    ReplyDelete
  60. Hi all, just follow the lines round of the white parts from up to down, it is drawing 3 numbers. For first start where the circle is etc

  78. There must be a way to get downstairs. The map shows a question mark at the end so i am thinking there must be a secret

    ReplyDelete
  79. Think that might be for the next game - Room Escape 6

    ReplyDelete
  80. Can't figure out the 4-color bars on the box... any hints?

    ReplyDelete
  81. Never mind... missed that hint!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Close the curtains to see the 4 colour hint.

    ReplyDelete
  83. As usual, everyone off and away racing through things with no hints for us latecomers.... As I don't understand Japanese(?), managed to find a key under the bottom left corner of the left curtain and a coin on the floor in front of the closet opposite the window. Opened closet door opposite boxes with key and looked at red book but the "RRLR RLRR" clue given by Janet above doesn't work on green box on 2nd shelf in closet, despite hitting Reset button or backing out and coming back in, so no access to whatever is inside green box. Can't open window; can't look at railing; can't open doors opposite window; can't open glass door in closet; only red book is accessible (not one yellow book that I can see). So, there I am - stuck. After 100+ comments, I figured I'd either see a walkthrough or more substantial comments with meaning rather than random here-and-there "I found this", "you have to push this" type comments. May try this again tomorrow, but not having any fun with it today.... Sorry! (Won't rate game until I actually make my way through it.)

  84. Haha:
half a minute into the game: a coin and nothing else.

5 minutes into the game: a coin and nothing else :)

  85. Dean, there were three books in the bookcase. The only thing I can think of is that you may have needed to examine the book to see the clue and then zoom in on the boxes with the cat faces. Though Black Dusseldorf also had a problem with the R/L and it took a few tries to enter it

    ReplyDelete
  86. Bio, close the curtains and then lift up the lower left corner of the left curtain to get a key

    ReplyDelete
  87. Dean this use to be a helpful site, now it's full of people saying things like "I found this", "where is the knife? Never mind I found it". If u ask a question and it's been answered earlier, rather then tell u they will go to the trouble of searching the comments and say " read Fred's comment at 11.32am" because they think you're annoying. Help? they're too busy patting themselves and each other on the back.

  88. After collecting the key from the left curtain, unlock cupboard and open red book. Look at the cat box hint, 1st is an arrow going down, 2nd is going up. Go to the cat boxes and starting at the top look at how the boxes are positioned. Some are shifted to the right and some the left. Note positions going down and then up.Open the green book in the cupboard and input L/R code, take key and use it on the window. Get scissors and open red book again and on the scissors page cut the page the scissors point to. Take blue card and click "About Item" you'll see 3 pictures and on the back math. Go to window and click the rail to look over at the items. do the math for each item to get 3 numbers. Go back to cupboard and swipe card and input code.
Take wood plank, go to window and on the right place it to the next balcony.

  90. Yep, I had no trouble understanding the initial cat boxes clue however it would not work even with the correct input. Much like Dean G, I put it in repeatedly -- look at book, look at stacks, enter: nothing. Enter, hit reset, enter: nothing. And so on for every different way I could think of to enter the correct code. Finally I entered it multiple times without hitting the reset button and it worked. Glitch, plain and simple.

A good game but way too much pixel hunting (the drawer in the 2nd room for 'deep' view, the side/back of the ghost ladder, etc.). But at least the developer had the mouseover change to a hand on hot spots.
