ReplyDelete@Robin: I think the knife was either lying on chair in bedroom or came from clicking on sack or box that was lying around.
Use hammer on crate (new scene) for hint to 3x3 symbol puzzle (start scene).

The three 3-digit clues in various rooms are for the hexagon puzzle.
