ReplyDeleteAfter draining the pool going down the ladder there are some symbols on the wall. If you cut them in half it translates to 8947.

Roberto, after you have seen the hint on the wall in the study, go to the shelf where you found the symbol in the white book. Go two shelves up and 5 books to the right. then look at page 14.

ReplyDeletebrin3m : hit : place and value are right, blow : only value is right. ie if the number is 1234, and the number you test is 1340 then 1 is at the right place, 3 and 4 are true but at the wrong place, zero is wrong. you have to compare different raws of numbers.
ReplyDeleteOkay got the box in the garden - thanks Hotz - and last crown. placed four spheres and got the last dial for the water mechanism. But now I need to water the tree and I can't take my bowl back and get out of the storage room. Can't take any of the spheres back either to put in place of the bowl I need. Also there's a box in the courtyard across the water that I don't think I ever got to - or if I did I don't remember how or what it contained. Goodness this is a monster but I love it.

Wow is all I can say, HUGE KUDOS to you sir/madam for crafting an excellent game, one that shows a lot of time and effort and care. A game one could be *proud* to put one's name on. Bravo!

- the hint above Cross-Gargoyle show one big blue (9), 2 small pink (1 & 1) and 1 middle blue square (6)
- solution: 9116
HIT & BLOW:
- if you know the board game "mastermind": it's the same principle
- "hit" means there is a correct number on the correct spot.
- "blow" means there is a correct number on a wrong spot.
- according to the paper 8901 has 2 correct numbers on 2 correct spots and 4902 has 3 correct numbers on 3 correct spots
- so, we know that x90x must be correct and there is no 8 or 1 in the solution
- from looking at 0563 we now know that 5,6 & 3 can't be in solution
- from 0123 we now know that only 0&2 are "blows"
- now we know x902 and from 4567 = (0-1) it has to be:
- 7902
VALVES:
- click right and left valve 5x
DIRECTIONS OF GARYGOYLES:
down, left, right, up
WOODEN BOX:
- the 4 symbols show the order on the grid. The grid itself has to be compared with book in library. Solution: 4573
SEQUENCE B:
- the hint says: 7¡32¡¡49¡
- combined with the page from book in library, you would have to press the buttons like that (if it would be a "normal" keypad from 1-9
- 9¡14¡¡23¡ (remember that ¡ means to pull the lever)

ReplyDeleteI feel like I felt about Neutral's Elements last year: much of the year is still to come, yet I think it takes some pretty special effort to throw this game off the Game of The Year throne...
I see I can go back to almost to the end after I beat the game, which makes me thing there's at least another ending...
Emmes, once you go out on a Friday evening to meet some friends you'll miss such a gem live! What can I say, wonderful and not worse than any Neutral game. It was worth waiting almost a year, yet I hope we won't have to wait so long again.
