ReplyDeleteFor animal puzzle you first have to solve the levers next to door. Then close the light and look again at the poster. There is the hint to remove GRU from MOULIN ROUGE and to add S to the word. Now look at the animal which have the remaing letters in the word.
ReplyDelete@Rabeea, if u saw the hint on the Moulin Rouge pic, u need to do "Rouge - gur +S". Then use all remaining letters to spell 2 animals.

Its either...the ones without the hexagon first and no hex second...or the other way around. i.e...its either 1 2 3 0 1 2....or 0 1 2 1 2 3 (i cant zoom on it any more, sorry)

ReplyDeleteI have 2 coins, one snowman and nothing else solved after solving the the snowflake drawer. I did not get a clue when I solved the box on the wall (counting ornaments). I got a coin and some snow in my saucepan. The other puzzles say "I have no clue" and that is an understatement LOL!!

Thanks to all the help here..I was told that..the final pic you get when solving the tree puzzle is also the hint for the three number puzzle. ie...the pics left on the puzzle are the numbers you need. Bows, bells, boots. Use the number of them..for the 3 digits.

ReplyDeleteI don't have a hint for the orange buttons, no clue about the animal box with names of animals, and no clue for the 3 letter box. Therefore do not have matches, newspaper or anything left except 2 coins and I've placed one snowman (blue).
ReplyDeletecyndee...look at the solved clue for the tree. (the one between the windows) You cant click the pics anymore. What you are left with are the dials at the fixed position of, bows, bells boots. Use the number of them...(on tree) to solve the 3 digi box.

ReplyDeleteSorry, I love Roba but this one was just a little too out there on the logic. The ornaments puzzle wasn't very logical and the dancing snowmen were impossible. You're depending on a mechanical mouse, for gosh sakes! Not the best one but I still look for Roba's games every time!

ReplyDeleteThis WT is just to put all the hints in the right order.
I needed a lot of help here.
Take the milkpan.
Push Toulouse Lautrec aside for a key.
Read the book on the fireplace to see the spot where you can look up, and read on to see what you should do.
Go to the drawerblock.
The lower drawer has two sets of 1-2-3. Start with the arrows, clicking 1 2 3, then do the same with the shape+arrows, 0 1 2. Take the blue snowman.
The key is used in the upper drawer and gives a star ornament.
Place the star on top of the tree and coin 1/3 falls down.
This coin takes out the screws on the panel between the paintings. Wow, took me awhile to find out. There simply was no other option. It shows the tree ornaments that can be clicked.
Count the amount of the five shown ornaments in the tree.
Start with clicking the ornament that is shown only once (that’s the boot).
Then click the one which is shown twice, go on till all 5 are used, then click enter = the window opens. In the falling snow there is coin 2/3.
Also use the milkpan to get some snow.
Now look at the three ornaments that remain after enter is pushed. The amount of those three ornaments is used on the box on the table = paper clue and coin 3/3.
Put the three coins in the box on the fireplace = matches.
About item and look at how the matches are arranged, it’s the clue for the orange buttons in left drawer = old newspaper.
About item the newspaper and light it, light the fire, place the milkpan. Go left or right and return. Take the milkpan.
Pour the water in the cup on the table.
Three letters are Capitals. Use them in right drawer = yellow snowman.
About item it and look underneath it, find a key. This key opens the box next to the door = levers.
Look at the paintings. They now form a clue for the levers. The lights go out.
Search around the room. You end up at the Moulin Rouge picture.
It shows minus GRU and + S.
Now go to the box with animal names.
Click the two names which have the remaining letters in them.
“m o u l I n o e + s”.
Inside is the third snowman.
Place them on the drawerblock.
Have fun with the buttons. If not, click ‘give up’ and get out.

ReplyDeleteI dunno... I love robamimi's games - but this one I just couldn't get to love. I liked it, it was still way better than most other developer's games - but wehn i think of robamimi's best games - like Hermit Rabi - I have to say this one's just half a notch less perfect.

Love Robamimi games, the only bugbear was the snowman, I was forced to give up, which left me wondering would there have been a different ending. I'll just have to wait on a whizzkid being able to do the lights :)
ReplyDelete@tishtosh I gave up when I 1st played it but then I came up with a plan on how to beat the snowman puzzle and it worked.
ReplyDeleteU have to be real quick.
1st I wrote down the order and divided my screen: half of it with the order and the other half was my browser with the game. U have to notice the puzzle will only work with u click the buttons without letting a single one be skipped. for example: u start on 3Y. If u press 3Y but skip the next 4 buttons, and then try to press the next sequence, it won't work. it has to be all in one go!
well it's not that hard :P good luck trying to beat it :)
Btw the order is:

The snowmen isn't too tough, just try it a few times. Once you get the color order down you can get it. Before it starts just say the color order of the next line out loud and be ready to hit buttons at the right times.

I actually got it backwards with the second use, the first time I looked at the puzzle I thought the starting objects related to the 3 digit box and tried that number. Of course it didn't work. Oops. Well I was on the right track. :)
