  1. @Chael615 look for your breakfast in America, literally

    ReplyDelete
  2. Lvl 38: Working on the re-ordered list. I tried using the s____e a____t again, which didn't work, then ftf on the new c__e/middle, which didn't work either. Is one of those methods right & I erred, or is there something else I should do?

    ReplyDelete
  3. Bonus 5 - I am coming up with an a**** and a s***. Not sure if I am on the right track but the picture matches.

    ReplyDelete
  4. I was on the right track. Got the Egg

    ReplyDelete
  5. Find the things on the menu somewhere in America. There are eight menu items, so eight locations.

    ReplyDelete
  6. @LisaK apply the same method but with the new order (hence new c*****) should work

    ReplyDelete
  7. @minkie2020 : Word..wrap? Just heard of that now. Can you explain more? I've searched the meaning, and I guess I have to make that block of letters become one?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Thank you, Keeper. No luck yet =/ Were you confirming using the s___e alphabet? I'm getting some really funky letters...

    ReplyDelete
  9. Bonus 10 Been here all day and about ready to call it a night. I've been trying all day to find the 1st letter of the longest word of the clouds according to Scrabblecheat. Some of the words have several of the same length. I did not come up with anything correct using as many combinations of letters as humanly possible. Then I thought perhaps it was the longest length converted to a no. but that also did not pan out. I am at a loss as to how to find the letters to make (I am assuming) a 15 letter word. If it is a phrase, I have failed to do so as well. Need a light as I am here at the end of the tunnel.

    ReplyDelete
  10. @LisaK yes, in the new order, the second one is the new c*****

@p3p you must have been way overthinking like all of us did, sometimes the longest words are only visible to your smart granny

    ReplyDelete
  11. I used granny with all 15 words to find the longest word. She has not helped. What am I doing wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  12. @p3p -- I used the Scrabble Cheat, and only one of them had two words the same length. You do need to do something to the cloud words before putting taking them to granny. Bonus 9 is a hint as to what to do, and the earlier level suggested by the egg is a hint as well. If you don't have the egg yet, try some really basic riddle techniques on the cloud words to find it.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Bonus 10: Should I be looking down the list of grannies words to find one with the letters in the same order as in the word???

    ReplyDelete
  14. Thanks again, Keeper! There are two ways to interpret number order and I chose the wrong one. Will try again after some food =P

    ReplyDelete
  15. p3p--if you are using the Scrabble Cheat that ST gave the link to on level 3, then you can select "Sort by length" so you don't have to look for the longest one. If you have modified the cloud words correctly before putting them into granny, the longest anagram should have the maximum possible length (i.e., it will use all the letters you input).

    ReplyDelete
  16. Laurie: Thanks, I am missing the modified cloud word. Is it more complex than simply finding the word in the middle of the cloud?? May have to wait until tomorrow. I do have the egg and know the previous level that is referred to. Other than doing what I mentioned, not sure what else to do.

    ReplyDelete
  17. p3p--you won't recognize the words as words until granny goes to work on them.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Calling it a night. Very confused. Will have to figure out how to modify the cloud. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  19. lvl 38
I googling the bold and read each wiki, but I don't know what to identify.
    Please give me good tips.

    ReplyDelete
  20. @jan the level talks about places and you are given their dates of births, what do you think it can be about? :)

@p3p if you remember the old level, it means those in b******, use all of them

    ReplyDelete
  21. I tried the 38 egg again, got new/better letters, but still nothing is working! The 2nd, 3rd & 4th group has the same c__r, right? Idk where I'm going wrong. I've tried all the granny sites I know =(

    ReplyDelete
  22. After resting a bit, everything clicked on Bonus 7. Thanks for all the boosts. That one was tough.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Jan
Anagram the title to know what to do!

Yay, Laurie W finished the bonus levels too \0/ \0/
Congrats, very, very well done :)
    You're now in the
    Ballroom of Bigshots

    ReplyDelete
  24. Hi small-tool(^^♪
    Yes, I have that egg.
I do not know another egg to identify from date of b*r*h and pl**e.
Even the keeper's hint isn't catching anything.
    My flashing power is small.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Bonus 8. I have the first egg b*********. I have read the previous hints but cannot find any other eggs. Not sure how to w******* again. Can I get a push, please?

    ReplyDelete
  26. sorry
    Got an egg.
    Thank you for keeper, small-tool.

    ReplyDelete
  27. OFFS- the alphabet ugg. lv 11 So stupid is me!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Finally put lvl 38 to bed and now I'm going too; the 15th time was the charm =D No clue what idiotic mistake I was making that time & I don't care. Will face 39 tomorrow; big thanks to all those helping us stragglers!

    ReplyDelete
  29. @Chael615 apply the word to the list literally, s-t has used this trick many many times now :)

    ReplyDelete
  30. @Keeper. I applied to the list and got a rotten egg. Then I did it again and got a YES egg! I also have a good egg from the beginning that gives me a key I presume. I am confused on what to use it on.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Bonus 8 - I have the key, the cipher (rotten egg), the YES egg. I don't think I have the second rotten egg. Not sure what text to use the cipher on.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Chael615, in b********s you saw the text to decipher. The egg with yes is the key.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Thanks Fossa! I had it backwards. I was adamant that the c******* t*** was the key and was trying everything else in the text boxes. On to Bonus 9!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yeah, two new finishers \0/ \0/
Congrats Vaggelis and Congrats Jay :)
Very, very well done, you're both in the
    Hall of Fame

Good luck and lots of fun with finding and solving the bonus levels :)

    ReplyDelete
  35. Bonus 10 : Stuck in the same place as patty3ponies, I do have the egg, and got to that level suggested and noted the ways in solving that, but I still have no idea in modifying the clouds.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Namchokdef, take as many letter as you can from each word (but only "inb********s") and make granny. ST gave good link to scrabblecheat above. It gives only one good result (except one word).

    ReplyDelete
  37. Congrats to all the new finishers and bigshots! Namchokdef and Chael, I'm sure you'll be joining the Ballroom of Bigshots soon :)

    ReplyDelete
  38. @Fossa : Ah! So it's that way! I was thinking of comparing, like that past level.
Done already. Hehe. ^ _ ^ Took a while to respond here, because I was coming up with something for the ballroom.
Thanks to all the helps, and the patience. I'll stick around for a while to help, if I can. (I have to resolve most of the levels to help, I didn't saved how to solve it, next riddle I will.....)
Thanks again, ST, for your always improving riddles. Can't wait for more fun (and devilishly hard) riddles to solve (and struggle)!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Good to see you're through Namchokdef and Fossa. Sorry to have abandoned you a bit back Namchokdef - long, long power cut :(

    ReplyDelete
  40. Bonus 6 I finished the nono and have read all the hints for this level but i am not understanding what to count, tried black, white, grouping, up-down, side to side, not getting anything i can use... could i get a push please.

    ReplyDelete
  41. robin: count the groups.

Bonus-8 I have the egg b********s but I can't find more, and I don't understand how to apply the word literally

    ReplyDelete
  42. pichi, i tried that and the 12 letters dont give me a word ?

    ReplyDelete
  43. pop, was counting the bottom one wrong over and over again duh!! thank you pichi

    ReplyDelete
  44. Pichi I'm away from my computer,so I hope I'm remembering right. The w******w word, right? Treat it as two words.

    ReplyDelete
  45. minkie2020: I don't understand how to apply this word as two words in the list

    ReplyDelete
  46. Pichi it's like the level that used HOLLANDER way back. Use the same sort of method here on W******. Obey the suggestion, then granny.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Pichi perhaps it would have been better to write hollANDer and W******w.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Thanks minkie2020! Now I have 2 rotten eggs
But how do I look for the YES egg?

    ReplyDelete
  49. I don,t remember getting rotten eggs on this level. Not sure. Have you obeyed the suggestions 8 times?

    ReplyDelete
  50. *suggestion* I'm typing on a kindle and my little finger keeps hitting ads and stuff so I keep making mistakes.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Kochi For example it keeps changing Kochi into Kochi. There, it's done it again, LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Bonus 9 - I have an Egg and I found some w****. Well, I found t** w**** w***** in the grid but not sure if I need more or where to go next.

    ReplyDelete
  53. The suggestion 8 times? Of the word w......w? I don't think, I still can't see her

    ReplyDelete
  54. Chael no more to find in the grid. go further back.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Pichi you've got a list of 8 words (to) W*** ***w.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Yes minkie2020 Sorry, but I don't know what to do with these 8 words. W******w It is divided into 2 words, but how to apply it I don't know

    ReplyDelete
  57. @Minkie Looking at the main page of Bonus 9. Trying to find w***** w***** the w**** but I am not getting anything. I tried to use FTF with w**** that have i* but that got me nowhere. I also tried FTF on the w**** I found w***** the w**** and that led me astray.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Pichi an example (not from this level),if you had "backs" W*** "d***" *you could get "back***ds".

    ReplyDelete
  59. Chael If you need to find t** w**** w***** you need to ignore what is not w***** (i.e. the outside l*****s). What you get may not look hopeful, but a basic Riddling tool will enlighten you.

    ReplyDelete
  60. @Minkie Thank you! That did the trick. One more to go!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Thanks minkie2020 by the explanation, but I still don't understand, Is w......w a suggestion? I think I leave it for today, every time I mess more. Thanks again

    ReplyDelete
  62. You're welcome Chael.

Pichi I've got to go now as well. Can't do anything tomorrow until latish, but I'll check back when I can.

    ReplyDelete
  63. @pichi : OoooOh, I'm the angry spirit of Bonus 8! Those that you th*** aw** from my table, return it!...... The spirit is angry though, so you might want to a** something before returning to compensate. Just like minkie said, w***_***w

  65. Stuck on Lvl 33. I have the a.....f... egg and nothing else. Tried ftf on the authors and titles and got nothing. I am pretty sure my titles are correct. The first one has 2 different titles not counting French, but I have tried both using just the animals and with and without the "the" in the titles.

    ReplyDelete
  66. @jpete : Only that egg? You should get something from ftf titles, and then ftf animals. If you haven't, go get them. Your titles might be wrong, as the correct titles will allow you to ftf titles without using granny's help.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Yeah, yeah, yeah lots of finishers everywhere again :)

Congrats BuckDack \0/ \0/ Very, very well done, you are in the
    Hall of Fame
Wishing you good luck and lots of fun finding and solving the bonus levels :)

Also three people solved all bonus levels (and were very creative again with their BOB comments, Thanks) :)
    Congrats Patty3Ponies \0/
    Congrats Namchokdef \0/
    And Congrats Robin \0/

All three of you are now in the
    Ballroom of Bigshots

    Meanwhile also a new finisher in Tool Torture Threesome. Congrats and very well done;
    Keeper
You're now in the Hell of Flames
And of course a new Renaming there too.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Stuck on level 45 now. I have read all the comments several times. I have 10 good eggs, no rotten ones. I have adjusted for the t...z.... and worked out l..... of each l.. of t... and total. Any help very welcome please.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Di999,
Maybe try it without adjusting first. It will give a rotten egg, but at least then you know all your flight hours are correct.
I think it was anagramming without adjusting, but with adjusting it was no anagram (makes it a bit easier).

    ReplyDelete
  70. Thanks s-t. I've now got the egg without adjusting. And with adjusting now on Level 46. (I had some bits wrong before which didn't help!)

    ReplyDelete
  71. hi..bonus 9, I have the egg, but not the "yes", a clue how to find it? thanks

    ReplyDelete
  72. @molly : Do what the url answer said and seek! There's lots of stuff there, but if you focus on the v***ls, you'll find some. (You'll need 3 to get that yes egg, and some rearrange, but not by granny)

    ReplyDelete
  73. molly, don't worry, you can solve this level without that egg

    ReplyDelete
  74. Thanks to all who helped me in bonus 8!! Today with a clearer mind I could understand everything! and now on bonus 9. Thank you!!!

    ReplyDelete
  75. Bonus 9 I have 2 eggs. I know what the egg is: YES
I look at the words of the main level,to look for other words? There are some options but I don't see the right way. A help will be appreciated

    ReplyDelete
  76. Yes you are in the right place Pichi.

    ReplyDelete
  77. @pichi (and also @molly) : You're doing the right thing, pichi! Find some words in**** those in main level. (Hence the first egg, to seek) (Small hint : The first one is quite delicious)
P.S. I think that's why Keeper said it's possible to solve without the yes egg.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Yes, yes, yes :)
    A new finisher in the
    Hall of Fame
Congrats Little H, very well done \0/ \0/
Wishing you good luck and lots of fun with finding and playing the bonus levels :)

And a new finisher in the
    Ballroom of Bigshots
Congrats Sweet Meat (Chael), very well done \0/ \0/

    ReplyDelete
  79. Namchokdef and minkie2020 Thank you so much!!
    On bonus 10

    ReplyDelete
  80. Bonus 10 I need one last push.I have the egg and the old level too, I think I've done the right thing to modify the clouds.I have 15 words and one of them has 2 words,I have visited Grandma but I don't get any results...Am I missing something or did I do something wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  81. finished!! Thank you all for the clues and waiting for more!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Op! Had a wrong word lol
Thank you all for the hints without them it would not be over, and thanks to small-tool for this nice, entertaining and difficult, sometimes riddle! Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  83. YAY two new finishers in the Ballroom of Bigshots
Congrats Molly and Congrats Pichi \0/ \0/
    Very, very well done :)

And today a finisher in the Christmas Riddle as well. Congrats Ditg, you're in the Hall of Fame

    ReplyDelete
  84. Wow, so many finishers! Congrats all =)

Trying to figure out how to wrap up lvl 39. The 3 level & egg grids have me pretty confused about what to use where. First attempts are unsuccessful & the arrows are making my head spin...

    ReplyDelete
  85. LisaK -- are you still on level 39? If you have Egg 1 and Egg 2, you have all you need. Try comparing the arrows to the grid on Egg 2, but don't move any letters.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Yes, I'm still there Laurie. Arrows of egg 1 on letters of egg 2 (without moving them)are getting me nowhere. Just did it again & still no results. I should probably throw in the towel; there's no one left. Thanks for trying

    ReplyDelete
  87. @LisaK : Don't give up just yet! The answer is right there, ripe for p**k**g! You should have 13, and you don't need your grandma's help if you follow the instruction correctly.

    ReplyDelete
  88. You might missed the beginning of all arrows, if you didn't have 13.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Still on Lvl 33 with one egg a.....f... (figured that one out from the other clues) The titles give me a vegetable with a couple of extra t's. The a.....s give me nothing (a..b...c What am I doing wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  90. @jpete : I believe your a*****s are correct, just taking those to granny would net you an egg you need, since you got that a********* egg. (although you shouldn't have it just yet, as that's from the titles egg) You can solve it using that 2 egg.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Namchokdef, you were right about missing a letter; thank you for the encouragement.

jpete, I struggled mightily with lvl 33, so I feel your pain! I think ftf & granny on the a__ls from those 8 titles will get you going again. Use your new egg on the a__ f__ title & author. You can do it!

    ReplyDelete
  92. Yes, yes, yes, a new name in the Hall of Fame
Congrats Vikkih152 \0/ Very, very well done :)
Wishing you good luck and lots of fun with finidng and playing the bonus levels.

Als a new name in the
    Ballroom of Bigshots
Congrats Namnet \0/ Very, very well done :)

And; Come on, come on, come on Lisa and jpete!!! You can do it for sure, we're all rooting for you. You know there's always lots of help here. We leave no one behind :)

    ReplyDelete
  93. lvl 46- can't find angry granny egg. Found rotten and conf. eggs.

    ReplyDelete
  94. @flowerbird : there's another you can make, with those that you take to get confirm.

    ReplyDelete
  95. flowerbird -- is you got the actual confirmation egg, then you already have the letters you need for the granny egg. Just visit granny.

    ReplyDelete
  96. level 36 how do I know between which words to pick a letter ?

    ReplyDelete
  97. Yay, yay, yay another finisher :)
Congrats Dutchie \0/ \0/ Very, very well done, you're now in the
    Hall of Fame

Wishing you a lot of luck and fun finding and playing the bonus levels :)

    Lvl 36 - Joyce,
Check out the exact words on the egg. Do you recognise them?

    ReplyDelete
  98. level 36: no, tried the word you but that's a no go and follow the picture are too many possibilities

    ReplyDelete
  99. joyce--the picture is just a general indication of what to do. You don't need to follow it exactly. Notice that there are an even number of words on the egg. Try splitting them up into pairs and see what you can do with that.

    ReplyDelete
  100. thank you L-B-B and Laurie W. Will look for it.

    ReplyDelete
  101. level 36 : Thank you, found it

    ReplyDelete
  102. lvl 43
I have an angry face egg and a rotten egg.
From past comments, "y ***" is applied as "d **".
Please give some more hints about this.
    I picked up "y ***" as al *** b * t, but got nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Jan,
Find out what days of the week those dates were (way back then) and then do the same thing as what you did with the months.

    ReplyDelete
  104. jan--the rotten egg is irrelevant to the solution. The angry face egg should give you a hint as to how to find the other egg. Both eggs together will give an omelette. the y*** is irrelevant except in so far as it is needed to determine the d**. Keep in mind that d** can mean two different things. If someone asks "What d** is it?", there are two distinct answers that can be given.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Yeah!!! Another finisher earned a well-deserved place in the Ballroom of Bigshots
Congrats Jay, very, very well done \0/ \0/

    ReplyDelete
  106. Thank you Namchokdef and Laurie W, found my angry granny :)

    ReplyDelete

  107. @s-t,@Laurie W
    Thank you very much.(^^)v
    Proceeded to the next level.

In Europe it is the image of the level page.
In Japan, the beak is a black type and is called "Oriental stork" or "kounotori".

    ReplyDelete
  108. In Europe we tell the little children (when they ask where do babies come from) The stork is bringing new babies to the parents :)

    ReplyDelete
  109. Level 32- I'm just not getting it...The last hint (Thank you BucksDack!!) mentions the "R***" ...does this mean a rotten egg? I haven't gotten one...I think I have 6 good letters and missing just these 2..

    ReplyDelete
  110. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Sharon,
It's the same method as the previous egg. Alphabet as a kind of circle so in that way you get 4 letters again.
The other 4 letters is simply the F word.
Lol, of course not the naughty F word. I mean the F word on the egg/pic.

    ReplyDelete
  112. level 38 : hopelessly tangled up in the egg with men in black and numbers

    ReplyDelete
  113. Joyce,
Use the same cities, but for most of the groups it's another centre city.

    ReplyDelete
  114. @ L-B-B thank you, found it

    ReplyDelete
  115. Ok plodding along on 33. Have the egg from the a.....ls (had to change granny solver), titles still only give me a vegetable plus tt. Feeling dense as a p....o. The egg is telling me writer 1-4 is that in order? Are titles 8-10 are those from M...... R...? If so are they by date or wiki list? I also have the A.....F... egg that I should have yet. Will that help me?

    ReplyDelete
  116. Norte First you can ignore M******** R***. I spent ages following that route to a dead end. I don't know how you got a***** f*** without getting th e egg from the titles. I think you have at least one of the titles wrong. But otherwise work backwards: what does a***** f*** suggest?

    ReplyDelete
  117. Jpete Sorry I didn't notice that my autocorrect had changed your name to Norte above. ( I must work out how to turn it off on this machine!)

    ReplyDelete
  118. jpete I've read comment more carefully and realised that you're very close. I think it's the two t's that are the problem. I'm awAy from my computer so I can't work out exactly where you are going wrong. P****o is a good start.

    ReplyDelete
  119. hehehehee S-T! My gosh if this level had me stumped I'm scared stupid for the next ones! THANK YOU everyone for all the hints you leave behind and then give out! I'm FINALLY off the dreaded (for me!) Level 32!

    ReplyDelete
  120. Thank you minkie. I finally got it. Now into part 2. I am really not liking this level. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  121. Yay, Sharon & jpete; progress!
I had a busy day so I'm just getting back to it. Made it thru 40 without crying, haha! Thanks for your words, S-T; I won't give up just yet =)

    ReplyDelete
  122. LVL 27 completely stuck. I have read all hints on pages 2 & 3 ofcomments but nothing. I counted squares on surfaces but only getting 13 letters not14

    ReplyDelete
  123. lvl 27 there are 11 distinct surfaces to count

    ReplyDelete
  124. Yes Keeper I have those and I assume I must add the three letters I can see. However the letters I have don't give me anything

    ReplyDelete
  125. Maybe double check your counting? For the two L's, the longer side surface is one unit less than the blue surface

    ReplyDelete
  126. TY Keeper I had all those but in m notes I had writen one of my 1s as i and not a! What a brain fart that was.

    ReplyDelete
  127. level 40 can't figure out which cypher to use. Noticed all rows are 1 or 3 of certain fields

    ReplyDelete
  128. @joyce: Samuel will be of assistance

    ReplyDelete
  129. @ namnet o dear, so blind not to see that! Thank you

    ReplyDelete
  130. level 41, not sure what to do with confirmation egg. Google images gave me clip-art which doesn't help and obviously the 3 letters don't help either.

    ReplyDelete
  131. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Joyce: the clip art should help joyce. Go back to the level and have a good look around.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Joyce: just realised I't's not an image search you should be doing. Search on what got you to the egg. You may then get some useful clipart or find a useful decoder.

    ReplyDelete
  134. @ minkie, thank you, made a mistake with 2 letters which are almost the same.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Yes, yes, yes a new ballroom dancer \0/ \0/
Congrats BucksDack, very, very well done :)
You've got your well-deserved place in the
    Ballroom of Bigshots

    ReplyDelete
  136. level 43 googled all names etc. From text the only thing I got is a rotten egg. No idea how to get to the first egg

    ReplyDelete
  137. Joyce, when you googled you may have found one number coming up a lot. To get started try using that number.

    ReplyDelete
  138. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Joyce did you notice something similar regarding their b****d**s? Use that on d**o*t**w*** and m****. hope that helps get you some eggs.

    ReplyDelete
  140. @ minkie & BucksDack thank you both. Found the beautiful pictures, lol

    ReplyDelete
  141. Level 34-I am on the 5th grid m****c******. I've read the hints but I'm not getting a clear picture of what I am doing wrong. Please give me a not so gentle push!!!

    ReplyDelete
  142. @Sharon : Past 4 grids establish what left and right n*****s are to the a***, this one is the same. Try rotating your thoughts, and you'll see how they respond to the n*****s, and what the bottom message suggests.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Level 34...correction...I am not sure now if I really am on the 5th grid. I found a hint that doesn't work so ...I am on the "m****c******' grid...

    ReplyDelete
  144. Sharon On the m****c***** grid you need to make sure you get the correct point of origin for each pair.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Level 34, Minkie2020, the other grids didn't need to be grannied, does this one? I keep rotating the grid but still getting no words, just letters. Still working on it though! I got this far from all the great breadcumbs you guys are leaving behind so a big thank you!

    ReplyDelete
  146. @Sharon : Yes, granny is waiting for you to ask her.
P.S. I'm still not understanding Egg 5 and why the a*** is being that way. I guess I'll wait with Sharon for explanation.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Sharon,
Looks like you're on Egg 4.
It is an anagram, but before anagramming it into the real answer it's not gibberish, but 3 words.
The first step shouldn't be rotating. Just 3 to the right and 14 up is an H.
Yje next step is rotating 90 degrees clockwise so the green is the bottom line. Then 12 right and 8 up (in that rotated grid) will give you an I
Go on like that, always making sure the first colour is the bottom line.

  148. level 44 egg 2 a : read the rules about the game and am left with 4 letters which form a word but answer isn't accepted. Do I have to combine it with something else?

    ReplyDelete
  149. Joyce the rules (which are on egg 2b) should lead to 8 letters.

    ReplyDelete
  150. @ minkie, but I don't have egg 2b yet

    ReplyDelete
  151. OK I thought you'd read the rules on a page in the puzzle. On egg 2a visit granny.

    ReplyDelete
  152. @ minkie, swear I did that but obviously mistyped :(

    ReplyDelete
  153. Need help getting started in 34. Got the rotten egg. Have rotated the grid and tried from both directions from every corner.

    ReplyDelete
  154. jpete There's no need to rotate the grid at this stage. The rotten egg shows where the origin is on an xy graph.

  156. Doh. Kept counting wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Jpete: to avoid counting wrong for the eggs to come I would suggest copying an image of the grid and putting gridlines on it in all possible directons. I never (consciously) used the rotating thing that others have talked about, but my gridlines were really helpful.

  158. Level 34 - I got the rotten egg and trying to figure out "I *m **t a" I did a word search and nothing is coming up and n****** to l***** but still.....another push please!!!! :)

    ReplyDelete
  159. @Sharon : That rotten egg, is it t**r**f***? (That's Confirm/Rotten, so you're on the right track.) If so, then you need another egg, using some conversions to the right numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  160. Level 34 - Yes Namchokdef, I got t** r** f*** that says something about the "real answer" staring with ** a* n** *"and before that the n****p**p... rotten egg.

    ReplyDelete
  161. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  162. @Sharon : You have the egg saying to put something in front, and you have the egg about a fool, what happens when you put the two eggs together, addressing that you're not one of those fools?
Slight Edit : Changed the wordings to make it slightly better.

    ReplyDelete
  163. HA!!! Thank you Namchokdef! I swear I tried that before and got an error but...not this time and off to level 35!

    ReplyDelete
  164. Lvl 41: There's very little in the way of help for this one, except for a few nudges after getting a confirmation egg; which is good news, but I can't even get that =/ I believe I have the path thru, but I guess idk what to do with it. My feeble attempts are netting nothing. Do the dead-ends come into play? The level text?

    ReplyDelete
  165. Lvl 41: Notice the colors in the path. One is very useful.

    ReplyDelete
  166. Almost 2400 comments, so new comments will be on the new page

Go, go, go guys, you're all doing great :)

    ReplyDelete
  167. Thanks, Namnet; still trying but nothing yet.
Does the border pattern have something to do with it? Because that looks like b__m__e...
    I hope the answer is no ={

    ReplyDelete
  168. @LisaK I'm sorry but the answer is yes, so the good thing is you know what to do now :)

    ReplyDelete
  169. Argh, I have that egg now, Keeper; thanks! I've only identified the thing; I've never used it. Will try to figure out how...

    ReplyDelete
  170. The path and egg will confirm what you are thinking.

    ReplyDelete
  171. Bonus 1, I have been staring at the 2 eggs for days! I know I'm overthinking, and I know I'm missing something glaringly obvious, but I'm just not getting it. Can someone, please, put me out of my misery?

    ReplyDelete
  172. Vikkih152, for bonus 1 you neen the omelette of two eggs and the new folder which you can find in the congratulation page (it is the same as in the intermission pages).

    ReplyDelete
  173. Stuck now on level 48. I have two eggs but have spent a long time staring at the 2nd one and have no inspiration. Have tried lots of things but could do with a push now please. Must be obvious as I can find no discussion of it here.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Di999 Have you tried making an omelet?

    ReplyDelete
  175. Fossa...I have the new folder, so I'm looking at eggs 1a and 1b...a string of text, and a pic of a key. Just cannot fathom it!

    ReplyDelete
  176. Vikkih152 You can use the key, but you are not allowed to use digits in this riddle.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Minkie2020 Thank you, but, honestly, I think the last 50 levels have completely frazzled my brain, because I know it's really simple, but I just can't see it!

    ReplyDelete
  178. Thanks Minkie2020. I thought I had tried granny on everything but clearly not the most obvious.

    ReplyDelete
  179. Vikkih If you can't use 1 as part of the key you could use one.

    ReplyDelete
  180. Minkie I understand that...but I don't get how. I know I'm being incredibly dull.

    ReplyDelete
  181. Vikkih,
Did you see the url of the bonus level itself?
It tells you what cipher to use.
The key is 11 letters long.
Minkie already gave you the first 3 :)

    ReplyDelete
  182. S-T, thank you, you mean the v***n**e cipher? That's the first thing I tried! I must have mistyped something, somewhere, so gave up with it...back to plan a :)

    ReplyDelete
  183. Yeah, another finisher \0/ \0/
Congrats Flowerbird, very, very well done :)
    You are now in the
    Hall of Fame
Good luck and lots of fun with finding and playing the bonus levels.

    ReplyDelete
  184. Just finished 34. I needed that :)

    ReplyDelete
  185. Lvl 41: I still only have the conf egg. I'm way out of my element here, so may I have more confirmation? Am I trying to decode the border? It seems to repeat, so if yes, how many letters am I looking for?

    ReplyDelete
  186. Yes LisaK you are and yes it repeats (thank goodness!) 7 letters.

    ReplyDelete
  187. Phew, that IS good news. Thanks, Minkie!

    ReplyDelete
  188. Need help on 35. Have eggs 1 and 2 plus the rotten/confirm egg. Have been looking at e...t... sh...s, but getting repeats of the same letter.

    ReplyDelete
  189. jpete, did you look for the sh...s of the word on egg 2?

    ReplyDelete
  190. Ah, okay, just got your 'e' word. You have what you need; add the sh...s to the word's 'table' name ;)

    ReplyDelete
  191. Soooo....Level 35!I have Egg 2 and from the hints I know I have to do something with the pale description...but I wonder what...Can I get a push please?? Only 15 more levels to go until Bonus time!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  192. Sharon, same level as jpete, yes? Google the egg word with the name of what the picture shows.

    ReplyDelete
  193. LisaK...will this give me Egg 1? I have put in a few words that seemed right since they are seas***** but so far nothing....I'm working on it though!!!

    ReplyDelete
  194. Oh, I assumed you had egg 1, Sharon. Hmm, let me go look...

    ReplyDelete
  195. Lvl 35 - I thought getting egg 2 was too easy.

    ReplyDelete
  196. You know what? Drop the 'sea' and try again. Your google search needs two words; that AND the one on the egg. Then read what I told jpete above. You should be good to go =)

    ReplyDelete
  197. LisaK...I don't have egg 1. I got the table name of egg 2 e*****T but after dropping the 'sea' and combining the two I think I need egg 1. What does it have to do with the "pale" description on the level?

    ReplyDelete
  198. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  199. Sharon, egg 1 is obtained by using the P.T. abbreviations, minus the 'pale' one. Hope that helps.
    edited for typo
