ReplyDeleteI must say that "counting chickens" was an issue with me. I SEE two babies....but you are required to count the ones younger than those....if you catch my drift.

Deletenow find their previous forms before transformation at 3 places (in the fridge 😉, in the pond behind the rock - 1 is hiding - & the backside of the nibbled leaves)
The only number I had right was for the frogs (tadpoles). Didn't see one butterfly out there.
ReplyDeleteYou need to count the caterpillars, as they are the young form of butterfly. Same as eggs for chickens and tadpoles for frogs.
