That picture puzzle was poor. I like hard puzzles, but they must be logical and fun. Here we had just many possible variants to try, first 24 different possibilities to place the four upper left corner pieces (4! = 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 24), and 4 different possibilities for the upper right corner, together 4 × 24 = 96 possible variants to assemble the upper half with no additional hints. You can methodically try all of them, and hope that the right combination will not be the last one. Or check the VWT or comments, thanks, AntietamGuy!
