The answer should be 80 but isn't??
So a*b+c also works for all of the clues...bad bad bad

That was excellent, one of the best of this series, thank you! I even did like the searching for the coins. Made so many clicks, that the score was in the end under 500. But I needed that last coin! And I found that blade at last.
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, Pats Fan is right, of course. Math should have only one solution, or if not, then all the solutions should open the locker. I didn't notice a × c - b at all, saw in the first second a × b + c and didn't examine more. The brain makes automatically operations with the leftmost numbers first, as we used always to read from left to right. If this doesn't work, only then I start to check other possibilities.
