Afton Alps! Oh my goodness; I've skied there many times. It's . . . not quite as mountainous as this would have you think. ;-) It uses hills and bluffs near the Mississippi River. Now, up north it's a little more real. Lutsen, on the North Shore of Lake Superior, technically is on mountains. Technically. Their summits are high enough to qualify. ;-) (The threshhold is 1,000 feet of vertical drop, and the highest peak at Lutsen is 1,088 feet.)
Still, very cool to see a reference to a place I went so often as a teen!
