  1. ok, so I don't have to decipher all the words? because I'm haven't figured out the 2nd word. but since the last word tells me it's "...", these numbers/words are probably not needed, correct?

    ReplyDelete
  2. Hi! What is meant with 'good old Sam'?

    ReplyDelete
  3. Hi Arrie, Sam invented a code

    ReplyDelete
  4. @Casual & arrie: Welcome back. Yes, it is "Sam"
@Donas: Welcome to the riddle, at whatever level you may be in.

    ReplyDelete
  5. where to start in 8? and where to end?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Back to riddling. On 6 now. Thanks for the himts :)

    ReplyDelete
  7. Casual, study the string, you should see breaks

    ReplyDelete
  8. If this is M**** is there any indication of where the breaks are. It looks like a lot of trial and error.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Lin, the length of the lines should guide you

    ReplyDelete
  10. @LinR: Not trial and error. Check next to the "white spaces" bellow, you will see two kinds of patterns / "separations". That helps?

    ReplyDelete
  11. hello! thanks for the riddles!
I'm working on lvl 9, I found one word, now stuck with "the location"

    ReplyDelete
  12. 8. I come up with something like RESKEEGET....that can't be right. maybe I have to switch either the long or short of those bars.

    ReplyDelete
  13. What white spaces, Riddle Master? I only see thick black lines.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I mean, of course there are long and short lines for dots and lines, but that's not what you mean right?

    ReplyDelete
  15. @arrie: See Donas 9:41 hint. Length of lines indicate the separations.

    ReplyDelete
  16. for 8, think thick and thin

    ReplyDelete
  17. ok, got no. 8. I mixed the long and short bars up.

    ReplyDelete
  18. @casual, there are 3 kinds of bars.

@mako, you used something to get that word. Now, look at the bigger things in the pic. What do you have? How many? It's not "to die", but in the same way make another word from what you say out loud.

    ReplyDelete
  19. for No. 9, does it matter that the front dice is obviously wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  20. @Casual: No, it does not. They are riddlers dice! :)

    ReplyDelete
  21. maybe a little far-fetched, but is no. 9 about a former world leader?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Casual, I have 2 eggs on 9, I don't think it's about a world leader, but haven't solved it yet

    ReplyDelete
  23. ok, then it's not about JFK ;)
thanks, now I can focus on something else

    ReplyDelete
  24. Could someone give me a hint on where to start on 9? I see familiar words, like 'beginning' 'first ones', 'start', but don't know what to do with it.

    ReplyDelete
  25. arrie, start with the dots

    ReplyDelete
  26. @arrie, those words are indicators to 'read' something in the lines. Start from there.

    ReplyDelete
  27. same here @arrie NL. I think 'initially' could be important.
    That's why I thought about JFK (sum of 1st dice = 10 = J, sum of 2nd dice = 6 = F & sum of front numbers = 5+6 = 11 = K9)

    ReplyDelete
  28. I have already anagrammed all the first letters per line, translated the dots to letters ... nada.

    ReplyDelete
  29. @Donas, lvl 9, you have WHAT and WHERE, just write that.. Read the WHAT egg.. Something in someplace.

    ReplyDelete
  30. @Riddle Master, something could be 'me' and someplace could be 'lost' :)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Level 9, maybe not just the first letter of each line. Maybe more or "groups" of them. Work, work!

    ReplyDelete
  32. ah, some dots need to be combined to get a letter.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Hi! stuck on lvl6
I folded into 4 parts but I do not understand the instructions to choose letter, any hints please. Thanks

  38. Pichi is at level 6, those are lvl 7 hints!
Pichi, fold the map in four. The colors indicate the position to pick letters (8). Imagine it was fresh ink, it would pass the ink through paper.

    ReplyDelete
  39. o brother, you're right riddle master, sorry Pichi.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Thanks Ellie and arrie!

    ReplyDelete
  41. for No. 9: I can't figure out the numbers. I figure, numbers translate to letters (so numbers must be smaller than 26): 1,3,5,6,13,15,16
    which would be A,C,E,F,M,O & Q

    I can't anagram those letters.... :(

    ReplyDelete
  42. Casual, I got help here as well, there are 5 numbers, right? The lead to 4 letters.

    ReplyDelete
  43. @casual, 16 isn't Q
    You only need 4 letters.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Only 1+6 needed to be combined to 16.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Casual, the top 2 numbers give 2 letters and the bottom 3 numbers give two more, no anagram

    ReplyDelete
  46. thank you very much! got it now. sorry for my stupidity

    ReplyDelete
  47. Oh, of course not Casual ... lol, I know how you feel, now help me to move on to 10!

    ReplyDelete
  48. I doubt I can help you arrie NL. As I understand there are at least two eggs. And I just found the one with the 4-letter word...

    ReplyDelete
  49. @arrie, the hint at 10:39 helps? Syl***** maybe.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Ah, yes. I'm on 10.
Riddle M. gave the hint not to pick first letters, but the first part of a couple of words.
Do you see what you have to look for if you do that?

    ReplyDelete
  51. Thanks for all the helpful comments, I really appreciate them all.

    ReplyDelete
  52. arrie, can you give a clue for it? (the location) I know what to do, Ellie wrote a useful hint, but nothing works for, me, tried to write "2" as to, too or two, tried with dice, dies, dyes... no idea

    ReplyDelete
  53. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  54. @Riddle Master, help on 15?

Binary seems to be the way to go here, but the equivalences are not giving good results. How to proceed?

    ReplyDelete
  55. @mako, if you have "a couple" it can also be said as a p***.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Level 15 title second word hints at something. You need to convert numbers using only some of those symbols.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I had a couple of ideas for level 11, but can't make either work, a hint please?

    ReplyDelete
  58. @Donas, those colors mean something, red can be associated to delete, remove, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Casual, how are you doing?

    ReplyDelete
  60. I'm sorry to ask again about no. 9.
despite all the help, I have no idea about the location.
I tried vowels, consonants, syllables, number of letters in each word/line, double-letters (like begiNNing), letters in correct alphabetical order (like fiRSt) & lots of other stuff...no clue!

    ReplyDelete
  61. @Casual, check the beginning (group of) letters in each line... they spell something to you:

    "Sol**** ..."
    "Ve**** ..."
    etc...

    ReplyDelete
  62. Hi Casual :)
Read the first parts of the first words of the lines. They tell you to take a look at the picture. It's a couple of dice, as Ellie said, 'a couple' can also be named
    a 'p...' of dice.
Say that out loud and you have the lovely location we are all longing for.

    ReplyDelete
  63. @Casual, the text will only give you a hint how to find the location from the pic.

From the text, you need to take first letters from each row (but more than 5 letters). Pick as 32323.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I don't understand lvl 15 (yet). Looking at the title, I can convert for example 11 to XI or III (via binary 3), but how to use what I get? That's probably not the way, but what other symbols do the title hint at?

    ReplyDelete
  65. thanks again Edgar, arrie NL & Ellie!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Level 12.
Are the four outstanding colours important?

    ReplyDelete
  67. Ellie, you are close. If 11 is not K (11), it cant be XI, thats also 11. No binary is required. Maybe 1 and 1?

    ReplyDelete
  68. Arrie, all color names are important! Each funnel has colors, look at the funnels one by one.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Thanks @RM! That was a sneaky level :)

    ReplyDelete
  70. On 9 I have the location but I find not what else is there

    ReplyDelete
  71. okay! on level 13. I found what the colour names have in common per funnel.

One question puzzles me though: what is the meaning of the sentence in this level?

    ReplyDelete
  72. LOL arrie, you solved it the easier way possible it seems. Each word on top was supposed to be 'filtered' in the funnels, and only the letters in common with the colors were going to come through. A bit harder than necessary, wasn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Still stuck in "location" 9
    Someone help me?

    ReplyDelete
  74. On level 14.
The egg tells me to pick them but I get no vowels doing that.

    ReplyDelete
  75. @arrie, where are you picking? Use the whole board.

    ReplyDelete
  76. @pichi, look at the dots. Convert to 4 letters. You have 5 different numbers, but two of them make one letter (16).

    ReplyDelete
  77. Aaah, Edgar, Now I have to go back to level 12 to check. I thought about that, but the second word had more than one possibility, so I put that aside.
    .........
But now I see, I spell 'grey', it has to be 'gray'. Thank you.

(After getting the first letters, I guessed the last three. Was wrong there at first).

    ReplyDelete
  78. Ellie I have two words of 4 letters, 2 eggs, and the location, and then?

    ReplyDelete
  79. lvl 14.
With 'board' you mean 'grid'? Or something else?

    ReplyDelete
  80. @pichi you have to add "in";
    somethingINlocation

    ReplyDelete
  81. lol @arrie, yes I mean grid (I was thinking of a chess board).

    ReplyDelete
  82. Well, that's helpful then ... LOL
ehm ... what do I use on the grid?

    ReplyDelete
  83. For lvl 18, I got the egg telling I'm "heading the right direction". I need to find the other part. Hm... can't see what else to use.

    ReplyDelete
  84. @arrie, you got a word, right? Pick the **** ones from the grid. You have 35 squares numbered from top left.

    ReplyDelete
  85. @dutchie, yes 11=II=2=b

    ReplyDelete
  86. Dutchie, so far, yes!

Ellie, not sure what egg you got, 4 letters?
Now just pick in other way. Search for what the days tell you, the actual number.

Gotta leave for today, thanks for keeping the riddle alive!

    ReplyDelete
  87. thank you Ellie, got the first egg, and now have 5 more words, picking the other letters.
The words don't really form a sentence. A bit uncertain here.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I got a 4 letter word (p***). I didn't "pick", I just read what the days told me. Well, I'll try to see if I can pick something in another way.

    ReplyDelete
  89. I mean second egg of course, after using the word.

    ReplyDelete
  90. @arrie, at this point google will help.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Aaahh, Google to the rescue, it's a song or album title! YAY, solved.

    ReplyDelete
  92. yes, Ellie, I found it, thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  93. no idea what next at lvl 15
what to do with others, is 111=C?

    ReplyDelete
  94. Great @arrie!

    @mako, yes 111 = III = 3 = c

    ReplyDelete
  95. I need to go to bed now, and might not be back until tomorrow evening.
For lvl 15, another number: 1010=xx=20=t

    ReplyDelete
  96. thank you Elli, good night!

    ReplyDelete
  97. level 15.
I only get 2 vowels that way?

    ReplyDelete
  98. Lvl 10 it is m**** code? I've got an egg,but the letters that I have does not work

    ReplyDelete
  99. @pichi, yes, m****, and more signs on cars

    ReplyDelete
  100. lvl 15.
Yes, two vowels is enough ... anagram.

    ReplyDelete
  101. lvl 15, f.e. 1011 could be XXI or XII or 11 (binary)?

    ReplyDelete
  102. thanks Arrie! I had those letters but it did not look like a word for me.. English is weird!

    ReplyDelete
  103. lol, thanks to others, mako. I'm just passing it on.

    ReplyDelete
  104. And btw, I thought the same thing as you. It couldn't be correct, could it?

    ReplyDelete
  105. no, no point in using granny at all ヾ(≧▽≦)ノ

    ReplyDelete
  106. lvl 17 looks like -- a riddle lol
I have to quit for now, see you later!

    ReplyDelete
  107. lvl 16.
Just a question of naming them and first things.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Stuck on 12
I see the colors and funnels, but I do not know what to do with all this

    ReplyDelete
  109. lvl 16.
The solution is not a name like in the pics but a general name, plural. One thing, if you don't know one picture, fill in a ? for the anagram and the solution is in the list.

    ReplyDelete
  110. lvl 12.
Pichi, NAME the colours per funnel.
Search for what they have in common.
lol, as Edgar hinted: the word above the funnel will show it too.

    ReplyDelete
  111. pichi, try writing in a list the top word and the colors you see, look for something in them all

    ReplyDelete
  112. I can't seem to bet any results from google on the pics for level 16. Arie's hint of general names isn't helping as some can qualify for a few. And what the heck is the top right one supposed to be.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Hi Lin, for 16 all should have specific names, it's the answer that is general. The upper right is in Brussels

    ReplyDelete
  114. Good morning.
on level 16 you need the names of the buildings and only the second on the low row was impossible for me to find. So therefore the ? while gramming.
The answer is a type of building (plural).

    ReplyDelete
  115. Morning all!

@Ellie level 18: Maybe we expressed ourselfs badly. By reading the days you get a number, that appears around the image sometimes... Try something with that, not really "picking", more like associate.

@arrie: All building are supposed to be world known, very famous. In case of doubts, and if some of you don't want to brute-force, you can simply search for famous ones and check the images, they should be pretty obvious.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Goodmorning RM.
I solved level 16, but the second on on the bottom could not be Google-Imaged (if that is a word). I tried a couple of times.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Arrie, it's in Rome, you know it well

    ReplyDelete
  118. 333 comments and one-and-a-half stars. Lord, what are we coming to.

    ReplyDelete
  119. I think I nick a kick at lvl 17, I should do sth with l****** but what?

    ReplyDelete
  120. @mako: Use the hint l****** on the italic text.
1st paragraph will give 1 of those, second paragraph will give you 2 of those, third paragraph will give you 1 of those.

    ReplyDelete
  121. thanks RM!

    ReplyDelete
  122. I really need help for lvl 7. Saw the hints but can't do anything with them.

    ReplyDelete
  123. @Milena for lvl 7 use the first sentence to fold the map (leaving you with 4 layers of 4x4 letter grids).

Then use the second sentence to pick 2 letters (top leayer).

The third sentence gives you 4 letters (bottom layer).

Use the bold parts of the sentences to pick letters

    ReplyDelete
  124. Milena, start by folding the paper in half lengthwise to the right, then fold the paper up from the bottom, this puts the side with 'door' on top, but it is now upside down, pick the last 2 letters from the top row.
then look all the way down to the bottom layer (the side with 'this', and pick the corner letters, you need 6 letters for the answer.

    ReplyDelete
  125. I think I know what to do on level 21, but there are several options, any help to narrow it down?

    ReplyDelete
  126. @Donas do you know what game you are playing?
If so, there are indeed some options but it shoud give you a straight answer with no anagram (3 words)

    ReplyDelete
  127. Thank you Donas and RM. Finally I got it. I was complicating way too much... :-)

    ReplyDelete
  128. I'm going around in circles on 22. I suppose I have to pick letters. I don't see a hint as to how. Am I missing something.

    ReplyDelete
  129. @LinR: Start by reading the instructions on the "main path" of the maze; the maze is full of eggs, you should have no problems crossing it if you keep trying.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Stuck with egg 1a on level 22 tried rows syllables words. Levels ,level title's ,answers etc

    ReplyDelete
  131. @mtatt100, level 22, read EGG 1A text again, it hints you into something... You may already know what they are, but not how to use them.

    ReplyDelete
  132. level 8,read all the comments still dont get it ,pls help

    ReplyDelete
  133. @Sofia look at it as sam's code (as you might already know).

You have 2 types of separations (1 long line and 3 long lines, ignore the starting and ending even more long line :D )

One is letter separation and the other is word separation

It should go as "- .... ." for the first word and so on...

    ReplyDelete
  134. Is there a better way to do level 24 other than watching a video. Angles and locations are a little difficult to determine.

    ReplyDelete
  135. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Hi! Back again to catch up. I'm struggling with 21. Should we get 6 letters to form 3 words or should I look for something else than firsts? So many options.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Hi Ellie :) first will do, but you need 10 letters

    ReplyDelete
  138. Thanks @Donas.... will think about that for a while :)

    ReplyDelete
  139. I have names for level 26 and not sure what to pick. I see text words match up to the items in a way that must be intentional.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Hi! lvl 18.
I know there are eggs, I found the two words=numbers or months, could I get a hint on how to move on?

    ReplyDelete
  141. lvl 18 : I don't have the eggs yet.

    ReplyDelete
  142. @LinR if you have the names, dont delete them! they have a great value and you need to pick on them.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Arrie, use the two you found and look for two more for an egg

    ReplyDelete
  144. @arrie the two words are important if you convert each one into something. Dont forget the year you are on!

But they are also important togheter, without conversion. Where can you find that number?

    ReplyDelete
  145. Thank you Riddle Master. I had two wrong. I guess it pays to check more than one site. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  146. lvl 18.
Thank you both, I found the first part.
Where can I find that number? If I split it into three parts I find it in the table of two ... lol.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Thanks dutchie! It's level 18 isn't it? And two days and a combination of eggs, oh, how beautiful level 19 is looking.

    ReplyDelete
  148. help on lvl 14 please? followed the steps to get 8 words, but don't know what to do from there

    ReplyDelete
  149. rds665, use them as coordinates

    ReplyDelete
  150. ty Donas727, now pick what though?

    ReplyDelete
  151. rds, they should give you 4 letters for a word that will lead you to pick more letters

    ReplyDelete
  152. On lvl 19, the tree is not hidden anymore, the text is.
I counted number of words per sentence, used the sounds-as and found numbers=letters, not making a word, but can't seem to find the right method. A hint please?

    ReplyDelete
  153. I followed the grid and then used that for the four letters to find and egg that says now pick them? not sure what that means

    ReplyDelete
  154. @arrie, text with basic method. Think 1,2,3...

@rds welcome! Try picking the e*** block on grid, start on top!

    ReplyDelete
  155. Arrie, first you need to step down ;)

    ReplyDelete
  156. Stuck on 26 egg, hint please?

    ReplyDelete
  157. rds, lvl 14, start up left and count and pick the ones the word says.

    ReplyDelete
  158. @RM, I counted words and took letters per sentence, I see for=four=d, or the fourth letter or the first letter of the fourth word ... but no words come out of that.

    ReplyDelete
  159. ok,so I followed the grid with "e***" and the other, do I combine all of that together?

    ReplyDelete
  160. rds, google should help now for a name

    ReplyDelete
  161. pop got it, thanks for the help

    ReplyDelete
  162. rds, if you found numbers and the second word out of them, and if you found a sentence with the other letters that doesn't sound right, go google.

    ReplyDelete
  163. trying to find somewhere to start on level 27. The numbers don't seem to give me anything I can use. I see some words in the grid. One looks like a possible hint but if it is I can't see how to use it. A hint would be appreciated.

    ReplyDelete
  164. oh, thank you donas, lvl 14, yes
    1st 1st 1, 2nd 2nd 1 ... leading to a second egg.

    ReplyDelete
  165. and granny to get to level 20! thanks again, donas.

    ReplyDelete
  166. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  167. @Donas, you already know money is not everything, you first need to combine what you have with something first!

    ReplyDelete
  168. No hints on level 20 :(
It's not a cipher on Luthorien is it?

    ReplyDelete
  169. I'm at a loss as to what direction to take on level 28. The numbers are not giving me a destination that I can find. Maybe I'm just a bad driver. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  170. Problems with going left and right Lin ?? lol

    ReplyDelete
  171. No hints for level 13. Have no idea what to do...

    ReplyDelete
  172. Arrie, there's one code for lvl 20 on Luthorien, the second - google helps

    ReplyDelete
  173. lvl 13,
Milena, collect the letters per colour, if necessary granny and count.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Milena, the colored windows are special if you isolate each color, with some rearrange.

Level 28, LinR we bet you are an excellent driver, even on that highway, keep your eyes on the road!

    ReplyDelete
  175. lvl 20.
Great, I found one! The colours signal somethings, leading to an egg.

    ReplyDelete
  176. lvl 21 - I found a dice game, some terminology but I'm confused how to get 10 letter here, what names to use, no idea, it's so many of them

    ReplyDelete
  177. lvl 20.
I don't remember having used that one before, nice. On lvl 21 now too mako.

    ReplyDelete
  178. Riddle Master that highway is very foggy and I am lost. The numbers don't seem to relate to the locations. I need a GPS OR a hint. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  179. Thanks, Arrie and RM, finally got it!

    ReplyDelete
  180. lvl 21.
The dice you have to use, do they have to be lying next to each other? To touch each other?
You have draw a line so to speak to divide the dice?

    ReplyDelete
  181. Almost 400 comments
    Next page.

    ReplyDelete
  182. not getting 17 at all, get that I need to use "L******" but on what, came up it a********, in the first, l*** and t**** in second and e******* in the third but what do I do with it?

    ReplyDelete
