R16 use it to count
ReplyDeleteRobin, try counting the number of words in the original picture.
ReplyDeleteI counted words and letters, know the words count is familiar and see how reality is fantasy, counted all letters and have five letters that seem to fit the count, but doesn't work.... tried counting the letters from the egg and don't get a word, I must be missing a step somewhere??
ReplyDeleteFind the words from egg in the original level look where they are
ReplyDeleteis it just 5 letters that I am looking for? maybe I am wasting my time counting and recounting the same things over and over?
ReplyDeleterobin, if you know what the words on the front page represent, look at the position of the 4 egg words, those 4 numbers converted should do the trick
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Donas, I was really overthinking it, finally onto 17.... so simple in reality :/
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Mtatt!!! Well done!
ReplyDeleteR26
ReplyDeleteI found the obvious egg. The only thing I can think of is variations of the Roman Number to create new word?
Congrats finishers, well done!
ReplyDeleteI'm stuck at room 29, thought I might to hex things but seems I lost my witchcraft.
R18.
ReplyDeleteI gave the comments another chance.
I need egg level numbers and have to apply them on the hotspot words. Somehow.
Is that correct?
R18 ... yes :)
ReplyDeleteR26
ReplyDeleteThink of the difference between the 2 sets of numbers and apply that to the word you used to get the egg.
Dutchie, R29 have you found an egg? that might help your witchcraft
ReplyDeletethank you for your confirmation Newbie. 19 now.
ReplyDeleteThanks Donas, still got my witchcraft :)
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS to Ceebee for finishing!
ReplyDeleteNow this is tempting .................
ReplyDeleteI jumped from 19 to 27.
to stay or not to stay, thats the question.
Congrats Ceebee, well done! :)
ReplyDeletelol Arrie, it might be safer to go back
ReplyDeleteR26
ReplyDeleteI'm not seeing what the difference between Arabic numbers and roman numbers, other than ones letters and has several digits. Could i get another clue, please :)
R26, Newbie, I never learned Latin, so I'm not sure ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Epresto :)
ReplyDeleteOh and thanks Donas, I forgot to refresh DUH!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Donas :)
ReplyDeleteR19.
ReplyDelete"you have a word, try using it to find another one."
I assume that's the word that leads to the second page? Do I have to find that word in the text or through Google translate?
R19 Arrie, for the first word google translate will help
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Ceebee!!! We have the medalists now. Well done!
ReplyDeleteR19.
ReplyDeleteI need to be more clear.
I already have the second page. Do I need the word to get there in english and somehow use it to find a word in one of the two pages?
R19
ReplyDeleteArrie, you need to use that word as it is on what you have found in the second page. That will give you a number, which you can then convert.
R26
ReplyDeleteI have a second egg. It's hypnotic... but not giving me the answer. Are there any other clues, here?? I'm probably missing something obvious :)
20 now, thank you EP, great hint.
ReplyDeleteR26
ReplyDeleteNewbie, maybe your word could use some of that action.
Congratulations Dutchie!!! Good job!
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS to Dutchie for finishing!!!
ReplyDeleteR27, I thought of completing the list but that doesn't seem to lead me anywhere. Other than that I'm out of ideas.
ReplyDeleteThanks :) I really enjoyed it and want more :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats Dutchie, well done! :)
ReplyDeleteVeri, you seem to be going 'round and 'round :)
Congratulations Dutchie!! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finishing to CeeBee and Dutchie.
ReplyDeletewell done Dutchie and Ceebee
ReplyDeletewhere's Marc ?
Who the heck is Marc?? Never heard of him. :D
ReplyDeleteMarc probably has a beard, wears glasses, is 6 foot tall and ehm ..... playes riddles sometimes.
ReplyDeleteMaybe he doesn't have glasses?? just a guess!!
ReplyDeleteYou could be right, come to think of it ... perhaps he has contact lenses.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing he looks like Bjorn Lothbrok from the Vikings show... Again, just a guess!
ReplyDeleteI don't know about that honourable gentleman, but if you think there is a resemblance there, he must be older than I thought.
ReplyDelete800-100 AD.
* 1000 AD.
ReplyDeleteHe looks Good for his age.. so I've heard :P
ReplyDeleteThat's admirable. Then I suppose there must be a fountain of youth somewhere after all.
ReplyDeleteJust like the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow.
Ehm ... I am in room 22 now.
Make that 23.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'll continue some time tomorrow.
Congratulations to Pel45 on finishing.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Pel for finishing!!!
ReplyDeleteYAY!! Congratulations Pel45 :)
ReplyDeleteAnd Congratulations go to Veri too - well done!! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Veri!!! Well done!!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!!!!! :D :D :D
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS Pel and Veri!!!!
ReplyDeleteR17 - I need some help please. I found the name of the show and got two eggs (text and pic). I've read tips about the "shape of the right" and about some "number in the left" but I dont understand these hints.
ReplyDeleteAlso, congratulations to all who have finished :)
R17
ReplyDeleteYou need to find a word (not a number). If you google the shape on the right with the name of the show, that should get you the answer.
Thanks EPresto :) My problem is that I dont't understand what "the shape on the right" means. I only see a table covered with a cloth, two men and something square (a door? a window? a poster? a picture?) in the background ...
ReplyDeleteR17 - Yay! I got it! Actually I used the pic in the egg ... still wondering about the shape on the right lol :) On to 18 now
ReplyDeleteR17 She meant the shape in the egg
ReplyDeleteR24.
ReplyDeleteIf I understand the text correctly, two letters per word are important. Is that correct?
Arrie you will only need one letter from each word but you have to do what the text tells to each word first.
ReplyDeleteR24, apply what the level says to the whole word (each of them, did you notice the parity of letters?) and then pick one from each.
ReplyDeleteR24.
ReplyDeleteThank you, that's what I thought I should do. Then I have some wrong words.
R20 - I am applying the egg using the Red Luth tool but I am getting weird results. I guess it is an 7 letter word and I am trying two different possibilites with each "grey". I am even trying to "read" backwards. No joy. Can I have some help please?
ReplyDeleteR20, you're doing it the wrong direction. Try to think transversely.
ReplyDeleteThe tool you're using is probably the correct one.
ReplyDeletePuzzled, for R20 maybe try reading in a different direction.
ReplyDeleteR20 - Thanks for your answers and your kind patience but I'm still lost because I don't quite understand the direction I should read ... N->S, S->N, W->E, E->W, NW->SE, etc. I am getting symbols like ":", "^[", "*" ... which don't make any sense at all.
ReplyDeleteN>S is right but continue on the right, you know the total of things you have there is a multiple of what you need.
ReplyDeletePuzzled, you seem to know that the number of things across is significant. Now if you were to go the other direction as one long path and then split that path into that significant number you should begin to see something.

ReplyDeleteThanks all for the hints on 20. I guess I am beginning to understand what I am supposed to do but I still gettting nowhere. Too many letters and possibilities and I don't know how many letters are to be found or if I am supposed to ask granny ... nevermind, I will try tomorrow or in a couple of days again. Now I have a huge headache lol. Thanks again, you are all so patient with me :)
ReplyDeleteHi, im back and stuck at R21. Noone needed help here :( I have the names, but then what? Is ptciu correct? 1-1, 2-2, 3-3 etc doesnt work either.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Veri and Pel45! Well done. :)
ReplyDeleteR21 Try looking per column, you will find the answer for sure.
ReplyDeleteAh, thanks donas. That's why it was so easy for everyone else! My handwriting sucks, so I never saw it lol.
ReplyDeleteYour welcome :) also on behalf of Donas :P
ReplyDeleteR24. Let me also try that tool.
ReplyDeletesɹǝsnoɹʇ ʇɹıɥsʇ sʇɹoɥs sɹǝsnoɹʇ ʇɹıɥsʇ
Are these correct? If not which one is not?
Oh, I'm so sorry dutchie! I read the wrong name there *embarrassed*. Thank you to YOU. (This is how good I am... cant even read)
ReplyDeleteR24 They are correct Arrie.
ReplyDeleteR24
ReplyDeleteʇɥƃıɹ llɐ ǝɹɐ ʎǝɥʇ
R24.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised. I threw every combination in the anagram solver and tried the ones that looked promising. It must be a word I can't recognize. oh boy, lol, that means I have to try them all.
R24
ReplyDeleteNo anagram needed. The words need some transformation before picking
R25, again... noone else needed help :(
ReplyDeleteI have the document, but cant pick the right things from there.
R25 Try counting things and anagram.
ReplyDelete@confused, R25, did you count?
ReplyDeletethanks dutchie! I actually did that already, but somehow got 5=O...
ReplyDeletethanks verito as well!
ReplyDeleteI have to leave soon so won't see a response till later, but can I have more help on R18 please? I have the five eggs/levels/hotspots but don't understand the hints about what to do with it all. Counted several different ways but getting nothing. Please & thank you =)
ReplyDeleteLisa King, you have the words and you have levels use one on the other. The word seems too short just go back to it's beginning and keep going.
ReplyDeleteR20 - Solved at last thanks to your advise. My mistake: I was tryng to follow a "full path" along the whole grid instead of going one column after the other.
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Puzzled. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, LinR; that's exactly what was hanging me up!
ReplyDeleteRoom 26 - I'm also being hypnotized by the "action" of the moving object. Can I have some help?
ReplyDeleteR26 Think what the object is doing apply that to url
ReplyDeleteR23 these things can rotate at 180 degrees or 45-90 too?
ReplyDeleteR23, Sofia, 180° or 90° left/right, takes a bit of trial and error. Paint works well for this one.
ReplyDeleteR23
ReplyDeleteSofia, you can rotate at 90, 180, and 270 degrees. They must stay where they are, and don't flip them, only rotate.
thanks donas and epresto,i did it like kids with scissors ans paper!
ReplyDeleteR26 - Thanks so much matatt100 for your hint but I don't get it. I am truly enjoying this elegant & stylish riddle but when it comes to "guessing words or ideas" (sorry, cannot express better myself) I am hopeless :(
ReplyDelete@Sofia Nt - R23: same here ;)
ReplyDeleteR26
ReplyDeletePuzzled, you need to do something to the word that got you to that egg. Red Luth can help,
ǝɯıʇ "uǝʇʇoɹ" ɐ ǝʌɐɥ oʇ noʎ ʇuɐʍ ʇ,uop ı
R26 - OMG OMG OMG ... on R27 now ... I will go and hide in my little underground shame hole for a while. Thanks E Presto :)
ReplyDeleteLol and yay Puzzled! Happy to help!
ReplyDelete... it was my cat hitting the keyboard asking stupid questions in my absence, I knew it all along ...
ReplyDeleteThat darn cat! Always getting in the way...
ReplyDeleteI'm back for more punishment.
ReplyDeleteRoom 15, I know there have been countless hints about it but I just can't seem to make any headway.
Are we feeling our way here?
If so, I get gibberish when I overlap.
Please throw me a bone :/
R15
ReplyDeleteYes Mackem, but leave out the main page, only use the eggs.
Right, I'll give it another go. However, I see some repetitions in the various windows, how does that work?
ReplyDelete5 eggs?
ReplyDeleteWith any double yolkers?
ReplyDeleteI have a Christmas Tree cursor on here lol
ReplyDeleteR15
ReplyDeleteIf you stack them, it won't matter that there are repetitions. It sounds like you have all the eggs you need.
Thank you. I believe my first 2 letters are usually followed by 7 in the football world, recently from Real Madrid to Juve....
ReplyDeleteR27 - My master needs help (let her stay in her shame hole for a while). Found some eadible thingy standing alone in the kitchen. What next?
ReplyDeleteMackem, I think I may need a hint on your last comment (I don't know much about football)
ReplyDeleteR27
If one is alone, it means others are not:
How did you find pairs for the others? Use the differences one at a time on your lonely thingy.
R27 If you paired the other ones correctly, look (count!) what happened, use that on your edible thingy.
ReplyDeleteSPOILERCR7SPOILER
ReplyDeleteIt's how a certain footballer refers to himself. He's actually famous for more than football though....
And that digit I mentioned, is that the amount of letters I'm looking for?
ReplyDeleteR15 Yes answer has the same amount of letters as CR's number :)
ReplyDeleteR15
ReplyDeleteThanks Mackem :) The digit is indeed the amount you're looking for. I think you may want to check the first 2 letters, because one is wrong.
Okay, I'll start again - only three days working on this level, there are plenty more left lol
ReplyDeleteNow I'm getting completely different letters which make no sense :(
ReplyDeleteWhich of my letters was right - 1st or 2nd?
R27 - I need a bit more help. I am confident about my pairs, and there are some differences that stand out if I ignore identical/paired "components of other ingredients" but not quite understanding how to use the differences one at a time in my edible thingy.
ReplyDeleteWish I could help @Puzzled lol
ReplyDeleteI had a piece of paper with all the windows drawn out, I've now crumpled it up and thrown it at the dog.
ReplyDeleteGonna have to start right from scratch to make any sense of this - sheesh.
Mackem, overlay your eggs as if they were transparencies and see what you get.
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa, thanks for helping. That's exactly what I've been doing, but I get a different answer every time!
ReplyDelete#frustrated
The windows on the left each give two of the things you're looking for. I don't help much here so I'm trying not to say too much
ReplyDeleteI know that I need a septet of letters, however, the windows are imperfect which leads me to draw different conclusions.
ReplyDeleteI'm usually a very good riddler, but this level is doing my head in :(
* The 'make up' of the windows....
ReplyDeleteMackem, are you sure you have all the eggs? Make sure you check further.
ReplyDeletePuzzled if you have the differences maybe you should add them to the edible thing. Or subtract.
@LinR - 5 eggs with 7 yolks in total. That's my received wisdom.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you're set then. I opened 5 tabs so I could switch easily & plotted what I saw on paper, one window at a time. Compare what you draw to the tool you're using, then let granny finish it for you
ReplyDeleteNo help to find for R28. I don't see what everyone else saw. No idea where to start.
ReplyDeleteI've been told to disregard the first, so I have 4 on and 2 off.
ReplyDeleteSo - disregard 1st
2nd on
3rd on
4th on
5th off
6th on
7th off
That looks right Mackem. Now, combine 2,3 and 4 for an egg (you already got that, right?). Add 6 to that word, and you'll have another word.
ReplyDeleteI need a break, but I'll be back soon and get this thing solved :)
ReplyDeleteYikes, you're I think it was only four on. It's been a few days, so sorry.
ReplyDeleteMackem, I know one person held a sheet of paper on their screen and drew, which made lining up the windows easier.
ReplyDeleteR 28, confused, google the kind of joke with "code" that should tell you what you need
ReplyDeleteR28
ReplyDeleteYou may see something in redluth which looks a bit like the type of joke.
Thanks, but I have already seen that code. I'm missing numbers to use it. Tried to count letters in the words, but there is one word alone on 3rd row, and starting with a z isnt what i want either.
ReplyDeleteMackem, plastic film (food wrap) on your screen and a marker works well too :)
ReplyDeleteconfused, who is at the door? convert his name to numbers
ReplyDeleteR27 - Just a question to make sure I am on the right track. About differences. Let's imagine two colums, left on the note, right on the background. Differences ... which ones are to be taken into account? Left or right or both or if both in which order? Of course, I am the cat. Meaw.
ReplyDeletethanks donas! I missed that. 29 now.
ReplyDeleteBedtime for me I'm afraid. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, I've been spinning my wheels on R20 since last night. Have read everything & understand how many and what direction to travel. Doing something wrong or using the wrong tool as I don't always get a letter. Don't have a good grasp of the subject matter of the egg, so have been lost from that point on...
ReplyDeleteR27, Puzzled, start with the word on the list, move through the alphabet until you get to the new letter
ReplyDeleteLisa King, I'm not quite sure where you are, try putting your info in a long string before decoding
ReplyDelete@Lisa KIng - R20: That room made me cry. Literally.
ReplyDeleteI can only suggest:
1. Make sure your w/b assumption is right.
2. Make sure you know how many steps you need.
3. Colum by column N->s l->r use your steps (don't go around making fancy paths as I did (one was like a whirlpool, I swear).
4. Grey tiles. Play with them. Sometimes they are light or dark, who knows. Never ever trust a grey tile.
5. I admit I had to visit Granny at the end.
My cat did it. You can too :)
ABABHED - that's the best I can get using tracing and intuition. I am really disappointed in myself. I'm going to bed now. If there is a kind samaritan out there, please, please, please help me!
ReplyDeleteR20, lol Puzzled, that's quite a journey!
ReplyDeleteLisa King, the grey are always light, start in top left and read down each column
Mackem, I did it in paint, I used the first egg as the base to draw on, then added dots for the other eggs, some will be on top of others, that's ok, just keep adding the new dots
ReplyDeleteWow, tiles are always white .... mmm .... that's why I had to ask Granny hehe. Anyway the most important thing was to understand the flow ... up down left right again ... OSEACOMOQUETRESDIASHEESTADOYOALLITAMBIENCOMONOVOYAENTENDERAESTAPOBRE ... mweaw
ReplyDeleteMackem, I suppose you are only using egg 2,3 and 4 to get that? Well, some of your letters are correct:
ReplyDelete**A*HED. If you add the 6th egg, only the last letter is correct as you have them now, the D.
Thanks, Donas & Puzzled. Puzzled, I was following your saga & cheered for you when you solved it =D I even translated your Spanish posts to see if it would help me!
ReplyDelete1. idk if my b/w is right =/
2. 8, yes?
3. always N>S? I was turning and going up at the next column
4. good to know. or not =P
5. always assume I'll need granny
No cat, just two dogs who aren't bright enough to help haha!
Ah, thank you again, Donas! Let's see where that gets me...
ReplyDelete@Lisa King
ReplyDeleteI am sure that you will join me "muy pronto" in room 26 :)
no no room 27
ReplyDelete@Puzzled: yayyy for having solved R20! You've done a lot of work!
ReplyDeleteWow, that took so many tries but I finally got it! =D Thank you Donas and Puzzled; putting your hints together got me there at last! Taking a break now; good luck Puzzled =)
ReplyDelete@Verito :) thanks so much, I am having so much fun suffering and learning haha. Now kinda stuck in R27.

ReplyDeleteUps, forgot to thank everybody for your generous advise :) Good night :)
ReplyDeleteAn of course, so happy for Lisa King :)
ReplyDeletePuzzled, i needed help on 28, so read the answers i got :)
ReplyDeleteIm working on 29 still, but got to sleep now. See you!
Well done Puzzled!! When you get back to the riddle make sure you find the proper tool. Good luck for tomorrow, don't let the kitten wake you up too early.
ReplyDeleteAnd congratulations to Ellie and Edgar for finishing too!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Ellie and Edgar, well done!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Ellie and Edgar.

ReplyDeleteR29 any hints for a not native speaker?good morning people from Athens Greece!
ReplyDeleteyou need a flower say out loud
ReplyDeletemtatt i need to say loud those two words?lovely loopin
ReplyDeleteJust one will give you what you need
ReplyDeletethanks mtatt, found this flower, now try to understand the hint
ReplyDeleteR29 Spell has more than one meaning
ReplyDeleteR29 it says:letters are worth little more .....,should i apply this to the two previous words or is it sth else?
ReplyDeleteSofia, apply the egg after you have cursed the words.
ReplyDelete24: how to "modify" the words?
ReplyDeleteR24 The washing is "inside out"
ReplyDeletemishu, write the names of the clothesif you are not sure for the names,we will find them in some hints back
ReplyDeletei have names but i dont see how to make them inside out
ReplyDeleteR29 what is the meaning of cursing a word?
ReplyDeletemishu,inside out is the key!
ReplyDeleteinside meaning middle 2 letters or what?
ReplyDeletefrom inside to outside begining from the m....e!
ReplyDeleteR29 when you curse you put a spell on it or ... it.
ReplyDeleteMishu swap them all turn the word inside out
like this: TSHIRT became IHSRTT ?
ReplyDeleteno 2 centre first and last
ReplyDeleteMishu, the first half is correct but you need to do it the last half of the word as well.
