    ReplyDelete
  17. That is where I am stuck to!

    ReplyDelete
  18. The flags and stamps on painting not sure what to do!

    ReplyDelete
  19. blue/red flag goes far left, then you can take it

    ReplyDelete
  20. man, that bunny is a buzzkill.

    ReplyDelete
  21. they go with the two flags, maybe we need more

    ReplyDelete
  22. on each string of flags, put the movable ones in the proper order(think colors). if done correctly, one pennant will come loose. collect the pennants and put them on the remaining one correctly for a "prize".

    ReplyDelete
  23. Brett I'm not following? there has to be some sort of order for them but I just can't figure it out

    ReplyDelete
  24. Can't get order for flags above parents have tried every combination I can think of.

    ReplyDelete
  25. yes jack....one is a math riddle, one count the stripes/#'s put them in order, the other is shapes from left to right...if u get it right u can take them and add them to the two flag set

    ReplyDelete
  26. I think the mouse trap is a puzzle as well...anyone get it yet?

    ReplyDelete
  27. how do you count dots and star?

    ReplyDelete
  28. thanks brett, sorry i wasn't clearer.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Just figured it out. Now i've got the bolt placed it and stuck again

    ReplyDelete
  30. for the set that starts with a star, the star represents the number one...what represents 2?, 3? and so on.

for the picture set, on the left, what is the color of the last flag?...follow it with a flag that starts with that color and so on.

the math equation is pretty simple...what times what equals what?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Use boiling water on snow for 2nd battery.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Thought the chewed gum was to hold down mouse trap. And what do I do with creepy cat.

    ReplyDelete
  33. bolt, batteries, coin are for your bday gift.
clock, too, but I haven't solved that.

    ReplyDelete
  34. forgot about that little machine

    ReplyDelete
  35. this cake is driving me nvts

    ReplyDelete
  36. Bolt on the present you opened

    ReplyDelete
  37. the little machine has a time code on one of the panels, but i can't get the clock and panel to match up.

    ReplyDelete
  38. gas tube and wire, too. Missing 2 things for the machine.

Tried to get the cat to lick the stamp. Not sure if I succeeded -- sound keeps turning off.

    ReplyDelete
  39. brett, it won't be tidy...you have 9 candles and can only cut the cake 4 times AND you have to do it in such a fashion that there is only one candle per segment...so shoot for the middle candle being in its on little space made by the four cuts you make.

    ReplyDelete
  40. that would be its "own" little space.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I NEED HELP WITH THE CAKE:PPPPPPPP

    ReplyDelete
  42. Ugg I know Cate...just one of the puzzles i am not seeing...ill keep at it

    ReplyDelete
  43. kind of cut diagonally across the cake, but not necessarily in equal portions.

    ReplyDelete
  44. rabbit breaks the window for glass piece.

    ReplyDelete
  45. by the by, has anyone noticed that the stamps background matches parts of the picture they are on? or is it that obvious and i just now got it? matched them up to the scenery, but nothing happened.

    ReplyDelete
  46. All I need is the clock? Anyone got a clue?

    ReplyDelete
  47. If you look at the card with shapes it gives you a code but not sure where to use yet.

    ReplyDelete
  48. brett, i started on the right upper side and cut across diagonally below the middle candle...worked my way to the left and if i remember correctly, the two left cuts were more up and down.

    ReplyDelete
  49. The stamps align with numbers!

    ReplyDelete
  50. phin phan, take the two stamps off of that card...the front is the order code for the four stamps...put them on the picture in their matching spots(note the stamp background)...we probably will have to use those numbers for some puzzle down the pike.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Use the gum to catch the fly then bait trap.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Cate, the clock for the stamps, I believe. But I only have 3 stamps. Where'd the arrow-like one come from?

    ReplyDelete
  53. Why cant I stop the doorbell from ringing. I had to mute the game.

    ReplyDelete
  54. BOOM! Thanks for the fly hint, Phin.

    ReplyDelete
  55. You have to answer the door to proceed.

    ReplyDelete
  56. expat, i believe that was the one on the birthday card from mr. owl...if not, it was the one that granpa was sitting on...while he is dancing, take a peek at his chair.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Was easy after the fly and trap.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Had to look through peep hole

    ReplyDelete
  59. Nyokie look out the peep hole

    ReplyDelete
  64. I cannot believe Im still on this game. Where do I fond piece of glass for machine?

    ReplyDelete
  65. Ive even tried to take grandpas glasses off his dead head!

    ReplyDelete
  66. How do you give that man a piece of cake?

    ReplyDelete
  67. Its like those slicing games you play on your phone.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Just wanted to say....great game and thanks to the devs

    ReplyDelete
  69. Brett Johnson, I'm with you. I NEED HELP WITH THE CAKE!

    ReplyDelete
  70. johnny pace, you have to cut 4 lines from one side to the other. each candle has to be by itself in a segment...not all segments are triangular in shape...the center candle will be in a segment created by the other lines crossing over. start on the upper right and cut diagonally. as you head towards the left, i think the last two are cut kind of up and down.

    ReplyDelete
  71. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Cutting the cake I just made two horizontal lines and two vertical - each between the candles.

I'm out, it was a nice game, but I wish there wouldn't be any lag, mostly the games work well but sometimes some of the are just slow, I was still able to finish and it was worth it.
Thanks for the game and I hope to play more of these games soon!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Cate the clock comes after you make the device on the table work. If by the gift you mean that device - you might need a piece of glass which you get by making a drawing (look on walls for hint) in the window

    ReplyDelete
  74. thank you jas...had tried making a little drawing earlier, but i apparently didn't make it big enough the first go round...thanks again.

great game as always. love me some rusty lake!

    ReplyDelete
  75. lord, I love these games! I've been very tempted to purchase Rusty Lake Hotel - I may do it yet, but I don't know how I'd ever get through it without help. Anyone interested?

    ReplyDelete
  76. Thanks NYOkie for hint about the star flag. I kept on thinking it was 5. Out after that. Another amazing rusty lake game .

    ReplyDelete
  77. i don't have a balloon, how do you find the balloon?

    ReplyDelete
  78. This was a little creepy: the needle in the cake, the killings.

    ReplyDelete
  79. is anyone still here? I'm so stuck. how do draw on window? I suppose a tree? where do you get the other stamps, what to boil water in... please, one more little hint...

    ReplyDelete
  80. OK just got everyone killed if you can call that progress....

    ReplyDelete
  81. still missing coin but I guess I'm too late... oh well. great game though

    ReplyDelete
  82. Somebody mentioned gas tube for machine, where is that. Also can't find a fly anymore, it dissapeared after I opened uppers cb near fridge; and also looking for key for lower cb.

@uzi: if you are still here, you "draw" on window after everybody is killed, just like you do in a car, when you can't see out, until the rabbit reappears again and smash the window.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Gas tube is in the stove (fire it when it's already broken), fly is on the sink

    ReplyDelete
  84. I can't get the stamps on the picture. Do they go in the same order as the card? If not, how do they line up with the numbers?

    ReplyDelete
  85. i can't figure out those darn stamps either

    ReplyDelete
  86. zoe, the stamps line up with parts of the painting...look at their backgrounds and match them to their places on the picture ie the mountains, stars and such.

    ReplyDelete
  87. the numbers that they match up with gives the date code for the snowball.

    ReplyDelete
  88. oh. i thought the picture was suppose to do something. I have numbers but where do i put them?
    snowball box?

    ReplyDelete
  89. @bondslave, yes. once you have the stamps placed on the painting properly, they line up with 4 numbers...the order is on the front of the postcard. plug those into the snowglobe.

    ReplyDelete
  90. ok makes sense after I found key to cupboard lol don't think i have numbers right cause globe does nothing

    ReplyDelete
  91. Thank you Cate! It's the code for the snow globe. All clear after that. I'm out.

    ReplyDelete
  92. phew.finally got that darn pic and snowglobe. Now what? have the clock, place it, have no idea what to do next

    ReplyDelete
  93. Globe code is (spoiler)

    1966

    ReplyDelete
  94. bondslave...do you have everything for the machine? Check the meter on the machine...when it reaches red, you have everything. Get a coin from a box that's on a table.

    ReplyDelete
  95. still stuck in this place. lol have knife matches and sd. what am i missing?

    ReplyDelete
  96. I do wish the sound didn't keep going off. I didn't hear the doorbell for a long time...

    ReplyDelete
  97. Darn...it won't let me replay.

Did you get the blue cube yet, bondslave?

    ReplyDelete
  98. Gotta go...but there's a vid WT on Youtube now...

    ReplyDelete
  99. @bondslave where was the bolt? I am where you got stuck. Did snow globe, but the machine's indicator is not quite in the red. I think I am missing the bolt.

    ReplyDelete
  100. my gosh what a wonderful game!!

    ReplyDelete
  101. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  102. put all flags next to window and there will be bolt.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Oh that was beyond weird. Thanks Zoe - did have to watch parts of the walkthrough. Guess my thinking isn't that convoluted enough

    ReplyDelete
  104. Ihave the coin, the glass shard, the red wire and the gas tube all inserted in the greenish machine. There's only one "slot" left empty, the one with the clock symbol on it. Anyone would be as kind as giving me a hint (not the plain solution, just a hint) as to what I'm supposed to do? Find something in the clock that goes in that slot - presumably by opening the small hatch on the clock (which reveals an apparently empty space behind it)?

    ReplyDelete
  105. (I also have the two batteries and the screw inserted in the machine)

    ReplyDelete
  106. Have you opened the bottom cupboard yet? Think of what to do with the chewing gum and fly

    ReplyDelete
  107. OK, never mind, POP... found the watch.

    ReplyDelete
  108. I have all the stuff for the machine but the needle's not quite in the red...do I need to do something with the coin? Nothing is happening...help!

    ReplyDelete
  109. I have all the stuff for the machine but the needle's not quite in the red...do I need to do something with the coin? Nothing is happening...help!

    ReplyDelete
  110. Has anyone tried the code from rusty lake hotel in the globe? Its a conclusion to the hotel story

    ReplyDelete
  111. Patricia, you also need to put the coin on the box's front panel

    ReplyDelete
  112. I put the kettle on the wrong eye of the stove and it won't boil. I found this out by looking at the w/t finally, because it was on the left burner in the video. I put it on the right and it will not boil. Rats!!!

    ReplyDelete
  113. Nope the problem was that I didn't use the matches after turning on the burner!! Oops. Fantastic game!!!

    ReplyDelete
  114. cube serie so good, but not better yet than neutral serie

  115. WALKTHROUGH
Click and watch, the elevator, the cube.

    mom and dad
    Talk to them.
    Pop the balloon.
Open the present on the table = apparatus.
The flags can be dragged to a different position, in this case 1 (star) on the left, then 2 (pink lines), 3 (blue lines), 4 (dots), 5 (yellow lines), 6 … take a flag.

    go right – kitchen
Put the flag on the line.
    Take the balloon.
    Behind the curtains : matchbox.
Fill the balloon with water, put it in the fridge
….. take some ice out of the balloon.
Look through the window, someone is watching.

    go right –door
Inside drawers : screwdriver and knife.
Take gum off the turning table, a needle is missing.
Use sd on the switch left of the door, take the cable.
Waste some time with the cubes on the theatre, you have to put 3 the same looking cubes on top of each other; click the poster again .. a record dropped on the floor, take it.
Do as mom said : check the mailbox, a letter drops.
    Here too, put the flags in a logical order : blue/red, red/star, star/red/blue, blue/ye-green blocks, ye-greenblock/green, gr/ye, take a flag.

    go right –grandpa
Take gin out of the small cabinet.
Talk to grandpa, pour him a glass, fill it with ice.
    Hmm, he’s not happy yet.

    ReplyDelete
  116. mom and dad
Use knife on the birthday cake, cut vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines,
    take a piece.
Dad loves it … but … there’s a needle inside!
Don’t worry : the red you see is strawberry-sauce.
Give gum to mom, let her blow a bubble, use knife or sd (perhaps needle will work as well) to break it, take the gum.
    (The telephone rings, go listen).
Take the letter from the floor, a very pleasant message in there 
    Take off the stamp.
(The telephone keeps ringing with the same message).

    grandpa.
    The flag decoration : do the math : 3 x 4 = 12, take a flag.
    (Very good, 4 x 3 works also).

    door
Put the record on the turning table, put the needle on, and on the record, turn the handle.

    grandpa
dancing grandpa, take the stamp from the chair

Go to mom and dad …. singing …. ding dong …
The only one not saying anything about it is grandpa.

    door
Look through the spy-glass in the door :
    mr rabbit.
Zoom out and watch … o dear … what happened??

    ReplyDelete

  117. grandpa
A battery in the fallen plant.
A key in the broken vase.

    mom and dad
A paper in the chest on the table.
Close the chest, take the coin off the lid.
Zoom in on dad, take the card that’s in his jacket.
Observe it, turn it, take two stamps.
Put the stamps on the correct place on the Van Gogh, look at what numbers they are
The card shows the order of the symbols/numbers.

    kitchen
Use key on top cupboard door (don’t zoom in), take kettle.
Fill kettle with water, use matches to light the left stove … BANG, take a gastube.
    Put kettle on the fire.
The steam fills the window, zoom in and mouse over it to get a clear view.
    (Nothing happens yet).
    Take the boiling water.
Zoom in on the tap, put the gum on its left corner, the fly flies away.
Zoom out, sometimes in out a bit to hear the fly. Watch him land on the gum.
    Zoom in, take the fly

    door
Pour out the water on the footsteps, a welcome mat appears, below it a second battery.

    grandpa
Put the fly on the mousetrap
Walk around once or twice and zoom in again … eh … of course, a fish appeared 
Feed it to kitty, click it to push it in.
In kitty’s poop is a key for cupboard next to the fridge.

    kitchen
Open the cupboard, on the snowball is the building you see on the card.
Follow the order of the symbols as the card shows and fill in the numbers from the Van Gogh
    (1966).
    Shake the snowball.
Listen to the guy there spill out his wisdom, take the clock.
Put all the flags on the line here, cut it with the knife, take the bolt.

    ReplyDelete
  118. mom and dad.
Put the clock on the apparatus down right.
Put the bolt on it as well, above it.
Put in the batteries, up left.
The cable left and the gastube on the right.
    Place the coin.
One place is still empty .. back to the kitchen.

I’m replaying but I can’t get that dumb rabbit to break the glass window in the kitchen!
Walked the rooms twice now, lol, no sign of that creature.
Ahaaaa, thank you Uzi2011! You have to draw a tree. Of course, the picture.
I must have been very lucky the first time around, seem to have drawn a tree without knowing I did.

But, there he is. The glass breaks, take the top piece.

    Place it on the apparatus.
Click the lighted lid a couple of times and say : thank you for the cube

    grandpa
Put the cube in the clock.

Zoom out, click the clock, it goes back in time.
Talk to grandpa, take the coin, open the chest.
A gun … (oh, I can feel something coming …).
About item the gun, talk to mom and dad, then give it to grandpa.

    Back to mom and dad.
    The doorbell rings …
Take a look, zoom out, watch.

Let the characters talk, then walk out, to mr Rabbit.
Click him a couple of times.
The painting inside showed a blossoming tree, there it comes.
click the cube again and again and the elevator closes.
