ReplyDeleteUsing the old level hint for Bonus 10, i'd do kind of the same thing as in Bonus 9, but i can only find gibberish. Not sure if by "think bigger" you meant for me to go and get that hint, or if we need to remember more things (or if "bigger" refers to size).

Bonus 7: I got to the page with the key, but I've got no idea how to interpret it! S-T said there are 6 eggs to find. I've got c***, p******, p***** and p*****p******. Do I need to find another two eggs to make sense of the key? I don't know how else I can look for d*****s in the original grid.

ReplyDelete@Sharon: The level page with the lists - there are two sets. The "other numbers" all have 1 point something or 2 point something - the 1 and 2 refer to the set. Do FTF on the list entries on the egg and you should get another egg.

ReplyDelete@Puffin: It's rotten. The l***s tell you the shift, and what they're on is your input word. That should get you the rotten egg. After that, use the old, lame trick (make an o******e) for the answer.

ReplyDeleteI've managed to make a little headway with level 33. I got to part 2. I found 3 eggs with numbers (one from the titles, one from authors, and one from their commonality), but from reading other posts, I think I might be missing an egg, the egg t**** i* m***. I copied that from an earlier post so I don't know what those words are or how to get there. I've put the 3 sets of numbers together to make and solve equations. I used those answers and matched letters with them, but the "word" is nonsense.

ReplyDeletePuffin - sometimes you need to put what you found and what you have together :) (also if you've shifted them correctly you should get something from anagram-solver.net that gives you an egg)

ReplyDelete@minkie and Fossa: On Bonus 7, try the different eggs as keys. They will work on different bits of the gibberish. One of my letters was a bit weird but I kind of guessed and got onto Bonus 8 from there.
Sorry, Fossa, I just saw that you are stuck on an earlier part of Bonus 7. You got c*** from looking for d*****s in the r***, right? Try the same for c*****s and d**g***ls too. Then try combining various bits.

ReplyDeleteYes, exactly like "c***". I think you should get 3 more from the c*****s? You can combine those with c*** to get an egg. Then I think the d**g***ls should give you 6 which you can combine with the previous egg to get another egg.

ReplyDeleteLevel 27 - JPete, there are only 3 colors (two look the same but arent) on the letters. Lots of counting that will give you 11 letters and adding in the 3 obvious will give you a 14 ltr word. What helped me is the hint I got to start me off: The middle one gives you 5 letters (4 from count, 1 obvious).

Did you get the rotten egg with the unadjusted things? If yes then you should be very close, maybe double check your calculations? (as there is only one way to adjust)

LVL 46 : Gotten the easy ftf rotten eggs, but can't make anything popped. I can't figure out the clues in the text. Might have to take a break for a while to refresh up.

@Namchokdef: The FTF rotten egg has a pattern on it. Follow that pattern on the level page to get another egg.

ReplyDeleteLVL 50 : Now stuck on the tent egg. A little hint on the answer would be nice. I've tried typing all I can think of for that item on the tent. I'm not great against rebus.
Namchokdef, you used the right word for this rebus. Now call the object and preposition before it.

ReplyDelete@Hancock: Try both sets of d**g****s for another egg. There is a 4th egg too, but I was able to kind of brute-force my way out of the level with just 3. I've actually written to S-T asking about the 4th egg because I still have no idea how I was meant to get it and that bothers me. xD If you find it, let me know what you did!

ReplyDelete@Hancock: At the end of the bonus levels, you get access to the list of all levels and eggs. So I know there is an egg in addition to the ones you've listed, but I don't know the explanation for how to get it! However, you can pass to the next level with 3 eggs, the key and the right cipher via brute force.
