  1. Arrgh! You got me small-tool. Thought my logic had "desert"ed me on Level XII. Though I did have an interesting trip.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Hi @Janet, could you give a little push for XI?

    ReplyDelete
  3. med-IX

    it's about picking letters

    (from all colours)

    ReplyDelete
  4. let me put that a different way I cant see anything on any of the legs in Night Watch

    ReplyDelete
  5. Gary

    black man's right knee
(you may set your brightness higher on your computer)

    ReplyDelete
  6. @Gary I downloaded the picture to enlarge it and now, when I know where to look, I can see it all the time :)

    ReplyDelete
  7. went away and now back, doesn't the game have saving option? every time I open my pc, I have to repeat from the beginning to get to the current lvl

    ReplyDelete
  8. med-X

found this, but it doesn't help me...

right click to open link in a new tab

    ReplyDelete
  9. For level XII think very basic. Images can be misleading.
Gary Nightwatch is hard to see. Make very large and look very closely ( maybe from different angles) at the central character.

  11. @AΩ I used the same page, it IS helpful :)

    ReplyDelete
  12. Dazz Ley , I hope you are keeping a list of your answers. Bookmark your levels when you leave. Alternately you can restart the group you are working on and just re-enter your last correct answer.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Is there anybody who can help me interpret the egg from level XV?

    ReplyDelete
  14. wow full brightness to find it. Thanks everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  15. med-X egg

getting nowhere with my different attempts...
I see how they speak (some of them even differently - mayhaps that's what is confusing me...), but what to do with it...?

    ReplyDelete
  16. thanks alpha and pixierose, luckily I remember my answers.

    ReplyDelete
  17. @AΩ ftf again, maybe you choose one of them wrong? there are more sounds for some

    ReplyDelete
  18. anyone could please give a slight push for lvl XI? I already used so many paper and pencils but going nowhere, no eggs yet...

    ReplyDelete
  19. med-X egg

    indeed, thx Hotaru

    2nd of 2nd, 1st or 2nd of 4th, 1st or 3rd of 5th

    ReplyDelete
  20. alpha, what is 'granny'?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Dazz

it's the colloquial term for anagrammed anagram

    ReplyDelete
  22. Level XI - first do the math. And relate it to something else for your 1st egg.

    ReplyDelete
  23. p.s. Sorry Hotaru was away for a bit and didn't see your first request.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Hotaru, first of all do the basic math and convert to get an egg.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Oh @Janet thanks, I was taking one letter wrong all the time pufff

    ReplyDelete
  26. Glad I could fool you on level XII Janet.

    PixieRose,
It's actually the same as that supermario level on Easy. (you only) Use the F (as start).

    ReplyDelete
  27. lol, I see all of you reached into medium lvl and I'm still in the easy one))

    ReplyDelete
  28. @PixieRose do what the level says on what the egg tells you.

    ReplyDelete
  29. small-tool, I already have the egg. It is the wording of the egg that is confusing. If I use those numbers on only the F it gives gibberish.

    ReplyDelete
  30. med-XI
    can't see some numbers properly...
    (although zoomed in)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Dazz
for easy path, I left loads of hints
you may catch up with them...

    ReplyDelete
  32. Level XI with day underlined in red. You only need the bottom numbers

    ReplyDelete
  33. oh, had too much zoom from the previous lvl(s), hence didn't see the maths at bottom - doh!
    (thx anyway Janet)

    ReplyDelete
  34. PixieRose,
You used all letters to get the egg, but to get the other egg you only use the F 'as start' !!!
On supermario you only used the S as start, but the next number (of rungs), you didn't use on that S, but on yur new found letter.
    Same here.
Mo gibberish, not even an anagram.

    ReplyDelete
  35. thanks alpha, for lvl 10, what do the numbers stand for?

    ReplyDelete
  36. I finally got XV. Kicking myself now. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  37. Dazz
the numbers in brackets indicate how many letters the word to add has

    ReplyDelete
  38. ok, thanks alpha, onto 11, should have thought touse rule 4

    ReplyDelete
  39. med-XI egg (2)
    cit. Cee Bee:
«Use the first two numbers as the words in bold on the 2nd egg - then adjust by the 3rd number. You should find some special times.»

messing up with this - are the first numbers for the first bold one?
(only 3 sorts of them in a Gregorian calendar - well, I'm using the more harmonious 13 moon calendar of the Mayas ;-Þ)

    ReplyDelete
  40. totally stumped on level XVII. I there something I have to find in the image?

    ReplyDelete
  41. AlphaOmega - The 3rd number is the math part. Do the math to find a new day.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Pixie
am I on the wrong track, when e.g. 12=31?
    or is it 12=8?

    ReplyDelete
  43. The picture on XVII is just decoration.

    ReplyDelete
  44. more help in lvl 12 please? I don't know what granny is

    ReplyDelete
  45. med-XI egg(2)

ah, it's not European date writing...?

    ReplyDelete
  46. I mean how does 'granny' help?

    ReplyDelete
  47. granny is another word for granmaa and is a term riddlers use to hint you have to anagram.
This time it's even a 16 letter word answer.
Do you see 16 letters somewhere?

    ReplyDelete
  48. med-XI egg(2)
dunno the proper name of 3rd & 4th date...

    ReplyDelete
  49. good morning all, S-T can I get a hint on XVIII, tried every combo at the B table I could find and getting only gibberish, a little push, shove or kick in the right direction would be appreciated :)

    ReplyDelete
  50. I don't understand what is missing on XVII

    ReplyDelete
  51. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  52. thx robin
never heard of the first term...

    ReplyDelete
  53. @Pixie...… what is missing from the "First" (I wrote them out and then looked.

    ReplyDelete
  54. anyone on or past XVIII that can help me out with a hint please?

    ReplyDelete
  55. My favorite Small-tool in the world makes the best riddles in the world....Now life is good!

  56. I had April fools day instead of alms but either works.

    ReplyDelete
  57. you were probably right gary, it was late when I finished that one and as I said I didn't quite remember :)

    ReplyDelete
  58. Is XVIII that easy that no one wants to spoil it or has no one made it passed it? been asking for help since last night and no one is answering. mmmmmhhhhmmmm

    ReplyDelete
  59. It is easy read my comment

    ReplyDelete
  60. I don't get lvl XVI egg..

    ReplyDelete
  61. @AΩ I think it was April Fools' Day...

    ReplyDelete
  62. I didn't find an egg on 16 but look at the numbers

    ReplyDelete
  63. med-XIII
even if I do touch typing, it was hard for me to follow the lights...

    ReplyDelete
  64. @mtatt100 thanks! now I get the egg too

    ReplyDelete
  65. Can anyone help on level 19? Nothing I can think of works.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Am at the same place Pixie

    ReplyDelete
  67. @PixieRose The shape of the letter V is important too.

    ReplyDelete
  68. med-XIV
got egg, did the maths, read hint about using numbers after dot & counting, but 404...
controlled my maths - it' correct...

    ReplyDelete
  69. ok mtatt you said it was easy..lol… I know nothing about snooker, but using their scoring either with rules or not I don't seem to be getting it. what do I do with the double colors? add together or subtract? either way still just get gibberish :(

    ReplyDelete
  70. @ Robin use as double digit numbers

    ReplyDelete
  71. do I need to apply the numbers on med-XIV egg somehow on my maths?

    ReplyDelete
  72. Omg...so easy as you said once I stop all math...lol thank you so much mtatt. :)

    @Alpha literally count after decimal

    ReplyDelete
  73. XIV has me completely stumped I've read the earlier comments but I'm more confused. I have a string of numbers and cant do anything meaningful with them. If I have to count where from?

    ReplyDelete
  74. I understand the shape of V is important though I can't see how to apply it. Nothing I have tried with that seems to give results.

    ReplyDelete
  75. @PixieRose You'll have to start at the letter V itself as well.

    ReplyDelete
  76. med-XIV

    forget about 5th division

    ReplyDelete
  77. med-XV egg(1)

    counting with my fingers ☻

    ReplyDelete
  78. any help on XX? tried rot, and writing out in triangle form not getting anywhere

    ReplyDelete
  79. Robin, be sure to use the correct kind of triangle

    ReplyDelete
  80. XXIII I have names both professional and original and tried to use the numbers on them with no luck. What am I missing?

    ReplyDelete
  81. now even more confused...haha... I have tried the "I came..." in all different triangles and caesars ciphers but not getting any thing, tried using just the center of the triangles and corners nada... maybe overthinking this one perhaps?

    ReplyDelete
  82. Robin, don't use the text from the pic

    ReplyDelete
  83. Good night sleep didn't help. Still stuck on Odd Compass....for the life of me I am not getting this, even with the snagy pic. Following the first set of directions I get "S" even though I know it should be "C".... I am so impressed with all of you who are sailing through this..I really am!!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Unknown, start at C, then follow the next direction, it isn't an anagram, so not many letters can follow C (it isn't a vowel)

    ReplyDelete
  85. XV seems I have no culinary skills as I can't cook an omelette

    ReplyDelete
  86. ok completely dumbfounded now, spent so much time and paper on triangles I must be way off course on XX @Donas what do you mean by the correct kind of triangle?

    ReplyDelete
  87. Gary, you have six letters and six numbers, match them up and ROT each, should give an egg word

    ReplyDelete
  88. Robin, you need a kind of triangle that will give a "centre" line

    ReplyDelete
  89. Thanks Donas but I have the ingredients I cant seem to put them together.

    ReplyDelete
  90. PixieRose, one of those methods should hatch an egg

    ReplyDelete
  91. Gary, it isn't an anagram, so maybe look at your ingrdients

    ReplyDelete
  92. XV I swear I tried that over an hour ago. On we go.

    ReplyDelete
  93. struggling with julius caesar at lvl XX, too, not sure what to try more...

    ReplyDelete
  94. Hotaru, find the correct kind of triangle, you need 36 letters from the level

    ReplyDelete
  95. 36 letters??? guess I'm still missing sth

    ReplyDelete
  96. 36 letters - that helped a lot, onto XXI thanks, btw when I already know what to do, it usually seems so obvious and simple...

    ReplyDelete
  97. Lvl XVI took me a long time as I was thinking about it the wrong way

    ReplyDelete
  98. lvl XXII please, help me to identify the second photo, google doesn't help me

    ReplyDelete
  99. Hotaru, I found it using TinEye.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Still stuck on XX have I been wasting all this time on writing out triangles using the letters? I just know what else I am supposed to do, tried different ciphers in red luth just not seeing that pop for some reason, and also tried names of different triangles to no avail...… can someone throw me something else please?

    ReplyDelete
  101. robin you need 36 letters look again and count

    ReplyDelete
  102. thanks @Pixie, TinEye is more perceptive than google image search

    ReplyDelete
  103. Whew. Finished the medium path. Took a look at the first level of the hard path and decided I need a break. Hopefully I will get a flash of inspiration.

    ReplyDelete
  104. @hotaru I see the 36 letters(I believe) but not sure what to do with them anymore. :/

    ReplyDelete
  105. hello, I'm on level XIV, can someone give me a site where I can get the decimals please? What I have doesn't work.

    ReplyDelete
  106. @Arrie, you don't need any site here :)

    ReplyDelete
  107. Thank you Hotaru :). Tried a lot with what's on thelevel already, but I'm encouraged by your hint, will look again.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Level XIV - The : means to divide - that's where you'll get your decimals.

    ReplyDelete
  109. lvl XXIII are there more than three eggs?

    ReplyDelete
  110. Hotaru, on XIV I do. Can't do it by head.
You DO need decimals here, but when you have those, keep it very very simple.

    ReplyDelete
  111. @Arrie, just a simple calculator or dividing manually on paper works

    ReplyDelete
  112. Time to call it a day Thanks again Small Tool you always spend a lot of time and effort on your riddles for our enjoyment.

    ReplyDelete
  113. wow thank you so much Gary, I must have made thirty different triangles, but every one was going 1 on 2 on 3 etc.... and the worst part is I was using graph paper the whole time duh!!! lol

    ReplyDelete
  114. I'm stuck on XXIII with 3 eggs, time to bed, cause there seems to be only air in my head. Thank you Small-Tool and all of you! It's a really enjoyable time!

    ReplyDelete
  115. I have no idea how to start with level A. I can't seem to make any connection. Is there a boost to get started?

    ReplyDelete
  116. Not sure what I'm looking for on Level B. Can I get a push?

    ReplyDelete
  117. @PixieRose The title is all you need. Do like the pic shows.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Thanks Mythos. I missed that last step.

    ReplyDelete
  119. I am still looking at the weird picture and trying to figure out how it relates to anything if indeed it does.

    ReplyDelete
  120. 2 eggs for VX but can't make it work. I want to try the same rots on the new red letters but I just get garbage

    ReplyDelete
  121. @Pixie The pic doesn't matter at all.

    ReplyDelete
  122. @enzed Do you mean level XV? If so then two eggs is all you need for the answer.

    ReplyDelete
  123. for XV I have a two letter word in red, plus the word red itself and the initial F. I am looking for a grannyless omelette but ???????

    ReplyDelete
  124. the 6 letters in red granny to a really nice word but it's wrong

    ReplyDelete
  125. @enzed Just put your two eggs together.

    ReplyDelete
  126. I figured the picture was not needed. I am not having a lot of luck figuring out what to do with the text or what the title could possibly mean.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Mythos- thank you. I was convinced I needed to use the red letters. Very obvious now but I was nowhere near!

    ReplyDelete
  128. @Pixie Very basic riddling is the first step. You should be able to see what to do from there.

    ReplyDelete
  129. I need to leave for a while now. I'll be back later.

    ReplyDelete
  130. a little hint on XXI please, coming up with to many 7's or L's to make a word?

    ReplyDelete
  131. If you are subtracting only take away the lines that are covered by another.

    ReplyDelete
  132. thank you pixie, easy after that.

    ReplyDelete
  133. XVII- I don't see anything missing. Obviously we have the word "first" but I don't see how to apply that in this case

    ReplyDelete
  134. How many firsts are there? Would more of them give you a familiar series?

    ReplyDelete
  135. XXIII cant get past the eggs, not sure what I am looking for?

    ReplyDelete
  136. Thanks so much for creating the game ! Remind me the good old days playing Oddpawn !

    ReplyDelete
  137. Oh man ! Cannot believe am already stuck at lvl-4...

    ReplyDelete
  138. Oh I didn't see any eggs for 23. LOL Mtatt100 left good hint earlier that should get you out from behind the 8 ball.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Pixie rose I don't see any hints for XXIII could you give me the time of the post it will help me find it easier. thank you

    ReplyDelete
  140. Oh no! I am sorry. I have misled you. You may want to file that note for later. Do you have the egg with the poster? That is the one you need. Then the fist technique of riddling.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Any help for level 4 ? Already got the egg but it does not help...

    ReplyDelete
  142. only have 2 eggs and stuck, not sure how to find a 3rd one if it exists

    ReplyDelete
  143. using the numbers on what you found should give an egg.

    ReplyDelete
  144. Eric911, collect the flashing red items for level 4.

    ReplyDelete
  145. I have names and surs and got eggs from both where do I go from here?

    ReplyDelete
  146. Pixie, sorry but have no flashing red item !

    ReplyDelete
  147. Robin, do you have the 'real" names?

Eric911 - are you sure you are on level 4? Or is it perhaps IV?

    ReplyDelete
  148. yes I have the 'real' names and found the egg using them

    ReplyDelete
  149. Oops sorry maybe 3... The one with the animals

    ReplyDelete
  150. There are 2 eggs from the real names. First things and then by using the numbers to select letters. The egg with the guy with the hat will be one you need. Then do the first thing you think of.

    ReplyDelete
  151. stuck on the egg that says " Too easy, you only used the numbers for the order! " got past the one that says 'real' . just don't know what else to use the numbers on at this point?

    ReplyDelete
  152. There is a number in each of the pictures of the people. Use that number to pick a letter from the name. Eg. If a picture of Marilyn Monroe had the number 3 in it then use that number on her real name of BaKer.

    ReplyDelete
  153. I have tried that, but not getting a word, just five consonants. I will double check their names again, but wouldn't have gotten to this egg if I were wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  154. It is possible. I had a wrong name for quite awhile. A website gave the wrong information on the upper right person.

    ReplyDelete
  155. thank you pixie for your patients, I was missing a letter in allens last name. onto 24 now.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Glad you got it Robin. :) I am off to bed.

    ReplyDelete
  157. I'm on 24 with 4 eggs. No solution yet and there are no hints. I guess that means its easy :-(

    ReplyDelete
  158. @enzed 4 eggs is all you need. Put them all together.

    ReplyDelete
  159. 25 gives me an egg straight off, now time to ponder

    ReplyDelete
  160. I'm staring blankly at my egg. The numbers have appeared but nothing is leaping out at me

    ReplyDelete
  161. med-XV egg(2)
thought that I could solve it as per hints above, but nope (mayhaps I'm not fully awake yet for riddling... ☻)
tried different stuff to put in in tool, but no proper word yet...

    ReplyDelete
  162. AO, you need both eggs for this one

    ReplyDelete
  163. @Pixie : real names ?? I feel also lost what the panda says...

    ReplyDelete
  164. enzed
I tried several egg combos, but without avail yet
(2 eggs, with/without single red letter, red stuff, white stuff etc.)...

    ReplyDelete
  165. It's much simpler than that. Combine the two words you used to get to the eggs

    ReplyDelete
  166. Eric
it seems you are at easy path mentioning panda
(the hint what the animals say is for the medium one)
first animal lvl is about first things first (ftf)
then the 2nd animal lvl is about counting at each animal name & then convert (4 letter word)

    ReplyDelete
  167. thx enzed
never tried the answers, as I though that would be too easy for a medium path ☻

    ReplyDelete
  168. well have egg on hard level C does order of numbers have a significance

    ReplyDelete
  169. It's not an anagram, that's the only reason why the numbers are in that order.

But, you know :P, my English is not that bad to make such a poorly worded title on the egg. Your hint is there (and in the pic if you use the url too).

    ReplyDelete
  170. So we have to guess what the 2 letters using url stand for .Have tried a few nothing that isn't an anagram though

    ReplyDelete
  171. Hello again! Starting the hard path...

    ReplyDelete
  172. hard B - any little clues? I don't get the title yet..

    ReplyDelete
  173. going slow here, as I must fulfil my tasks during the day, hence I can stick with the game for a longer time (load of focus distractions :-/ )

I'm on med XVII now, but Hotaru mentioned an egg I'd like to find, too at med-XVI..

    ReplyDelete
  174. Kanwal - add progressively.

AlphaOmega - I didn't find that egg on XVI either. LOL

    Hotaru - convert

    ReplyDelete
  175. Kanwal
    as per comments:
    - count rungs
    - popular name of a mountain
    - going up 2 from the S (in the alphabet) so it starts with SU
    - not just adding, also substracting

btw, you can search particular stuff with Ctrl+F & a keyword

    ReplyDelete
  176. for XVI egg just mind the title

    ReplyDelete
  177. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  178. Well got C it is what you first thought if you get the clues ...D for that matter is an enigma I would think the text is a red herring and the level is in the title but.....

    ReplyDelete
  179. med-XVII
    cit. Pixie
«How many firsts are there? Would more of them give you a familiar series?»
so I counted them but don't get Pixie's 2nd hint - do I need the total or by row or how?
(not my brightest day today it seems...)

    ReplyDelete
  180. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  181. AlphaOmega. Gee, I almost wrote Alphabet. LOL You need the ones that aren't represented.

    ReplyDelete
  182. @AO write them out easy as ABC

    ReplyDelete
  183. Kanwal
mayhaps it will help to have the Alphabet visually in front of you
    - start at the S, going up 2 rungs = 2 steps forward in the Alphabet from S = U
    - next ladder down = counting steps backwards from U as per rungs
    - next ladder down = counting steps backwards from letter you found from the previous ladder
    - ditto for the others (up=counting forward, down=counting backwards in the Alphabet)

    ReplyDelete
  184. Kanjal
welcome then to the posters poets society ☺
(based on the movie «Dead Poets Society» with Robin William R.I.P.)
& you choose a good occasion to start to comment - in a very rarely seen ST riddle ☻

    ReplyDelete
  185. hard B - is it about time?

    ReplyDelete
  186. AlphaOmega AΩ
mayhaps it will help to have the Alphabet visually in front of you :P

    Mtatt,
In D the text is not a red herring! The title is a hint.

    ReplyDelete
  187. ah, thx Pixie & mtatt
mayhaps LB - or alien thinking again ☻
(thought of a TV family series - LOL)

    ReplyDelete
  188. I need help please with lvl 13, stuck where Unknown is now...couldn't get even snaggy nor alpha's hints, can you please explain where exactly is first junction east? and what do you mean by 'further north?'

    ReplyDelete
  189. indeed ST - ROFLMAO! ☻

    Hotaru
for egg on XVI - I did mind the title, but it gave me zilch...
