  3. Don't search for the knife blade - you'll get it from the lever puzzle in the scene right of start. Use pencil on newspaper and do math (obviously change the numbers left-right)

    ReplyDelete
  4. Today's red herring is in the stairs scene two right from start looking like a sun-shaped puzzle. ;-)

  5. Hello all. My red button vanished from inventory, had to restart since resume didn't work.

    ReplyDelete
  6. use pencil on newspaper - insert cards into hints on wall

    ReplyDelete
  7. Sliders, one right of start, the 3rd and 4th positions won't go to the top.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Meth, I try to remember if I had a red button at all.

    ReplyDelete
  9. use knife in top scene for 5#hint

    ReplyDelete
  10. Light single candle middle row left room for a hint.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Scene one left from start: hint from first pillar is used in scene three right of start in the arrows puzzle (collect arrows first, not hard to find)

    ReplyDelete
  12. hi meth
    hope you can catch up...

number paper is for code 2 right of exit

    ReplyDelete
  13. Scene two right of exit: Collect the circle pieces (from two puzzles) and play Simon game. Colour clue came from one of the scenes right from start.

    ReplyDelete
  14. don't get the letter hint on pillow in end scene for puzzle in bottom left room...

    ReplyDelete
  15. POPO
it gives a building for a princess ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  16. Alpha, it was easier to anagram. ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  17. Right now I have used all times except for hammer and chisel. I have seen a 5# clue in the books in upmost scene but the remaining puzzle in the candle scene is not active. I'll try to find a place to use chisel/hammer now.

  18. merit

chisel & hammer for exit room

    ReplyDelete
  19. Back wall in exit scene! Gives two brown squares.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Brown square puzzle in candle scene seems to be a memory game (finding pairs).

    ReplyDelete
  21. where do colour shapes & coins go?

    ReplyDelete
  22. POPO
    in exit scene

    ReplyDelete
  23. Alpha, coins go to start scene in back wall. Colour shapes go to the star-pentagon-triangle holes in exit scene.

    ReplyDelete
  24. colour shapes I mean

    missing 1 arrow...

    ReplyDelete
  25. Solved the brown-square-puzzle to get an empty slot. I think I need a torch from the 5# puzzle if I ever get it to work.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Coins go in start room AO, if you mean the ones I think.
Very strange. I had a red button when I first played and it disappeared. Can't find it anywhere now. I'm way behind you all :-/

  27. found my last arrow on the chair next to newspaper Alpha

    ReplyDelete
  28. Meth, don't care about that button, I never had one.

Either it was magic or the square puzzle activated the 5# puzzle (same scene). Got the last music notes now.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I'll have a short look in new game for the arrow Alpha needs.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Robert

    You see, I'm adaptive.

Alpha, which do you need? Gold, silver, bronze?

    ReplyDelete
  36. One sneaky coin was by a bed hanging AO.

    ReplyDelete
  37. In scene one above start you can zoom into the chest behind the bed (use tab if needed). There's the bronze coin. Very sneaky

    ReplyDelete
  38. nothing in inv. - missing right coin, hint for symbols above bed, hint for number code in scene where you placed candle, 2 pelmanism squares, 3 music. notes, have a number from strokes in scene left of start...

    ReplyDelete
  39. Meanwhile I'm out. For me this was one of the best EightGames I ever played as there were no killer puzzles. 5 stars.

    ReplyDelete
  40. thx ppl for the coin - at least ☻

    ReplyDelete
  41. You got it now or should I make a screenshot from the hotspot?

    ReplyDelete
  42. I'm out now. But I'm going to replay to see if I can replicate that red button thing. I'm beginning to doubt my sanity!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Thanks for the hints everyone and the game 8G.

    ReplyDelete
  44. merit thx have the coin

    pelmanism puzzle gave nothing...

    ReplyDelete
  45. The strokes thing is hint for the arrow puzzle. The rest from things you mentioned should fall one by one when you've got all coins.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I think it activated the number hint in same scene. I wrote that earlier.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I mean the roman numerals...

    ReplyDelete
  48. Number puzzle, not number hint.

    ReplyDelete
  49. somehow missed that comment, merit

    ReplyDelete
  53. I think meth is still running around for that red button. There was one yesterday (still got the notes on my pad), maybe you played the old game yesterday?

    ReplyDelete
  54. Alright, I think everyone should get out with the comments so far as there were no evil puzzles today. So thanks for company and see you next time!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Yay! no horrible puzzles!! Eight Games, please put letters or numbers on the rooms on the map!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Excellent game, and no horrible slider or rotating puzzles! I hope that means the developers are listening to the players because pretty much everyone hates those. It took me forever to find the bronze coin which was very well hidden in the bedroom. Loved it. Thanks Eight Games!
