  1. Still strugging with 107. Have eggs 1, 2a, 2b and granny. Used the c***** indicated by the lion twice and got interesting results. One suggests another code, but I can't use it on its own. Any nudge?

  2. Congrats Puffin, very well done :)

  4. @minkie, the lion tells the cipher, 2a and 2b gives what you need. Then, no more cipher, only picking.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Congrats to all the new finishers!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Thanks Ellie. I seem to have done all that except the picking. I'll let it simmer overnight and see if light dawns.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Congrats to all the finishers!

  8. Lvl 66. Only have 1 egg from f****s and l***s. Missing the obvious again.

    ReplyDelete
  9. jpete, for lvl 66, did you see the name of the pic on the main level page? It's a hint as to what you need for from those places to get some more eggs.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Level 97 ༼☯﹏☯༽ but is that ... is that a pyramid?

    ReplyDelete
  11. did not have fun on lvl 82 but somehow made it through ):

    ReplyDelete
  12. Yes, Puzzled. Another pyramid from hell. :P

Well done Amy. One headache down and more to come.

    ReplyDelete
  13. @BFS I hope I can help you but I can't even get through part 1...
Still totally clueless after waking up with a fresh mind

    ReplyDelete
  14. @LinR am I looking for dates as in b**d*****?

    ReplyDelete
  15. LVL 106 Still poking at this. Just to know if I'm on the right track are the first three letters N,S,I?

    ReplyDelete
  16. @chael are you still on the main level? No anagram needed if you get the right letters

    ReplyDelete
  17. @keeper I am still on the main level. I am trying M**** C*** but I am unsure of my letters. I am getting N & S as my first two letters but I don't see what I am doing wrong here. Obviously, there is something big I am missing.

    ReplyDelete
  18. @Chael - the starting point of each letter always faces the same direction :)

    ReplyDelete
  19. @amy: as I am still glued into lvl 82 (egg 2), how did you get it? Count differently? Magic trick somewhere?
Back again to counting before going crazy!

    ReplyDelete
  20. @eric there is no shortcut, just keep counting and make sure you do the conversion correctly :)

    ReplyDelete
  21. @eric it took several recounts. I counted the 1x1s first, since that was the easiest, for all the shapes then went back and counted the bigger ones because that's where i kept messing up.

so my notes looked like this:
first shape: # of 1x1s + (# from bigger squares)

    ReplyDelete
  22. @amy: I use the same method, always get the same numbers (except for 2 on first row that may vary, assuming there are hidden/missing squares or not) and still get a wrong result apparently. Am going mad with this one!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Yeepeee! Finally got it !

    ReplyDelete
  24. @eric woohoo! i'm now working on 83 but i think its time to call it a night, i've had enough counting for today haha

    ReplyDelete
  25. Congrats to all brainiacs that already have finished the riddle.
    Great job, well done!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. bonus1 P1,
    No ranges.

Stuck at B1P2. Tried to take eyes as guide, but can't be so. Some with several variables or non in a few cases.

    ReplyDelete
  27. @Edgar - so I should pick from the words in the pic for bonus 1 p1? I was either getting too many vowels or getting like 13 letters that don't give a good word :/

    ReplyDelete
  28. @aaaasa, 13 is too many, but I think you're picking them from the right place (words in pic).

    ReplyDelete
  29. @edgar thanks! I'm sure I tried this last night but must be too excited (to finish the main levels) and kept counting wrong

    ReplyDelete
  30. @amy: day starts here. Just got the rotten egg.

    ReplyDelete
  31. yay on part 3! Eye is important, text also gives important hint

    ReplyDelete
  32. @eric look carefully at the rotten egg again (and the level page), and do a bit of googling

    ReplyDelete
  33. @keeper, Is 1st left-looking left eye telling me to change the leftmost letter of left word in 1st set?

    ReplyDelete
  34. @edgar You need both eyes for the correct letter
Please come to part 3 to help me, my ideas don't work

    ReplyDelete
  35. Hmm, so I guess my question has a no as an answer... thanks Keeper, let me think this through...

    ReplyDelete
  36. B1P3 now. I was so much trying to change both parts of each set. Thanks Keeper.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Lvl 82 : egg 2 pffff. Am I looking for 12 letters ?

    ReplyDelete
  38. @ike yes, happy counting :)

    ReplyDelete
  39. Bonus 1 Part 2 - I noticed some changes in p***********n of v****s in the title. Is this important?

    ReplyDelete
  40. @aaaasa what is p***********n? lol

    ReplyDelete
  41. @Keeper - I mean how they s***d before and after the change

    ReplyDelete
  42. @aaaasa Oh I see, this is not important. The eyes and level text tell you where/what to m*****

    ReplyDelete
  43. Ahh I see it now. Onto part 3 :)

    ReplyDelete
  44. Bonus 1 part 3, no idea what to do, although I found an egg for Bonus 9

    ReplyDelete
  45. Bonus 1 part 3, changes in text are to apply in pic. I'm in part 4 now.

    ReplyDelete
  46. LVL 106 - I finally got past the first screen to Egg 1! Thank you all! Then I got Egg 2a and 2b. Now I am trying to use what I did on the first screen on Egg 1.

    ReplyDelete
  47. On part 5 now :)
I know how it works but no idea WHY it worked

    ReplyDelete
  48. Great Keeper! Elaborate, elaborate!!

    ReplyDelete
  49. I kind of get it now (though not sure if this is s-t's original intention)
The pics tell you what do you need

    ReplyDelete
  50. LVL 106 -Can you reuse the letters when converting Egg1 to M****? For example, if you have a D***, D**, D***, D***, D***, would that be two different P********* letters or one?

    ReplyDelete
  51. @Chael615, that would be non. P*********s must apply to whole w***s.

    ReplyDelete
  52. @chael you need to focus on the whole word rather than individual letters

    ReplyDelete
  53. So, Keeper! B1P4, you were saying...?

    ReplyDelete
  54. @edgar give granny the ingredients and she'll give you a nice omelette :)

    ReplyDelete
  55. Bonus 1 Part 4
I see how you can 'maybe' get it with the pic, but it was supposed to be just a nice pic :)
The text on the other hand is quite well known and that's the key.

    ReplyDelete
  56. So I am converting only the P********* to M**** in Egg 1?

    ReplyDelete
  57. Lol, nope Chael, that's the donkey work. You have to do all the words :P

    ReplyDelete
  58. Oh, I have to convert every letter of every word and see which end up as P**********.

    ReplyDelete
  59. 107 No light has dawned overnight. I've got eggs 1, granny, 2aq, 2b and two 8-letter strings. Ellie says all I need to do now is pick, so I take it b***** is not involved. I can't see what to pick from or what to pick with. All I have is 6 simple steps and the methods used to take them.

    ReplyDelete
  60. @minkie have you decoded 2a/b based on egg 1? Then the remaining step is to pick (look at the plain text and relate it to the level page)

    ReplyDelete
  61. Level 107: I have egg 1 and egg 2b. How do I get egg 2a? I found where the main level mentions c*****s, not just c****r. Is the text immediately below the pic a hint as to which one to use?

    ReplyDelete
  62. Laurie I found two ways to get egg 2b. I didn't find a hint to use them. Both are commonly used in riddles. One doesn't need a key, the other normally does use a key, but in this case I put in no key at all.

    ReplyDelete
  63. @laurie there are two c*****s that satisfy the "equation" in the level

    ReplyDelete
  64. Wow, you guys are already ahead of me on the bonus levels. I'm still stuck on Part 2. Figured out the e*** thing, but do the e*** indicate the side you're meant to change or the side that's meant to stay the same? Also, can you add a l****r or change more than one?

    ReplyDelete
  65. B1P5 I think this is the real donkeywork! How many more eggs to go?? (at egg 3 now)

    ReplyDelete
  66. 7 eggs there and with every egg it's getting harder and longer :P

    ReplyDelete
  67. @bfs the text tells you what can you do to the words, and you need both eyes to identify where to do that

    ReplyDelete
  68. @Keeper - is the b*** in egg 1 a famous one? I don't know much about b***s so having a hard time finding it now :/

    ReplyDelete
  69. @aaaasa I had a hard time as well, went through a lot of list of b***s but couldn't find the answer, at the end I got the answer by trial and error

    ReplyDelete
  70. @Keeper: Oh! :/ I thought L meant "c****e the s***t of the word" and R meant "c****e the e** of the word". Is that wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  71. lvl 82 egg 2 my head is cubical now and I can't give Granny what she wants. I only counted 3 vowels, that can't be right, right ?

    ReplyDelete
  72. 107 Keeper. I've been trying to pick from the level text for ages, but I am getting vile letters. So I think I'm on the wrong track. Is the title on the level page important at this point?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Trial and error is the way to go on Bonus 1, part 5.
But like the info says, never an anagram, so not dozens of possibilities, since it's all normal words.

    ReplyDelete
  74. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Done all that BFS. I think I'm on the last step. I've got two interesting 8-letter strings from doing as the lion suggests.

    ReplyDelete
  76. @bfs for each row you need two L/R to locate the letter
@ike each row gives you a word, you can use that as a checking
@minkie title is not but level page is important, remember *or*

    ReplyDelete
  77. @minkie: From what I remember, you want to apply the first line of the level text to something. I hope I'm remembering right because I can't seem to do it myself now. LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  78. @Keeper: I thought it was about making c*****s as indicated by the e**s. E.g. for the first one I would c****e the s***t of the l**t h**d word (since the l**t e** is l*****g to the l**t) and the e** of the r***t h**d word (since the r***t e** is l*****g to the r***t). Is that wrong? Your hint seems to be indicating that I'm looking for a single l****r rather than two from each set.

    ReplyDelete
  79. @Puzzled: Haha, I just saw your earlier comment. That was my exact reaction to that level, LOL. But don't worry, this pyramid is not as bad as the one from the other riddle. :D It's tough, but there are a lot of good hints in the comments, including a very good one from the master s-t himself, which is the one that really helped me!

    ReplyDelete
  80. @bfs yes, one letter per row

    ReplyDelete
  81. At egg 5 now, really want to give up...... :(

    ReplyDelete
  82. @Keeper - am I looking for two words in egg 1?

    ReplyDelete
  83. @Keeper: But e.g. for the first set, the l**t e** looks l**t, which I thought indicated the f***t l****r of the l**t-h**d word, and the r***t e** looks r***t, which I thought indicated the l**t l****r of the r***t-h**d word. But those two l****rs are different. So how can I pick just one l****r from that set while also following the directions of the e**s?

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  85. Ohhhhh!!! OMG, thank you, Keeper. I've been struggling since yesterday trying to amend words that never needed it. I think I am on the right path now.

    ReplyDelete
  86. @bfs :)
I've deleted the comment as it may be a bit spoily

    ReplyDelete
  87. I don't think it was too spoily but fair enough!

    Promptly stuck on B1P3. LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  88. lvl 82: @Keeper, thx again :-)

    ReplyDelete
  89. @bfs there are many hints up here :)
For egg 5, may I know how many words in total? Is it a brand or a model? or whatever?

    ReplyDelete
  90. LVL 69 I need a kick start here. I have been trying to find numbers from the pic name to apply to the pic items

    ReplyDelete
  91. Keeper,
    Old, not existing anymore, brand.
    2 words; brand-model

    General hint;
It's often easier to first try/find parts in the middle, where the shorter words are.

    ReplyDelete
  92. @Keeper: The only hint I can see for Part 3 is Edgar's hint that "changes in text are to apply in pic". I've tried a few things (subbing in letters and visiting Granny), but nothing's working.

    ReplyDelete
  93. @s-t thanks will try again
@bfs look at how s-t transforms into s-t

    ReplyDelete
  94. @colmkilm how many words in the pic name?

    ReplyDelete
  95. LVL 107 - I also have eggs 1, 2a, 2b, have some Gibberish and maybe a k** somewhere. I feel like I have to replace a letter with a different letter or vice versa but nothing comes up right in the C**** (that the lion suggested).

    ReplyDelete
  96. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  97. I'm still worrying away at what I think is the final step of 107. I removed some things, then picked and got a 4-letter word that didn't work. Is this anything like the right approach.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Chael You should be able to use that c***** with things you already have. No need to replace letters.

    ReplyDelete
  99. @minkie - did you get the 8-letter strings with lots of same letters?

    ReplyDelete
  100. Yes I've got those aaaaasa.

    ReplyDelete
  101. @minkie - apply those letters on level pic to pick the letters. You should know which c*****s they represent :)

    ReplyDelete
  102. @Keeper: I can see that letters have been changed. Tried applying changes in the same positions on the text, but Granny doesn't like anything I give her.

    ReplyDelete
  103. I'm still at Bonus 1 P5 egg 1 looking for the b***... Even knowing the number of words there seems to be too many options to try :/

    ReplyDelete
  104. aaaasa I've no idea what c***** the single letter string represents.

    ReplyDelete
  105. @minkie - the level title tells you what c***** each letter represents. If your string doesn't have those letters you might want to check your plaintext again :)

    ReplyDelete
  106. LVL 107 - I have two interesting strings. One of oNe letter that is repeated (8 in total) and one that has two different letters that are significant in the main page.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Ahh not pic name but level name

    ReplyDelete
  108. At Last!!! Thanks aaaasa, keeper, bfs for dragging me through :)

    ReplyDelete
  109. Yay minkie!!

I'm still totally stumped by B1P3. I'm thinking about how s-t becomes s-t, but I have no idea how to successfully map that onto the level text. :/

    ReplyDelete
  110. @BFS - in the text, some l*****s are changed. Can you see those l*****s in the pic?

    ReplyDelete
  111. Omg. So simple. Thanks, @aaaasa. I was definitely overthinking.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Lol, so many comments with things like ...I was definitely overthinking...

Congrats Keeper, trial and error donkey done :)

    ReplyDelete
  113. 109, Oh good heavens. Every time a maze comes up in ST's puzzles he seems to have found a new cunning trick to make it harder to navigate :/

    ReplyDelete
  114. Still stuck on lvl 66 with the egg with the kitten. Just don't know what I'm looking for.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Well done, Keeper!!!

I'm still searching for a b*** on Part 5 Egg 1. Tried to be oversmart and use Python to get all possible combinations. The IDE has frozen. That'll teach me! LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Have to stop at bonus 6 tonight as this level is A LOT
Good luck all in finding the way out of bonus 1 :)

    ReplyDelete
  117. Holy shit, Keeper! You've zoomed through them! Still struggling with Bonus 1 Part 5 Egg 1. :/

    ReplyDelete
  118. LVL 107 - I think one of my strings is correct because it has the letters mentioned in the level text. The other is a string of the same letter (near the midpoint of the alphabet). I believe I have to switch some of one letter to the other and vice versa but how?

    ReplyDelete
  119. Got through 108, and now staring at 109. I don't think I can tackle this right now.

    ReplyDelete
  120. LVL 104, I'm so turned around at this point! I've got all (I think) eggs through 5a. Where to use these numbers?

    ReplyDelete
  121. Chael You are not switching letters. You need to apply what you have found to the text string in the pic.

I'm where you are Laurie. Still haven't found a way through :/

    ReplyDelete
  122. @minkie and @Laurie: You can go up and down on your route. Doesn't have to be just one way.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Yes, I've been doing that BFS and trying to block of dead ends, but it is horribly easy to make a mistake.

    ReplyDelete
  124. @BFS: Yes, I saw that. I just don't do well with 3D mazes. It's not entirely clear to me in some places exactly where the end of the ladders are or which side they are on. I usually do work mazes by blocking out dead ends, as minkie says, but this one looks as if it will not be easy to discern them. If it were possible to get a 2D rendering of it, I think I would find that easier.

    ReplyDelete
  125. I've been having the same problem with the ends of the ladders Laurie. Sometimes they seem to be exactly on the blue line, so ambiguous.

    ReplyDelete
  126. @Chael: the string of all the same letter is not needed. The other one is the one you need. Apply it to the level pic text in the way suggested by the level title (and by what you did to get eggs 2a and 2b).

    ReplyDelete
  127. Hancock,
The hands are telling you to use them on the other hands answers!

    ReplyDelete
  128. Lvl 84: stuck there for hours. Nothing worked so far. I tried another method, suggested by other riddlers before, but I see no repetitions so don't know how they succeeded. Also, I wonder why some letters in the text are of different colour...

    ReplyDelete
  129. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  130. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  131. @minkie and @Laurie: Yeah, I had the same issue with the ladders. For some reason working backwards from the end helped me. Also, if I'm remembering right, there are some ladders that can be eliminated since they don't lead to any others.

I'm super stuck on Bonus 1 Part 5 Egg 4. I know it's the same method but I've gone through lists and lists of f*****s and also tried a lot of combinations in a crossword solver, and I get nothing. Is it something common, or something in Latin, or?

    ReplyDelete
  132. @minkie: unless the cubes in the level before killed my eyes (lol!), yes I mean 84. Check the level text again but on my screen I have 4 of them different.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Oh, I see what you mean Eric911. You can use those 4 for something you need to use v*******.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Yikes I used the wrong synonym. On to LVL 70 now

    ReplyDelete
  135. @BFS - If you meant Part 5 egg 3 then it's not Latin. You need 3 words :)

    ReplyDelete
  136. @aaaasa: Sorry, yes, I meant egg 3. 3 words?? Aaaaargh. I can't even find any f*****s that have 3 words. *internal screaming*

    ReplyDelete
  137. BFS can I confirm what you said earlier about granny not being needed to find a way through the 109 maze? And can I assume that the word or phrase starts with ST and ends with the car?

    ReplyDelete
  138. Level 88 : Hmm, I haven't found any eggs yet, could I get some small hints? I have some ideas on what to find, maybe, but is it M/D or D/M? Thank you in advanced.
Also, my progression speed is going to be quite slow now, have stuffs to focus on. Hopefully not slow enough that there's not much people for help. ^_^

    ReplyDelete
  139. @minkie: Yeah, you should get 2 words that make sense without Granny. You'll get an egg for that and another egg after using Granny.

    ReplyDelete
  140. @Namchokdef: The level pic is clickable and should give you some idea. Remember that there are two ways for you to follow the instructions on the level page.

    ReplyDelete
  141. I'm just getting started on the bonus level and I can't even find it. I converted the numbers and have a phrase of sorts but it doesn't work. This doesn't bode well for me. Is part of the secret figuring out where to use it?

    ReplyDelete
  142. Thanks ST, that makes me realize I must be missing one or two hands. I learned from the comments there is a 4c to be found. I have eggs 1b,1c, 1d,1e, 2a,2b, 3a,3b,3c, 4a,4b,5a.

    ReplyDelete
  143. LVL 71 Got a YES egg with a nice pic of c****s. I found a s**w about s********e. I have not used first set of numbers successfully. Any hints?

    ReplyDelete
  144. @Puffin, yes you need to find where to use it (but you've been around quite much already, so you should find some place). Also, it's not the exact phrase. You need to use the given info to modify what you already have got. Simple as that lol.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Hancock,
4a (with hint from 4b) will give you 4c and that will lead to 5b

    ReplyDelete
  146. Colmkilm,
Seems you found what you need with Google.
Now you can use the numbers again, but this time as pairs.

    ReplyDelete
  147. lvl 99 I read all the hints but I'm confused,it says only use a p.....le.Use sth again in the fifteen words or sth elsewhere?

    ReplyDelete
  148. lvl 83. I have the confirmation 'yes' egg from getting the s*** but I know I'm missing something obvious because idk how to get the rotten egg.

    ReplyDelete
  149. @theartist lvl 99, your last answer contains the p.....le.

    ReplyDelete
  150. @amy lvl 83, ha! there was a confirmation egg! Never found it before but I did find the rotten one, which you don't need of course since it stinks. But, if you're a completionist and want it anyway, do the 'math' and convert.

    ReplyDelete
  151. @ST Are there any other eggs that I need to find? Trying to combine c*******e with s********e. Not getting anything.

    ReplyDelete
  152. @amy, and next step is s*** l****s.

    ReplyDelete
  153. @Colmkilm,
You already found the T* s***. Apply the numbers to it.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Bonus 1 part 5. I am confused. The level says to find the band and yet both Keeper and Small Tool refer to brand - model. Which is it? Did I misread something?

    ReplyDelete
  155. @Lin, the brand-model is for a later egg (I think it was egg 5), so don't think about that yet. Look for the band.

    ReplyDelete
  156. @Edgar I have tried s****n number with e*****e number. Am I barking up the wrong tree?

    ReplyDelete
  157. @Colmkilm, right tree, now collect those t****s

    ReplyDelete
  158. @Edgar seems granny doesn't like me tonight. She won't accept my ftfs from the e*****e t****s.

    ReplyDelete
  159. @edgar thanks! I thought the rotten egg would help me since it has a hint but i'm not getting it. I thought I knew how to solve the level based on the comments but the method I'm doing gives me way to many "i"s

    ReplyDelete
  160. Sill stuck on 66. Sorry I only the the kitten egg. I just don't understand what I'm looking for. Dates as in b** d*****?, but not sure which ones. Not sure what the 3 pictures are telling me. Have looked in wiki on all 3, but nothing clicks.

    ReplyDelete
  161. I am having an awful time trying to find the band for bonus 1 part 5. Is this band well known around the world or is it better known in Europe?

    ReplyDelete
  162. Thanks for the help so far guys but I have to go. The trouble and strife needs me up the apple and pears!!!! See yall tomorrow

    ReplyDelete
  163. @amy, the method you are using is quite common in riddles, but this one has a little twist. Inspect your numbers again.

    ReplyDelete
  164. @Lin, I don't think it's known anywhere lol. I tried forever to search for a band, but came up with old fashioned brute forcing. Two words.

  165. @Colmkilm, if granny gives her back at you, pinch her in the butt...
No anagram needed, recheck your results and spell something from top to bottom.

  166. @jpete, you are almost done. Take some info from EGG 1 and EGG 2 and ask granny to cook.

  176. LVL 107 - Still trying to apply my string of 8 to the text in the level pic. Trying to use some C***** C******. Especially the ones used previous in this level. Tried to take the results of one to another C*****. Am I on the right track?

    ReplyDelete
  177. @Chael - the string shows what c***** to apply to each individual letter in the level pic

  180. Level 98 - I really don't understand the "a** d********g" hint for the blue words. Is it a google level? Is it a grammar thing? I can't see any specific connection. Help please :)

    ReplyDelete
  181. @hancock the level page tells you *or*

@puzzled there is one thing that can use all the blue words to d*******

@ellie same as you at egg 2, l***/r**** or l***/s**** both don't seem to work

    ReplyDelete
  182. @Puzzled, lvl 98, find a single (common) word that works with each of those blue words. Some connections may not be as strong, but if you read each word you will find a fit. Not google.

  191. Lvl 74 - saw a lonely hint to the effect of "pic title ... hints at what two a*******s to use. Convert the title gibberish using the first and then use that to convert with the second." Guess I need a wee bit more of a nudge on what is meant by "2 a*******s" and how that relates to the image name. Tried various things but not getting anything useful. TIA.

  192. Thanks, Keeper, still cant get it! I've tried a lot of very complicated (wrong)things and I can see that it must be simple!
