Hi all ! Look closely at the purple petals on the flowers.
ReplyDeleteRound up the calculation. Thank you SD, nice little game, as always tooooooo shooooooort !
ReplyDeleteI like these games but lousy at math. No idea what area of BD is can someone spoil it please?
ReplyDeleteJenny, Use the ruler on the fire hydrant. 4" and the radius (r) is half that (2). The clue on the paper is pi (3.14) x radius (2)squared. 3.14 x 4 = 12.56 but 12.57 worked.
ReplyDeletewhere to use SD???
ReplyDeleteYou have to take more precise pi, not just 3.14. I took 3.14159 (these are all the numbers of pi I can remember, ha ha) and 12.56636 is 12.57 in round figures.
ReplyDeleteLeroy, SD opens drawer in the bedroom.
ReplyDeletethx for this fun game, SD/HM ☺
ReplyDeletetricky maths in this one
Good game, thanks SD/Hooda.
ReplyDeleteHave to say that using normal (normal as in use in math and physics unless otherwise stated) Pi value (3,14) and 4 inches as r^2, it just doesn't add up to 12,57. No hard feelings, but it bothered me a little.
ReplyDeleteAnd still the number Pi is a moving, hexadecimal, sexagesimal)))
ReplyDeletemath problem ruined it.
ReplyDeleteNO MATH PROBLEM (just a couple of lazy-brainers) - Pi value is 3,142 I´ve learned in scool 40 years ago and never used another value!!
