  2. i'm new to ce8 games so maybe i just don't understand how they work, but my inventory is full of stuff and i have no idea what to do :/

  3. Hi leoinparadise, good hint about the clock hands. The trick is to blindly place a pair of "trigger" items in each scene. Then you get more stuff. Once you place all the trigger items, outlines of items appear in each scene to guide your placement. In the first scene, place the 2 shields on the far right side, one on top of the other. In the last scene, place the 2 statues of the sitting figures, float them on top of the pool. I will post as I figure more stuff out.

  4. wow! i would not have known to even try this! thank you!!

  5. These games can be VERY challenging. You can also drag stuff into scenes blindly before the outlines appear to make room in your inventory. So far, in scene 1 - minion; scene 2 - pigeon, handled pot: scene 3 - dog jewelry; scene 4 - double pillar; scene 5 - stacked stone

You're working in the dark until the outlines appear. Also, the items will temporarily disappear after placement until you complete placing the "trigger" items.

  6. HINT: 2 ancient discs go over doorway in scene 2

  7. stones was one of the first things i figured out, but now i'm just trying everything in every scene hoping it sticks! i think i could actually like this once i warm a little more to it.

thank you for your clues! placement is still kicking my butt though

  8. leoinparadise, also be sure to look under the inventory bar for items that are partially hidden by the bar.

  9. Eye balls go in the pool.

  10. Oh, same here, leoinparadise! It can be frustrating but I like a challenge.

  11. Thanks Lizzie! Once placed we get the clue for the clock hands so we can start placing items!

  12. Looks like the pigeon I placed in the 2nd scene flew away! Hope it's a homing pigeon.

  13. You're welcome! I usually have a hard time with these, too, so I felt like a BOSS.

  14. Lizzie, I hear ya! Also flowers in scene 3, bottom of screen. Found my homing pigeon waiting for me there so my above hint was in error, sorry folks.

  15. You have to go back & forth with the clock to collect inventory.

  16. I am assuming the ancient crosses go in the next to last scene, but I can't seem to get them to stick anywhere.

    ReplyDelete
  17. leoinparadise, also the single inventory items like the sword, ladle, etc. are used on the placed objects. Use the sword to arm the minions (you only need one sword).

  18. can't get eyeballs to stick. frustrating indeed! you guys are going to help me more than i'll help you!

  22. Thanks for your help, too, Lizzie!

  23. BAH. Missing one last cup.

    ReplyDelete
  24. leoinparadise. eyeballs go at top of pool, same height as the people, in the middle.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Lizze, I am also missing one cup. There was a teeny tiny one in scene 1 if that helps.

    ReplyDelete
  26. FINALLY! Teeny, tiny one on the right-hand candle table in the stones room

  27. thanks Maximom! but it's still not working for me :( i probably need more practice at these games, but so far it's actually not all that fun. too random and not my type of "escape" game. might throw in the towel soon...

  28. Hey Lizzie! I was just getting ready to post that I found that one too! :)

    ReplyDelete
  29. leoinparadise, I understand. The pool scene is the 4th scene, btw. If you look at the inventory bar and count to the 4th and 5th squares, the eyeballs go appx. right below maybe 3/4 inch.

  32. The CG8 games can be frustrating. There is usually someone to help, though, if you decide to try again. Are you calling it a day or should I stick around?

    ReplyDelete
  33. finally out! thanks for the help Maximom and Lizzie! glad i caught this one live! thanks for offering to stick around, i might give one another go in the future :)

  34. Great job, leoinparadise, maybe I'll see you next time!

  35. Ads, then ads, then ads, then ads, trash not worth wasting time with

    ReplyDelete
  36. Really crappy game. For some reason they just keep making stupid fumble in the dark, pixel hunting rubbish. Not fun, red Xed
