Tried that silly up/down puzzle about six times (yes, six) before watching the VWT. Tried it twice more before it finally worked. Strange!

ok, so down/up puzzle - no sequence, just how many of each.
ReplyDeleteI love the padlock puzzles by the way. And the oblong sliders. Always skip the square slider puzzles though - they bring back panicky childhood memories of when you had those little plastic slider games and you had to put all the numbers in sequence. Aargh!
ReplyDeleteI could never do the square slider games when I was a kid, but I've got it sussed now. Get 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 13 in place, then fiddle around with the remaining 5 pieces.
ReplyDeleteI had the slider game with 15 numbers in my childhood too, and remember that it was always a headache with the last three numbers. Now I'm feeling like an expert thanks to these games here, it became already a bit boring, because now I know how to solve it quickly, and no thinking is needed.
ReplyDeleteUp/down was not good, if the clue was really the teeth. I prefer more interesting logic in the puzzles, not just trying different sequences to find out what the game maker had in mind.
