Empty Room Escape WalkthroughBeanPieChen + Itch.io - Empty Room Escape is another point and click room escape game developed by Bean Pie Chen for Itch.io. In this short escape game, you are locked in a room with no doors, no windows, and almost nothing, and it seems impossible to leave here. Click on the left or right side of the scene to turn left or right. Click on objects to interact or take a closer look and click on the bottom or top side of the scene to go back. Good luck and have fun!

  1. As there's no VWT, I take the opportunity to write a WT
(like in good old times 😇 - in the name of EGDAWT
= Every Game Deserves a WalkThrough):

    - start view: light switch
    - go left: fuse box & floor panel
    - back to switch to turn lights off
    - go left: hint at fuse box
    - turn light on again & flip fuses acc to hint
(changes in each new game, blue fuse as last one)
    - take purple fuse from drawer, insert in box & flip it
    - look up for phone number (changes in each new game)
    - lift handset & dial for balloon
    - pick up drawer key at bottom of string
    - demolition time (bottom of shelf, top left on glass) with
    hammer from drawer
    - pick up books & place them on the floor
    - now you can reach ceiling lamp
    - flip switch
(back to room overview: click on top of screen - cursor: hand)
    - turn off light & escape

    BTW:
    painting was just decoration 😉

    1. Thanks for the explanation for the hammer. I didn't pay close enough attention to the picture in the drawer to see where to use it.

    2. Thanks for the help. I tried the hammer on the bookcase, but didn't click on the right spot. I hate when escape games do that!

    3. Thanks, dacapo, fantastic! I think I haven't seen a WT last five years or so.

  3. Thanks, dacapo!! I too had been struggling with where to use the hammer. Like Zhenne I had tried the glasson the bookcase but didn't find the "sweet spot".
    Nice little game. 😊
