  36. Oh man! I needed a lot of help with that one. Love the new puzzles and style of the game. Using a puzzle more than once is a great trick. Thanks SD!

  37. although i watched the VWT i was not able to get the clue for the sliders in red book - would be glad if somebody would explain (and please do not tell only the answer, the solution is clearly seen in the WT, i´m asking WHY?)

    ReplyDelete
  38. Where is the clue for red book slider?

    ReplyDelete
  39. markings on books impossible to see at normal resolution

  40. helmutbuchner83, the closest I got to figuring out the logic of it was...

Note location of green lines on first three books on each shelf - these correspond to left middle and right position in the puzzle.

Location of line (top or bottom) indicates the order or the slider

    So...
First row, lines on L and M book. Higher line on middle book, so the order for the first two sliders are M and L

    Second row = R and M
    etc...

That's the best explanation I have, but I didn't figure it out in the game, I used Dazz Ley's spoiler at 8:20

  41. That was an awesome game. Difficult. Hope to see more of those. Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  42. Everything is good except the green line of book. It is too hard for me to see

    ReplyDelete
  43. thanks bigdaddy for your explanations!

  44. replayed to check this out - when I enlarged the books to 400 % I was able to differ the green lines from the other lines.
also the fact that the solution "SENEAKED" is refused first with the comment "You have to get the clue first" is not fair because in the game there never comes a hint for the "SNEAKED" solution. therefore after finding the "JOURNEY" solution I thought "SNEAKED" was a red herring and would never have the idea on my own to try it again in the same place (thanks DAZZ LEY for hinting this out).
Sorry, but these two very poor hints ruined the whole game to me.

  46. Hi All!
I realize I'm 2 days behind everyone else here, but I've had a persistent and annoying problem with not being able to play SD's games as soon as they're out. I've tried FF, IE and Chrome with the same result. Does anyone have a solution? TIA! Happy Holidays!
