  10. Jolly, James and Janice .. Saving the Game

“Only two real scenes?” James is stunned. That’s new.
“Let’s pick up some things, come on”, Janice wants to start.
“We need a bucket to get the ball out of the well.
She picks up the star, places it on the well .. “a scroll !” They all scream. No Jolly-game without a scroll.
“I can’t open it”, Jolly is disappointed. James zooms out and now it works.
“Two hints on it, look, things and arrows on the other side”.
Janice takes the knife and climbs the tree. “Wow! Some kind of ladder.”

James writes down the symbols in his notebook.
He looks at the top of the shed, hmm Large to Small?
They try and and yes! A button goes in the inventory.

    They walk back. What’s next?
“That scroll, those arrows .. there’s no ‘up’ arrow, see?” Janice studies the scroll.
“Look at the trunk. There are three parts, can we click them?”
“Yes! Good thought, Janice!” James puts another button in the inventory.
James looks down at the hole in the tree and finds a mask.

“Ha, those bats have coloured eyes, let’s go inside the treehouse.”
Janice is on a roll here, she lowers the left elephant pic and uses the colours.
“A second scroll. Something behind the other one, James?”
“Yep, working on it, remember the ladder?” James gets a mask.
“What else do we need here, Janice?”
A handle and a clue are needed at the wall.

Outside Janice runs to the sign in the distance and James writes down the directions.
“We also need a word, see that? At the pond? Weird place…”
“Look at the left side, even weirder : signs and colours. What’s on that second scroll?”
“I rest my case”, James starts laughing, he gets … “the handle !”
Janice runs inside the tree and comes back with a magnet.
    “Where …??”
“The pond, Janice, I think I see something at the bottom.”

And the key gets our two heroes inside the house.
“That scroll clue of birds etcetera, if you use that on the wall, then I will write down what colour has what number, for the tree.” Janice wants to finish this riddle.
She writes it down : “yellow on 4, red on 6 …”
After clicking the colours to their correct position she tries to pick up the sort of crown, but no luck.
Janice stares at the sharp ends … “aahh, of course …”.
The different heights are used on the wall inside the treehouse.

“How many buttons do we need, James?”
    “Four, why?”
“Then I just found the last one. It’s in the inventory. Where do we put them?”
    “Here, on the treetrunk.”
“oh…” Janice grins, “of course …”
James places them and pushes them one by one.
Using the number on the couch inside the shed he finds a second key.
Outside behind the glass door there’s a third mask.

  11. Oh, this is so encouraging!
“Go inside the shed again”, Jolly says, “the direction of the speers on the sign must be used on the wall there.”
Our Jolly Boy almost always stands aside, but he is so very smart.
    Another mask.

“Remember the word that’s needed at the pond?” Janice tries to combine the letters and numbers.
“That’s a riddle-trick, Janice, let me do it.”
James loves riddles, he played every small-tool riddle there is.
    “Number 6 means … T, number 4 means … H …”
“Thanks, James”, Janice her voice sounds super sweet, but in the meantime.
“I know, I know”, James found the word as well.
He runs back to the pond and gets his last mask.

    And there is the bucket!
All collaegues cheer and shout and the Dreamteam starts another round against the Jollyteam.
Of course there’s no doubt about who will win in the end.

And here ends another story about our three wonderful heroes, Jolly, James and Janice.
In what kind of adventure will we find them in a future game .....?

  13. I didn't read back, note to self (again): always do. Not going to re-write it, lol, but
    house=shed=house.

Oh, and what did James find behind that bird/tree puzzle at the wall in the house?
(Don't count the number of masks, just note you need 5).
