya!
By following ur hint we can find the colors for each pic. Ex:
notes 1 2 and 3 give that "eyes" are "yellow".

    Each kana/kanji is a "word".

    ReplyDelete
  123. Andres, knock at the bottom left side of the closet door. If you hear a difference you can open the door, maybe you need some attempts.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Yep, this game's tough!

    ReplyDelete
  125. Thanks Wuya! Now I saw nini's hint

    ReplyDelete
  126. Nini, thanks, but the problem is that I for myself can't type these kana/kanji into a translation programme, and copy/paste doesn't work. Could you please spoiler the colours? Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  127. @Andres, tap 2 or 3 times on the bottom left of the closet (have sound on, you'll hear it), then click the keyhole.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Go Nini xD ! I don't know how many people are waiting for your translation to get out !

    ReplyDelete
  129. You're right, Emmes. I'm already producing Mexican waves with my left and my right arm. ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  130. I`m still on the 11th note now,. many kanjis I don`t know >_<

    ReplyDelete
  131. No problem, take your time.

(Okay, that was a little lie)

    ReplyDelete
  132. trying to help you Nini

    ReplyDelete
  133. Waving with you meritneith. What a surprise would it be to get to the light only to find out there is another room.....but please please no garden !

    ReplyDelete
  134. Eyes are yellow
    Hand and bones are red
    Cat is green

    ReplyDelete
  135. No please Emmes! We just want to get outta here

    ReplyDelete
  136. I think cat would be green or red, not sure

    ReplyDelete
  137. You are a heeerrrrrrooooooooooo Nini xD! Thx !!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  138. Hooooooooraaaaay! It worked! Going to the next unsolvable riddle!

    Thanks thanks thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  139. Yey!! The key finally hahaha
Thx Wuya for the calendar hint! I just needed that one ;P

    ReplyDelete
  140. Oh - that was a quick end now!

    ReplyDelete
  141. Thanks guys!

    ReplyDelete
  142. Thx to all for the hints and to Wuya and Nini xD to help us across the language barrier. See you all next time.

    ReplyDelete
  143. So. Well. What do I say now.

First: Thank all you lovely people for your help and your staying to my side for the last hours.

Then: Okay, it was a Neutral. But I can't help myself, I'm quite disappointed. They have proved in the past they can do better, that means without that huge language barrier? Why did they even tell us a happy Helloween at the end in English?

The Ichima game this same morning was far far better.

    Enjoyed your company nonetheless!

    ReplyDelete
  144. So what were the bottles and the candies for?

    ReplyDelete
  145. Not fun game having to pass all these Japanese, solving puzzles every time and including useless items which we have no idea why we could zoom in on them, and yeah, ichima, tesshie and no. 1 games are far better and more fun, thanks everyone for your help

    ReplyDelete
  146. GAHHH! Wanted to have a bigger screen by running the .swf directly ( /room/file/wroom.swf ) and all I get is a warning in Japanese that I should not do that!!

    ReplyDelete
  147. Arby, if you start now: The size of the screen is the smallest problem...

    ReplyDelete
  148. What is this, Japanese 101?

    ReplyDelete
  149. @meritneith You're telling me! =)
Well, the math puzzle was really a challenge (loved it tho), but I wanted to solve it myself..and I did...

    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    MATH SPOILER
(for those wanting to know why this number is that, instead of copy-pasting the code from a nice fellow player ;))

    1. First of all, let's get rid of all these stupid symbols...
Filled star is a 3, given away on the bottom.

    (I)
    ...a b c b
    + ...a b d e
    --------------
    c c 3 f g

    a.) OK, even if c was 9, it would require us a 4 (!) carry to get to 22. That's why c must be 1 :

    (II)
    ...a b 1 b
    + ...a b d e
    --------------
    1 1 3 f g

    b.) Hmm...2a = 11 has no solution in integer numbers. That's why we must have a carry in there, so 2a + 1 = 11. a = 5!
Wait...why not kill 2 birds with 1 stone?
    Same again: no solution for 2b = 13 in integer numbers, so we have another carry and it's actually 2b + 1 = 13, thus b = 6!

    (III)
    ......5 6 1 6
    +....5 6 d e
    .......¹ ¹
    --------------
    1 1 3 f g

Hah, this looks way better now.
First of all, we should CROSS OUT all the figures which are taken:
    1, 3, 5, 6
So the last 5 have to be one of 0, 2, 4, 7, 8, 9 ... AND ... note that two of them will be left unused throughout the math problem!

d is the easiest to figure out next.
    If d was 8, f would be 9 and there would be NO CARRY. However, since there is already a carry ( 6 + 6 + 1 = 13), d must be greater than 8: d = 9
Hey this indicates that f is zero: f = 0

    (IV)
    ......5 6 1 6
    +....5 6 9 e
    .......¹ ¹
    -----------------
    1 1 3 0 g

    Left figures: 2, 4, 7 and 8 .
Left unknown variables: e and g.

    Remember: 9 + 1 + (no carry) = 10 = O. K.

So e will rule out every number greater or equal than 4, so it must be 2: e = 2.

This makes g = 8 and the problem is solved!

The assignment of the symbols is on you now. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  150. ERRATA
    -----------

At a), it should read a.) OK, even if a was 9...

    ReplyDelete
  151. Always nice to wake up to Neutral....time to put on my big boy pants

    ReplyDelete
  152. 1) Arby, I made it to your step II, then I stared at my paper like a moron.

    2) I'd like to see brett's pants. If he can make it on his own, you'll probably can wrap Chufu's pyramid into them.

    ReplyDelete
  153. meritneith: It's a pity. Wish you had surmounted that obstacle past (II).

(I chose the "...pity" wording instead of "Too bad" here. Though it might mean the same, the former wording shows a bit of compassion, whilst the latter rather sounds to me like a sarcastic "Shrugs. Totally arousing my concern. Huh." ;))

HUGE THANKS to Wuyu and Nini for saving our butts again!
And Wuyu..., hey, a new name, so may you have a warm welcome to the party :)
And remember: The quality of English doesn't matter to us, if the hints are so incredibly helpful as yours were. So sit comfortably, will you. :)

Ah yes, and Neutral really can do better than forcing players into word-counting from clue papers.
    Feels like 80s again...

    COPY PROTECTION
Please insert word 19 from line 52 on page 244 of your manual.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Thanks Wuya and Nini xD for the calendar hint! Besides the color, it also mention "最後にれば" (last at lever) for the last action.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Well, this was not a good one for me. Good to see all the effort, but i was lost. Maybe next time

    ReplyDelete
  156. Thank you Wuya and Nini, as others said. The puzzles were awesome, until that last one ...

And I'm not too sure about the way the wardrobe had to be opened. So thanks Wuya for that one as well.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Sorry, what I meant to say is :
The puzzles were awesome = I enjoyed them.
Until that last one = unfortunately I don't read Japanese. I didn't mean it was a bad one.
All hints are here, I guess. But to put it all in the correct order, a WT will follow.

    ReplyDelete
  158. WALKTHROUGH

On the couch is paper 1. Take it. See the clue on the couch.
It refers to the eyes of the 3 pumpkins in this room.
There's one in the purple box on the couch. Take the second paper at the right side of the blue door. It shows the hint on how to open that box.

Click the pumpkins, get the numbers and do the math.
Use the outcome on the painting above the couch = another set of papers. Click through them to see a math-puzzle.

Arby explained it of course, but this is a WT, so ...

    One number is given: black-star-3.

Each shape is a number from 0 to 9.

The outcome of the two black squares has to lead to that given 3.
That can only happen if adding the black squares is a higher number than 10, cause 1+1 is not ..3, well you get it. The outcome has to be (1)3.

That can only be with 6 + 6 + (1) as a leftover from the sum black diamond + open square.

That leads to the (1) + the black circles. Adding those circles + the leftover (1) leads to a number (black diamonds) that contains two the same numbers.
Between 10 and 20 that can only be 11. Agreed?

    So far we have:
    ..5..6..1..6
    ..5..6..?..? +
    _________
    11..3..?..?

The numbers that have not been used are 2, 4, 7, 8, 9.

To get to (1)3 the black diamond 1 + the open square also have to be (1)0 or more.
There's only one number that can be added to 1 to get to ten ... 9.
    So, open square = 9.

    We have:
    ..5..6..1..6
    ..5..6..9..? +
    _________
    11..3..0..?

Adding the last numbers on the right don't lead to 10 or more.
    We only have 2, 4, 7, 8 left.
    6 + 2 = 8 is the last possibility.

I hope this explanation is clear.

The found numbers on the open shapes will open the door to the bathroom. Zooming out of an opened door/box and wanting to go in again means you have to put in the numbers or use the clue again.

Go into the bathroom, zoom in on the mirror. Look ... a 02 can be seen.
Zoom out, and focus on the paper on the right wall. The letters have to be mirrored to get the telephone number (phone is next to plant).
If you don't see it, write the clue down on paper, turn it and hold it to the light.

Leave the bathroom and start looking for the signal in the room.
Aah, another set of papers. Click through it.
The hint for the path through these letters is left of the bathroom door, on the wall.
    Using that clue, it starts with ... G E A .. P U S H " O P E N .. etc.

In the bathroom, do what the paper says on the blue box = electr. cord.
Connect the cord to the socket, left of the couch = the letter-board works now.
The clue given here will be used on the lock on the ground.

Click the red button till all four colours are used.
I think this is a great puzzle. Per colour, take the black letters and anagram them to numbers.
For instance, when the letters turn red, the black letters show 'owt'. this is two (2).

Take a green key out of the green corkscrew. this key opens the green door-half on the left = flashlight.

Thanks to Wuya for how to open the wardrobe ... click all over the door, there's a different sound down left. Click it, click the handle. Do this a couple of times, or click down left a couple of times, cause once is not enough and tadaa = more papers and a clue for the blue door.

Three letters white, the blue T on the grid. Go into the hallway.
On the left = battery. Click the flashlight on, keep it 'in use' in the inventory and walk around.

Footsteps .... handles on the right .... 4 frames on the left.
Click red button to see four shapes. What colour does each shape have?

Thanks to Wuya again and to NinixD and Tautau for giving the way + the solution.
You have to combine the 12 papers we got with the 12 calendar months and the Japanese numbers on the months.

    Spoiler:
    cat=green,hand=red,eye=yellow,skull=red.

Now zoom out and push the handles down.
..... Listen ... and zoom in. There it is.

Spoiler purple box on the couch:
    left right up down up.

  159. The numbers that have not been used are 2, 4, 7, 8, 9
    *bzzt* WRONG! =D
Which happens as usual if people copy-paste hint sheets.

    The numbers that have not been used are 0, 2, 4, 7, 8, 9

Thanks for the credit Arrie, but is there any reason why you left out the zero?
Be generous, will you. Even though that zero has a nil value, it has a right to exist after all. :-P

  160. LOL, arby, hmmm, thank you for reading and thank you for pointing out the importance of the 0.
Yep, can't do a good calculation without it, can we ??!

Btw, I don't know where a hint sheet is in this game? I made the mistake aaaaaaallll by myself !

  161. Good thing to see you got the humor hidden inside :D

It's not about "calculation". It's because readers can't see that my original explanation of the math stuff is my SECOND approach in reality. The first was without the zero, and I got nowhere. Nearly 10 minutes I'll never get back ;-)

  162. P.S. yes I was confusing, sorry bout that. What I meant with "hint sheet" was my original post where I explained how to obtain the figures for the symbols.

  163. Sorry for posting this 3 years late, but if anyone is still playing this, I can post a literal translation of the notes (since I'm actually learning Japanese myself) along with how the notes relate to the hint at the end. The context is that someone else was also locked in the same room before you and he made notes presumably so that the next guy may see it.

You might want to progress through the game first and then refer back to here once you get the corresponding note.

#1: I dreamt that I was in the middle of nowhere being chased by a huge pink broccoli monster. The next thing I knew I woke up locked inside this strange room (目means eye).

There are no windows in this room. The two doors are locked, and likewise the furniture is locked in place too.

I don't know what happened when I was out, but I found a red colour pencil and some papers on the floor, so for now I think I'm gonna try and take notes as I try and escape this room.

#2: I found a strange note. (Note says: "You are somehow locked in this room. Find items and solve puzzle to escape from this place.")

Is that it? I'm playing a room-escape game in real life?

Well, not that I hate solving riddles and puzzles, but I can't comprehend how I got in here when that note says 'somehow'.

I want to believe that I did not get locked in here simply because 'I am somehow locked in this room'.

Nonetheless, I used the hint on that note and managed to open the box on the sofa.

    So that's it.

#3: I got a yellow note from that box (黄色 means yellow, 手 means hand).

It seems like it's a mathematical riddle where numbers are denoted by shapes instead. I haven't solved the riddle, but Star = 3 looks like a hint.

I also found that some of the shapes resemble those on the door to the toilet. Does that mean I can open that door if I solve this riddle?

#4: Haven't solved the riddle. So hungry that I can't even think.

Luckily, I found a few bottles of water at the bottom drawer, so I don't have to worry about dying of thirst. For now.

But I still want something to EAT.

#5: I found a key under the skull on the dresser (骸骨 means skull or skeleton) and used it to unlock the middle drawer.

There's a lot of candies with strange, fancy colours.

Aside from that this seems to be a strange place to store these candies in. Wonder if it's fine if I eat some of them...?

    Next page: MY STOMACH HURTS!!!

Scrawling on the bathroom wall: I kept thinking that I screwed up as I unloaded my diarrhoea. There's definitely something wrote with those candies. They were a little bit soggy too.

I don't even want to imagine what would happen had I not quickly solved that riddle.

(I don't exactly know what the last line says but it's not really important.)

  164. #6: Took a nap on the sofa. Now I feel so refreshed. Alright, let's do this!

From the flashlight on my phone I found a strange gear-shaped key under the sofa. It doesn't seem to fit into any keyhole.

    What's this then?

#7: I found a wine bottle that seems to contain some sort of reddish-black liquid (赤 means red, 黒 means black) that I assume to be some sort of wine. It's sealed with a cork, and there seems to be something at the bottom of the wine.

The corkscrew is under the grating on the floor. I don't know the passcode to open it.

    I wanna go home!

    #8: I think I heard a cat meowing somewhere (猫 means cat).

Also, I found another note. I have no clue what it says. And I'm getting tired.

Hold on..... let's look at the bright side.....

There's a blue box in the toilet that's locked. There are 3 dials and each can be set from A-G. The combination could be anywhere from AAA to GGG. Do I really need to try all 343 combos?

    #9: MY FINGERS HURT.

Tried all 343 combos. None worked.

Can't open the box. Can't get the corkscrew. Screw this, I'll just smash open this wine bottle then.

Not the wisest thing I could come up with but hey, I got a key from inside the bottle!

I used the key to unlock the closet, but I couldn't get the closet door to open.

It looked like shoddy construction so I tried to give it a few knocks and bangs to see if it would open.

After a few kicks at the bottom-left corner of the door, I pulled on the handle and got it to open.

Got a battery from inside the closet.

Unintelligible scrawling: I wanna go home I wanna go home I wanna go home I wanna go home I wanna go home I wanna go home......

#10: I can't find a key anywhere that unlocks the little green cupboard beside the toilet, so I punched on it (緑 means green).

My fists hurt, but I managed to punch a hole into it and got a grey note.

Wait, isn't this the hint to opening the blue door? I might just be able to escape!

#11: Finally opened the blue door! If that's the last riddle I had to solve then I'm outta here! (最後 means last or final, れば means lever)

#12: This will probably be my last note. I finally managed to escape this room!

I can see a light at the end of this corridor. It's pretty dark in here and I can't see a thing, but I can feel a breeze coming from the light. That must be the exit for sure.

    I'M GONNA GO HOME!

PS: I don't know where or how the battery and the gear-shaped key were supposed to be used. Might just be random props or something. I think I'm gonna take the key as a souvenir from this place to keep.

(Welp, we all know what happens next. Poor guy fell into a hole and probably died.)
