  5. Nevermind, just found what the orange dots on the clock mean... (Hint: look at the bottom of the king piece and combine it with something else).

  6. Ahhh! This makes me miss the "old days"!

  7. How on earth are people marking such a fantastic game so low? Guess anything that makes them have to think is just too much effort; therefore, why play? I play games to be challenged. I LOVED playing a Tomatea game again. Thank you!

  8. Even Tomatea's weakest games of the past (and there are very few of those) are worth a thousand times any of the stick-stuff-on-walls games that dominate this and other escape games sites.

Karen, I suspect the people who write 'great game' (or similar) here for games which should simply be avoided find works like Tomatea's far too difficult. They'd rather stick lollipops on an iguana or whatever's in the latest G4K game.

  9. Excellent Game!

Note that items can be combined to make new items and some items are used more than once. Pay attention to clues that don't "move".

Revisit early clues that can be used again, especially at the end. It took me forever to figure where to put the coin.

  10. There's no way this game should have anything less than 5 stars.

  11. Yesterday it had 3 stars and today it has 2 1/2? What is wrong with people? This is one of the best escape games/devs there is. I miss those days!

  12. I used the search bar for Tomatea games, and the original post of this game it got 5 stars! None of the games were under 4 stars.

I suspect SLS is right about putting lollipops on iguanas!

  13. NotYou...it's not the players that are voting the games on EG24 down. Someone has decided to mess around with the star rating system in several games on EG24, and is purposefully voting one star many times to make the ratings look low. Your guess as to why they're doing that is as good as mine. Maybe a competitor?

  14. 2 stars? Really?
    Something must be broken.

  15. Tomatea does not have competitors, they are that good. If the game had one star i would play it, and enjoy it.

  16. Ian/bluepeahen....It's not the game that has the competitor....it's the site. At first it was with SD's (Selfdefiant) games, but now it's this one...someone is down-voting repeatedly so that the games look like they are not popular. Selfdefiant mentioned in the comments of one of his games that it does not matter to him what the star rating is - it's the amount of views that generate the revenue. That's why my guess is that it might be a competitor of EG24 in general...but that's just speculation on my part. I don't know why someone would go to all the trouble to do this?

If you search for "tomatea" in the search bar, you will see that every other tomatea game has at least 4-1/2 to 5 stars...same thing with SD games...that's why it seems to me that someone is targeting EG24 in general, and not the game developers.

  17. I agree with you all. It's just trollish behavior. But I know better than the stars. In fact, I DID search Tomatea in the search bar and have been having a blast replaying games! Jokes on the trolls, I guess! :)
