The chess puzzle took a bit of fiddling but I got it. Once I remembered how the Rook moves (not a chess player, lol) I did use both rooks. The right one helped me clear that side of the board and the other one it was a matter of looking for a path using the way the rook moves to get the rest of the pawns off the board.
