@Puzzled for 89 I think you have to convert the word back and then pick. You can't get to the red path until you are further on in the green path.

ReplyDeleteI'm stuck on 91 Egg 1A despite having read all the previous hints. All I can tell is that I'm meant to be marking something on the level. I can see little sums in the pics on the egg, but they aren't super clear and I don't know how I would apply them in any case. I'm not Googling since S-T said it's not a Google level. So I'm a bit stumped. Thought of dividing the level grid into quadrants, but that doesn't seem to get me anywhere either.

ReplyDelete@minkie: I thought of considering the 4 letters on the egg as part of the grid and re-scanning for doubles, but that doesn't work because for 2 of the letters, including them as part of the original grid means that there are then 3 instances of them in total, which is neither here nor there given that we're considering either 2 or 4. Unless I'm barking up the wrong tree. If the little codes are irrelevant and I don't need to Google what the molecules are, I'm kind of struggling to know what to apply and how. :/

ReplyDelete@jpete: take note of where the characters are located on the keyboard and the numbers of keys. It should help you to get the first egg.

Turns out egg 1a was displaying incorrectly in Microsoft Edge browser, missing the last three items on the right altogether and jumbling up the rest. So all Dutch words are automatically translated.
Better turn it off, you might encounter the same kind of problems on other levels.

ReplyDeleteThere are two hints on the level, both of them in the poem and one of them in ftf of the text giving you the egg.
On the egg you can see an example of the result of the method. So, not a lot of possibilities, but in fact for most of them (actually hoping/thinking all of them) only one solution.
