ReplyDeleteI'm still not getting the B-code. In the book, 7 is the lower right, so I press:

And nothing happens.
Casual's walkthrough says that's right, but it doesn't seem to be.
And yes, the lever at the top is to the left (B side).
ReplyDelete@puzzled: I'm sorry, but I just replayed using my own WT and the only errors I noticed where some typos and minor go/left confusions...
ReplyDeleteSorry, I wasn't criticizing your walkthrough, I'm just, well, puzzled. I did the sequence as you describe it several times before you posted your WT, then I tried it as you posted it just to be sure. Still doesn't work.

Puzzled, you must get the clue for the B sequence before it'll work. I think it was in the safe near the source water (opens with red key?)
ReplyDelete@Puzzled, Strayf is right - I also struggled with the 4573 (? I hope I remember right) before I realized that you must first use the red key to open the safe by the water source, then use the four-digit code on the box to get the white key. Then use the paper clue in the red safe to solve the B puzzle.

And now I'm out. The only points I was really stuck were the pink/blue thing and to flood the scene to get the pink key.
ReplyDeleteAgain, a really outstanding game. You all know I've been asking for a Robamimi now and then (and no1 games as well), and I feared that for some reason there wouldn't be any new games from them. So glad it was just the needed time to make this masterpiece!
Thank you for leaving helpful hints when I was stuck.
A fantastic escape game that other developers can only dream of making. What I particularly enjoyed was everyone being helpful with clues about the game, and not some of the drivel you see in supposedly walkthroughs.

ReplyDeleteRafaga - after you put the symbol from page 14 on the front, back out and click on top of box. You'll see the clue for the flower petal door there.

ReplyDeleteSo sorry, I can't remember what my door clue looked like. I know that one on each side was lit - thought they were the same one and then either the top or bottom for the third light

ReplyDelete@rafaga, are you certain that you copied the symbol from p.14 including the outside border? As I recall, the left button on the box controls the border, while the right button controls the symbol. I think solutions like the petals on the door won't work until you have uncovered the clue.

ReplyDeleteI can't end the game because when I water my tree, nothing happens :( I tried flooding, emptying water and leaving it alone as it was... every time I fill my bowl and water the tree it says 'nothing happens'. No fruit growing. Have done all other steps so I don't know what gives. Even Hint button tells me so.
ReplyDeleteHi Tania. You have to fill your bowl with the water from the "source". First you have to find the first dial for the water control thingy and then drain out all the water. That lets you go down into the courtyard (?) where you see the gargoyle who doesn't need a crown. Fill your bowl from that water and the tree will give you a pear to give back to the gargoyle. Know that's kind of convoluted but this is Robamimi. ps there is a You tube walkthrough if I'm not explaining this well enough

ReplyDeleteAniholl - If you're talking about the figures behind the ladder. Cut each one exactly in half vertically. Then look at the right side of the image - you should see four numbers.

ReplyDeleteTania - to the right of the gargoyle where you got the stone ball (in courtyard after using 1st water dial and draining the water)you should see 4 columns - if you look down, the water source is there
ReplyDeleteI found it Janet. The problem is that Macbook pros have very dark dark spots and you cannot see minuscule differences so you have to click blind... Big issue with problems. Thank you for your help!

ReplyDeleteThis is the first Robamimi game I have seen and now I can see why other people have been raving about them.
After a huge amount of effort I managed to get both endings.
Thank you Robamimi for giving us this awesome entertainment (and frustration!) and Brett for telling me about it.
Five stars are just not enough for a masterpiece like this!

ReplyDeleteStill a 5 star game. No pixel hunts (but look for navigation arrows). Be sure to keep a screenshot of that 3x3 grid of numbers till the very end. The source of water is tricky, very far into the game it is "pɹɐʎʇɹnoɔ ǝɥʇ ƃuıuıɐɹp ɹǝʇɟɐ ǝlppnd ǝɥʇ"
