  17. Fantastic game, loved it! Needed some little thinking and searching for the right places, but that was actually fun, made it quite easily without help.

But I don't understand the title about dogs, cats and cherry blossoms. The game was rather about chicken and bear (?) and food. Maybe there was some bigger background story, unfortunately I can't read Japanese.

    1. Every year in Japan, it's a big celebration to view the cherry tree blossoms in bloom. So, people make a Bento (lunchbox) and go sit under the trees to be surrounded by the fallen petals, often times with a bottle of sake. It's a celebration of Spring, which in this case, was ruined by the rain, so after going through all of that work, Mr. Bear just sat at the window with the chicken to view the sakura (cherry trees) in the rain with his tea and had his lunch of grilled salmon, octopus shaped sausages, broccoli, tamagoyaki (rolled egg omelet), rice with umeboshi (pickled plum) and garnished with the tomato, with a popsicle for dessert. Now I'm hungry!

    2. Ah, thank you, Sensei! Now it makes sense. I've been in Japan long time ago, and I know about sakura celebration, just couldn't understand, how it is connected with the game. Very sweet story, it makes the game even better. And I like Japanese cuisine very much!

Only now I got the idea that maybe these dogs and cats are connected with the rain? I'm not strong in English, but I know the idiom "raining cats and dogs". Is that where the game title comes from?

    3. punnivinn, I think "Dogs and Cats" is related to developer name included in Japanese game title and translated together with game name. Because some of previous games also have it :)
