  4. I watched the video walkthrough, which shows the five letter answer, but not how to get it from the clue

  5. According to the word clue it should be:
    ESBRD-> all letters one step back -> DRAQC
    but that doesn't work :(

  12. I think that for the letter clue you have to look at your (qwerty) keyboard. One key to the left of E is W, one key tot the left from S is A, etc.

  13. Wurm, you are a genius!! thanks

  14. The logic is:
    One key to the left on your keyboard, assuming you are using a Western World keyboard, which is not a valid assumption as many developers have discovered already. Looks like it is SD's turn.

  23. Yes, I am from USA and do things as such. This is also not the first time I have used this in a game. If the puzzles are too difficult, I"m sorry. That's why I add walkthroughs.

  24. word code: the 1x with left arrow indicates you look at your keyboard and take the letter left of each clue.
    ex: left of E is W so take W.

    ESBRD= WAVES

  25. Ooh, thank you Wurm =) I wish I could have figured that out on my own!

  27. Please don't forget, that different countries have a different layout to their keyboards.

  28. I liked the keyboard clue. One way some game creators (Neutral, Tesshi) got around the regional keyboard thing was to have a keyboard in the game to look at as part of a computer scene or something.

  29. Any of you other old geezers notice the Bose 901 speaker in loft scene? (where SD was found)
    Classic!!

  30. I for one appreciate the cleverness of such a clue when some genius comes up with the answer I failed to get. It's different if the logic doesn't work at all. Here it just never occurred to me, but that's okay. That's why I come here for tips, Like SD said, there is also a walk-through but I prefer to get help from all of you here first. I prefer games like this that have the odd more difficult clue. It's rewarding to figure them out, and if not, I still appreciate it if it is a worthy test, which in my view, this was.
